alekside: That was why Son was delayed from going to the Asian games. These people think being a world class player is all about dribbling unnecessarily. They haven't really watched the guy sef. Zaha goes to spuds and he definitely won't bench Son |

Carried indeed He has scoring and assisting. He was also thier best player doing that stretch of games. 11 goals and 5 assists in 24 games in which just 18 were starts |

BascoVanVeli: Oga the spurs let Son go to Asia when Kane was hurt. The Spurs are about Pochettino not any single player. So Pochettino would've kept him back from a competition in the Fifa calendar to prove he's important? Na wa oo. |

BascoVanVeli: Dwelling on the ball? Did you see the Troy Deeney article? Teams take turns kicking him because they know referees will do nothing.
Can Son carry his own team? Take Son out of his team they keep winning but it is a proven fact that crystal palace can't win without Wilf. Son carried that Spuds attack when Kane was out. Watch his performance against BVB..dude played as a 9 sef. Son is a better player than Zaha. This one isn't up for debate. |

komekn: What's LVG?
I really don't get what you are talking about please explain in simplistic terms for me.
The only Mane I know is at Liverpool so l am confused. Lool Louis Van Gaal. He wanted Mane when he was at Southampton. |

O pari True but his end product is barely at the level to put him on Mane, Neymar level like Earthquake did. |

komekn: I understand that Moyes hated him with a passion and totally relegated him to the dumps and gave zero time.
These are totally unsubstantiated rumours but it was said that Zaha was playing Maradona with Lauren Moyes the daughter of David Moyes. The Father dud not like that " AT ALL"
Instead of breaking into the first team he was breaking into something else.. But these are RUMOURS. Yeah I heard that too but LVG didn't deem it necessary to keep him. The fact that LVG pushed so hard for Mane when he was around says it all. |

BascoVanVeli: Son can't get past his markers like Zaha. If English refs were fair he would win at least 3 pens and a red card per match. They refuse to protect him in the EPL. Son wouldn't be able to withstand the type of treatment Zaha receives. Zaha like Wilshere is on the receiving end of such tackles because he dwells too much on the ball. I'm not sure you've been watching Son this season. Son can beat his man, come short, run in behind and of course has the end product to back it all up. I do agree Zaha should be protected a bit more sha. |

Icon79: Wow! Or shall we say interesting.
The point is, Zaha has always played with inferior teams/team mates. Take him to Liverpool and ManCity, then you can compare the two.
O pari Zaha played for Manure and couldn't break into their first team. |

komekn: I am very biased towards flair and skilful play Sana can not match Zaha for sheer skill, Zaha is the quintessential " BALLER " I get you..fair enough. Sane chooses to be direct. If Zaha moved to City, I don't he'd still be pulling off those skill moves. It's all in the setup |

Icon79: Raheem Sterling is definitely having a good season, but I have never rated him as a player. I will take Wilfred Zaha over him anytime any day! Sane is extremely talented but, right now, I will still rate Zaha above him. Having said that, if Sane keeps improving, in 2 years time he would be one of the best footballers on the planet.
O pari Zaha has never been better than Sterling at any point in his career. |

komekn: I disagree, all that happens is that Zaha will have to follow the strict discipline of Guardiola and his rigid but very effective style.
On the other hand he may not want to play that kind of expressionless individual football. I haven't seen Zaha do anything that Sane can't do. The only top 5 club Zaha gets into is Arsenal. |

Icon79: Personally, I will rank him after Neymar, Mbappe, and Mane. Zaha just doesn't get the credit he deserves because he plays for Crystal Palace coupled with the fact that he's African. The dude is wickedly talented.
O pari He's not better than Sterling and Sane. Zaha is talented but let's not overhype the guy because Palace values him at 90m. |

Disappointed with the U23 result. I wonder why Imama didn't park the bus after going a man down. A one goal deficit would've been easier to overturn. I agree with the idea of sending the likes Utin, Awaziem, Onyekuru, etc to help out. |

BascoVanVeli: You also know that all that was the handy work a disgruntled agent. Tell the whole story. Why then did he get the deal to Zurich even though it was in the last minute? He should be playing in Nigeria today if all that is true. Because of Rohr?? Besides the two ages on his passports were 19 and 22. |

BascoVanVeli: Sorry but Odey has played over 30 matches also took his team out of the group stage of the Europa league. He has been consistently in the lineup. He more than deserves a call.
There was absolutely nothing proven about his age so why are u even bringing that up. This lad is the poster boy for the principal cup so how will he come and falsify his age? Odey had two passports with two different ages did he not?? Although I think it's a bit unfair since Rohr vouched for him and helped him get the visa - I'm glad Imama is taking no chances(if it's true). Besides, Odey should be getting a look in with SE instead. |

micah1122: Bordeaux winger Samuel Kalu will miss Nigeria ’ s next two games due to injury , the Nigeria Football Federation ( NFF ) said on Friday. The Super Eagles play the Seychelles in their last Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on March 22 then take on Egypt in a friendly four days later . Nigeria are top of Group E on 10 points ahead of South Africa on 9, Libya on 7 and Seychelles on 1pt, with this weekend’ s match concluding the preliminary group round . Both matches are due to be played in the southern city of Asaba . Team spokesman Toyin Ibitoye said youth team captain Ikouwem Udoh , 19, would replace 21-year - old Kalu , whose mother was recently kidnapped and held for a week until a ransom was paid . Udoh , who plays for club side Enyimba , is a left -back who has played for Nigeria ’ s home -based team, which lost in the final of last year’ s African Nations Championship to Morocco. Nigeria coach Gernot Rohr has said he is keen to get more left -sided players into the squad in the run- up to the AFCON tournament in June . Why replace him with a full back?? Is Rohr not aware of our lack of AMs?? |

Icon79: True. But I don't think that he was given enough opportunities to adjust to the new team. First the entire team was playing bad at the beginning of that season, but only VicMo lost his starting spot ... the rest were given ample chances. Granted that he bought VicMo but I still don't think he was patient enough to let him adjust to the new system of play.
That didn't surprise me though because that's what happens to the African guy, once you play bad then you're off. The same thing is happening to Kelechi at Leicester.
O pari I think he implied Vic Moses wasn't doing enough in training or something. |

TheGoodJoe: I think Rodgers was saying Nacho played in a system that favored two attackers with Nacho playing as a secondary striker. At such, he got the opportunities to have game time to show his quality but in the system he met at Leicester City, the focus of the system was on Vardy and as such, Nacho did not get room to show his quality. Leicester played with a 4-4-2 when Nacho arrived. Let's not forget in his last season at city - Pep hardly played with a 4-4-2 so I don't understand what he's implying. |
