Valverde is going to be the first coach to win Champions league without knowing anything about coaching
Some Barca fans just don't like him because he doesn't play the Barca way.
Dude is a great tactician. I feel like Unai Emery - he tends to set up his team based on the opponents instead of playing his way. This isn't always a bad thing but Barca is a big club. It's why he's seen as underwhelming at times.

I used to be a Pan-Africanist before I came to Nairaland where I have never seen so many self-loathing, white worshiping people in my life. It's best that we black Americans take care of our business and you guys handle your own as well, which means stay over there and stop running here and everywhere else in search of refuge. Make improvements to Nigeria so that your future generations can live a better life in their God-given land. Stop letting the Chinese, Indians, and neanderthals take over your country.

It is such a disgrace to all Africans in the continent and the diaspora that Nigeria has made a freaking Chinese a chief. What kind of sell-out culture is this? Some of your people are disgusting. undecided
Oh come on Khia - are you going to let a few ignorant morons change the way you think?
Oh well...this phase will hopefully pass.

De ligt 60% loading for barcelona

I hope david neres and ziyech goes for nothing less than 80 million, especially david neres, make ajax no reduce money as far as na english clubs
Ziyech has a 25m buyout clause.

Neres is overrated on the ball. Dude couldn't beat Trippier who is horrible in one on one even once. He has end product I'll give him that...not too incisive. Wouldn't pay 50m for him.

The real G is my man Van de Beek. Dude is so underrated - forget the goal - he's intelligent and is superb off the ball.
Arsenal should get him, Ziyech and their left back.

Ha-ha-ha, khiaa! We, men, have a preference to our type of a woman. And in all the world men mostly like them white and blonde, some may like them slim, some like them chubby, young or old but blonde white pretty women leave black women well behind and you know it.
And the black man with the white blonde is a perfect match. Once we taste each other, it's a perfect preference.
Speak for yourself...

Yes, Pep suppresses individual brilliance but it also aids in matured team work in the players. At such, they become better players working towards a common goal than players playing to the gallery.

That knowledge improves the players tactical acumen, which in turn makes the player more efficient.
True but some players require that freedom. I think it's one of the reasons Mahrez isn't doing well.
It's sort of similar to Van Gaal. Both like working with young players too.

Very tough choice but I say he goes to City and work with Guardiola. There would be a lot of competition there but his tactical acumen will improve greatly and his work rate will be phenomenal.

Also, it was Guardiola's former team mate, Emmanuel Amunike who discovered him. So Chukwueze has already played with similar ideas tactically. Coupled with coming from Spain where the tactics are similar. City to me is the best choice for him.
Honestly I'm starting to think Pep suppresses individual brilliance in players. He turns them all to system players and they don't get the necessary freedom some require to thrive.
He might be good for Samu at this young age to get the fundamentals right - but I'll prefer he plays under a manager like Klopp.
He's better off in Villarreal sef if we're being honest.

- Alhassan Yusuf
- Hamdi Akujobi
- Kingsley Michael
- Tom Dele Bashiru
- Nnamdi Ofoborh
- Miracle Nwaorisa
Heard this Nwaorisa guy just got signed by Sampdoria from Latvia.
Samp are known for unearthing gems so he must be talented.

There is still hope for top 4

If you can't spend big you can't compete for the Epl
Bros forget Emery dey frustrating. The guy get mid table mentality.
The guy insisted on bringing D Suarez despite Sven(our former chief scout) having reservations about him. All the guy wants is players like Banega, Nzonzi, etc.
He'll probably win europa league but he's not a long term option imo.

As an Arsenal fan, we shouldn't be in Top 4. It would be an affront to English football. Top 4 should only be reserved for the best.
Gazidis destroyed the club and left. Appointing Emery was all I needed to see the direction the club is heading in.
All Emery fanboys will see his true colors next season.

Ndidi has a powerful shot all he needs to do is to improve his aiming and technique

He can't be world class if all he does is tackle
For me he needs to improve on his passing especially the short ones. If his passing is up to scratch - then he'll be super elite.

Brendan Rodgers hails ‘very impressive’ Leicester star - ‘He covers the ground so fast’

BRENDAN RODGERS says Wilfred Ndidi is the sniffer dog operating in the shadows of Leicester's big name stars.

By Dave Armitage

06.04, 18 Apr 2019

While the likes of Jamie Vardy, Harry Maguire and James Maddison hog the headlines, Rodgers says Nigerian international Ndidi is a man he could build a team around.

The 22-year-old is starting to look a bargain at the £14m The Foxes forked out for him from Belgian outfit Genk.

Leicester's boss says while Ndidi's role role might go unnoticed by some, he's valued by those who play alongside him.

Rodgers said: “He's been very impressive. He covers the ground so fast. His anticipation is very good and he reads the game.

“He smells the danger, and then for Youri Tielemans and James and for other attacking midfield players, to have that type of player in there it’s very important.

“I always have that sort of player - a clear, controlling player in the game. Sometimes they’re a defensive type like him that can really press the game and play simple, or sometimes it’s a more creative player, a playmaker from behind.”

Rodgers adds: “He’s got so much talent. Looking at his numbers he’s up there with having played the most games this season, with Kasper Schmeichel.

“All we try to do is make it clear what his function is in the team. It’s a job that may seem a simple job but he does it so effectively.

“He has to win the ball and give it, simple as that. I tell him he doesn’t need to be in the box shooting, that’s not his job.

“Just look after the other two boys in front of you, and just control the space in front of the centre-halves and he does that so, so well
.

“We’re trying to improve him in that position because you’re going to be on the ball a lot. You’ve got to serve it, serve it over 10 or 15 metres.”

Thoughts?? Do you agree with Rodgers view or should he be pushing Ndidi to improve other parts of his game?
