O boy dis is complete madness.my wife cannot attempt dis shit, the pastor's eye and attention cannot be taken away from from her boobs. dis one na complete distraction |
IBB is saying the fact, let's forget his past though he misused it. For me, if I have my way, I'll scrap the state system of government so that they will be nothing like state governors again and also the senate and the house of reps will go too becos as we all know these are money wasters in this country. Instead, the local government chairmen will wield some of the powers that governors had and .make their local governments very strong so that they can directly fend for themselves and embark on projects of their choice. All The local government house speakers will come together every month to deliberate on national issues on part time basis and replace the full time national Assembly members who are just enriching themselves as d expense on Nigerians. |
Themandator:I think this issue of building a state owned seaport is as a result of bitter controversy in the senate over the inability to appropriate money for the dredging of the calabar river to accommodate bigger vessels. This matter has been dividing the senate whenever this matter comes up for discussion right from Obasanjos era. The calabar seaport is a federal government facility and has been lying idle for long as a result of bureaucratic bottlenecks and corruption. I think it will be good to establish the seaport for the development of the state. |
Guys abi e surprise una? no be naija we dey again were anything under d sun dey happen? abeg make una close DAT chapter jare becos d owners wet be APC don carry their load pur for house. |
bokohalal:Oh boy stop decieving yourself, is there any President / head of state in this country that was not currupt? If no one has ever corruptly enrich himself in this country before, let him first cast a stone at Jonathan. |
Abeg dear, it doesn't matter the course you read at school. At times people are forced to take courses they are not interested in just becos they never met the jamb cut off mark or or have a deficiency in waec. Please go for where your passion lies. period. |
Oh boy, chemical engineering is such a nice course you don't even need to look for job. Get your acts together man, put the knowledge you acquired at school into work and you'll see money running towards you. Nigerians should stop this colonial mentality of searching for job after school, in fact you should have started making money from your knowledge even while in school A lot of Nigerians make the mistake of going around with their CVs to offices looking for non existing jobs when they should be self employed even after reading nice courses. A good example is a friend of mine who read geology and was making money while in school drilling boreholes for people and now that he graduated, he setup his own private business drilling boreholes and offering other related services. In just about three years of graduation, this guy has built a four bedroom flat, married just last year and doing well. So you don't necessary need paid employment you can employ yourself with your knowledge. |
Na today Nigerians start to dey hear such promises? Na una self una dey decieve no be me. |
This is a good gesture though, but a waste of time and resources if they are not allowed to distribute d power to their own people after building d dam. If states are allowed to distribute power to their own citizens after building their power stations, then all these power outage being witnessed in this nation will be a thing of the past. Last time I learnt states were now allowed to takeover and maintain federal roads, why can't the same be extended to electricity and others sectors? why do our so-called leaders love moving round a viscous circle thereby putting the whole country in the dark? why do we like making the same old mistakes of d past that keeps giving us the same unfortunate bad results? I think our leaders should divert from the old non-working systems and steer d ship of this nation to d right direction, becos if they continue to make d same old mistake of the past administrations, they'll continue to get d same old failures as result. |
izsmike:Guy. God bless you, you really spoke my mind. |
This is the best thing that will happen. in this country. Just two months ago I was discussing with a neighbour about all the so-called federal roads being subjected to death traps and I suggested it will be better for the federal government to hand over all the federal roads to the respective states that are located therein and I'm glad to hear this good news. I've traversed a lot of mecandanized and non mecandamized thorofares in this nation and the one that really make me kolo just recently is the Calabar-Itu road. "in fact, a pregnant woman will go into a forced labour while passing through this road", so said one of the passengers onboard the bus we travelled together and there are many of such federal death traps in the nation. Nigerian economy is in shambles becos of the over centralization of the country. A situation whereby a state governor or government have to run to Abuja to beg for things to be done in his state is unacceptable. If the past governments in power have taken such proactive steps before now, most of the carnages experienced in this country on a daily basis would have been averted. A situation where a President appoints a federal minister of works to oversee, construct and maintain all the federal roads in a big country like Nigeria is just an exercise in futility becos he will not be able to construct every roads in the country, but state governments can build and maintain roads in their domains becos no sane governor will want to live with dilapidated and death traps in his state. This is also the time for the federal government to allow states to exploit the various natural resources in their respective domains like solid minerals and oil as the F.G is handicapped in supplying the needs of the entire country. , we all know the situation of electricity in this country, the federal government should also allow states to build their own independent electricity power stations and distribute to its citizens becos a situation whereby a sub-station is located in state - A and supplies power to state -B and other states and if the power station in state -A is faulty, it will bring total black out to other dependant states so this situation should be discouraged. Lastly, apart from roads, there are lots of other economic activity the federal government should hands off to the states to enable better economic competition among the states and also make all those lazy and Abuja-dependent state governors stand on their feet. |
What is buhari and his APC barons turning this country to? So it has become a crime to impeach a sitting governor whereby the DSS is now a weapon in the hands of the APC governments at all levels to hunt real and perceived enemies. The country is in shambles today becos of the APC insensitivity and drunk for power at all means, thus this is the change they promised. |

I want to ask u, did Johnathan. arrest any APC member or send dem to exile for I sults received from them? In as much as I respect Bihari, he should remember DAT we are in a democratic dispensation and not military rule, and he should learn to respect d views of people, so buhari and APC should expect more rhetorical bombardment from Fayose and other nigerians alike as apc did to. Johnathan becos what goes around comes round. |

This sector alone can fetch us more foreign xchange dan oil. may God save dis country |
