Onyekuru should be coming on instead of Musa. Need to see how he'd combine with Iwobi. Need to see Kayode as well |

goldfish80: Minus his blunder, we don't have the right personnel to play this formation. This team desperately needs an outlet down the wings. Kayode or Henry should have started. Exactly. Mikel should be playing in midfield alongside Ndidi while Onyekuru plays as one of the attackers. |

Ebuehi would make a good wing back. I hope Rohr gives him a run out today. Our attacking options look underwhelming tbh. Mikel should've been tried as part of the midfield 2 while someone like Onyekuru takes his place upfront (assuming it's a 3-4-3). |

SerVik: He is in search of a goal, he doesn't need an extra man at the back. Maybe 3-4-3, but then again he wanted to accommodate 2 point men. What I don't understand is why he left belotti on the bench Left Belotti and Insigne on the bench. The guy is a clown. |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by edi287: 10:16pm On Nov 13, 2017 |
SerVik: Watching the Italy versus Sweden game. Italy playing with 3 5 2.
Do we have the resources to play with 3 at the back? Italy have been effective so far, the 3 defenders(chiellini, barzagli and bunocci) are very good with the ball on their feet. They have been creating chances right from the back. The wing backs(darmain and candreva) have also been decent.
Chairmen Don carry light. Mtcheew Ventura na proper imbe. He should be playing 4-3-3 with the players they have. |

Mujtahida: The team is really a team. Bunch of jolly good fellows. I read ANS report of Argentinian legend Mario Kempes complaining that there's no camaraderie in their team. Aguero confirmed it in an oblique way when he said this “There are a lot of new players and it’s hard to get to know each other. I remember that we understood each other quite well.” as reported on Completesportsnigeria.com.
With unity, much can be achieved. Yep. I can understand why some will be against bringing back the likes of Enyeama and Uche who(right or wrong) are seen as disruptive and bad for team spirit. |

forgiveness: I do not like the Ebuehi looks in that picture. Looks like one who has been neglected. Rohr should have played him against Algeria. I am still pained about it because I do not like players ignored even when it is glaring they have something to offer. He looks like the quiet type. Just saw him on Iwobi IG live; he was laughing and recording the other guys sing. I like the team spirit in camp...it's great to see. |

jstbeinhonest: Forget the name! Asides Moses, I guess no other key player is missing for us. Argentina without Messi is worse than Bolivia. Talk more an Argentina without DiMaria, Mascherano, Romero n co.
See Argentina's lineup for training today (and most possibly for the game on Tuesday).
Marchesin Mammana Fazio Insua Pavon Banega Parades Papu Gomes Perotti Dybala Beneditto.
If we use our strongest available team (which i suspect would happen), we should defeat this team by AT LEAST a 2-goal margin. How we could do with a Paredes in our team. Papu Gomez would make our first 11 easy. |

aodis: Can't wait for Brian idowu's initiation ceremony to the super eagles . And this guy Noah Joel Bazee will add a stiff competition in the midfield. I think we have a stronger team than the one we had to Brazil 2014. I honestly can't wait to see Bazee play for us. If he can stay fit, he might just sneak into our squad. Musa really needs to step up or like play like play he'll miss russia. |

Daejoyoung: If joel obi plays, Onazi can still play just ahead of the defenders in a defensive midfield role, but then we have Ndidi as well, so the best option would be to reserve joel obi on the bench as a replacement for Mickel in that attacking midfield role. J Obi is a b2b midfielder. He HAS to replace one of Onazi or Ndidi while Mikel plays as an AM. |

Also apart from Mikel and maybe a makeshift Iwobi, who can play the creative/attacking midfielding position for us currently in camp? We are clearly lacking creativity. We need more creative players. |
