Eto outshone Henry throughout their time in barca. Only Dinho had a bigger impact than Eto during that period of time. |

Actually Ronaldinho was who made Barca a great team again. Messi is obviously the greatest player of all time but Dinho's impact was larger for me. Before he came in, barca was trophyless for a while. |

TheGoodJoe: For a player to be tagged World Class, the player has to be performing at the highest level for at least 10 years.
Most of this players tagged World Class are top quality players, not World class.
Even Van Dijk isn't. He is a top quality player. If he continues with this form for at least a decade, then we can tag him and the others World class.
Xavi, Iniesta, Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Xabi Alonso, Ribery, Robben etc. Players who dominated the game for a decade or more. That is playing at the highest level for a long time.
With this, Aubameyang and the others are not World Class players. Certainly, top quality. Van Dijk is world class. Kaka wasn't consistent for 10 years yet he was viewed as WC in his prime. You can be world class and not have longevity. |

wayodude: What is the meaning of world-class?
By my definition no Nigerian player is world-class.
Salah is world-class Mane is world-class Those are the only African world-class players in my book.
Aubemeyang is not world-class Koulibaly is not world-class They are the other Africans closest to being world class but not quite there yet. If Koulibaly is not world class, then all the CBs in epl barring Van Dijk are not world class |

Nigeria is a cursed country anyway. It didn't start with Buhari and won't end when he leaves. We need to fix our tattered image abroad. For every good thing we do abroad, we her 2/3 crimes committed by us. The citizens need reorientation. Time to stop accepting bullshit as the norm. |

TheGoodJoe: Bench does not kill players as long as the players are working hard to keep improving on the training ground.
Soyuncu has been on the Leicester City bench for five months. Rodgers gave him a nod yesterday and he had an outstanding game.
So players should focus on improving than looking for game time in mediocre systems.
Out. Soyuncu is a gem. Nice to see him playing again. One of the best young CBs around. |

I think black american women should start exploring love and spouses out of their black commuinity, south african hardworking women are already dumping their less ambitious others rather than get drag into having baby daddies and spouses behind bars.
I can bet my last cent that if the dm dude gets to US he might just become a top professional after graduation.
it's even in the traits of some African Ancestral tribe for women to be extremely good at multi tasking, and been hardworking while some of their men booze all day
. Why should they explore outside of their black community?? Going by your logic - they might as well go to heaven and marry angles since black women are the most educated in America. I don't believe this nonsense that a group of people that gave us your Malcolm X, Thurgood Marshall, MLK, Bayard Rustin are "useless" or whatever because the media focuses on the negative aspect of them. You can see the hypocrisy in the way they're dealing with this Opioid epidemic compared to the crack era where blacks where blamed and told to lift themselves by the boot straps. |

AkataWoman: Awww...So sweet to see you speak of your aunties in that way.
One Nigerian guy told me that he was amazed at the lengths we go through to learn about their culture and what makes them happy. He was shocked that his BA girlfriend went on youtube to learn about his culture and how to make a few of his favorite Nigerian dishes. I was thinking 'Okaaaayyy...How is that a surprise to you? ANY woman would do that for her man, but okay. Glad you're easily impressed." Apparently, the BAs he dated were the only ones who did that. (Then again, many of us are about reconnecting with our roots anyway.)
And I don't mind the word akata, as I know it to be an innocuous term for African-American. Oh cool. Just asking as the tension between ADOS and black african/Caribbean immigrants is starting to get crazy (at least on social media) and one of the things mentioned is how nigerians call them akata. |

andrew444: Hope you know zaha is playing for crystal palace which is a small club?
Yes i know mane is better than zaha but that doesnt mean zaha is not world class
How many assist has mane even gotten this season? No b only 1 assist?
Zaha has created more chances than mane this season na
Mane played for Southampton which is a small club before he moved to liverpool, there is nothing mane did at Southampton that zaha has not done at crystal palace.
Zaha will shine for any epl big club, he was never given a chance by man united, he was signed and he played only 2 game then he was shipped out on loan, i am saying this before some people go come call am man u flop.
Dont berate zaha
finally
MANE IS A BETTER PLAYER THAN ZAHA
But if we see truth make we talk sha I'm not berating Zaha. I'm just saying he isn't elite. I've already said he's a very good player but I just don't think he's better than Mane and Son. |

Anyways I have aunties that are black americans and they are superb wives. They all learnt everything about the Igbo culture(two of them speak Igbo almost flawlessly). It all boils down to these nonsense of making lazy stereotypes on a race based on the actions of a few. |

Earthquake2: He is playing on the wings like Mane so no point about focal point
The fact that he has 10 pks + 8 goals in a Crystal Palace side means that he is working harder and a bigger goal threat than Mane No at Crystal Palace he'll get the ball more than he would at a top 6 team. He is the focal point/main man in Crystal palace. |

What were you talking about world class again? By taking Pks?? How many chances has he created? You are aware that unlike Mane, he is the focal point of his team? How many Pks have Mane won that he didn't take too? Zaha is great player but not elite. It's not like he'll go to Spurs/City/Liverpool/Manure and become the focal point. |

charlesemeka85: And I doubt if you made out time to follow the progress the duo of igbekeme and zubairu have made for the past 2 seasons. Zubairu is a diminutive box to box midfielder, with a lot of energy and good range of passes. No need to argue with you because you don't follow his exploits during the Europa league qualifiers and group stages. Igbekeme on his on path have been a revelation is the Spanish 2nd tier and have caught the eyes of few La Liga teams who intend to sign him in the summer and mind you he just joined Zaragoza from the Portuguese 2nd tier.
If azubuike is good as hype in this forum he would have atleast been an integral part of the current super eagles set and as well would have caught rohr's eyes at the last Olympics where the likes of Imoh and a few others who performed well were at aleast given a chance to train with the senior national team.
Your azubuike can only smell the super eagles if his fortune changes by performing better than the midfielders in our disposal or siasia and his likes are hired to take over the team Azubuike did well at the Olympics. I agree with inviting Igbekeme and Zubairu. |

Where were the calls for Chuks to be included in the senior team before the barca match?
Fans can be overly emotional sometimes. Let us see what this guy can do at the U-20 level first. While I'm not disparaging his talent, the fact is that this guy is not Mbappe. He still has a lot to learn and the U-20 is a good point to start. People have been clamoring for Samu to be invited to SE since last year. This guy has 7 goals and 3 assists in 29 games in his first season as a pro. So this isn't a one game thing. He is not Mbappe but his competition in SE aren't Salah or Neymar. |

forgiveness: I think Ahmed, Kalu and Simon are the ones competing for the LW because Samu and Kalu are RWs. Though I noticed Rohr tried Ahmed Musa and Onyekuru on the RW. True but Onyekuru like Musa is a wide forward unlike Samu, Simon and Kalu who are wingers. Different roles. Unless Rohr is content with taking just Musa as a wide forward. |

Onyekuru is not getting dropped for Samu. They have different profiles. Samu will be competing with Moses Simon and Samuel Kalu for a place. I'd prefer if Samu played at the Afcon. Let's not act like the gap in quality between Simon, Kalu and Samu is that large (if any sef tbh). If Samu is playing for the U20, it'll be/should be because Rohr is doing that fraud of a coach called Aigbogun a favor. |
