We call the mandazi 'sambusa' here. We make it here too, but seems like the ones you shared are more delicious

Most of the time, Amharas look like Oromos and sometimes, they also look Tigre. But Oromos don't look Tiger.

Many people get confused with the look of Somali and Ethiopian, I just don't know how.

I can say all Ethiopian knows who is Ethiopian and Somali. But it's very hard to tell who is Ethiopian or Eritrean. . . it's very difficult. I knew few of my friends were Eritrean after like four years

I have heard many people say there are Syrians begging for money in bole district in Addis Ababa. . . but then I thought that I was the one mistaken. I thought I have heard it incorrect. . . .

Few minutes before, I just saw a Syrian around my area asking for money telling he is from Syria. He was sitting on the floor with Amharic statement so people could understand him.

I was so shocked and very angry looking at him. Never would I thought Syrians could come to us and ask for help. Never have I thought they would come to Ethiopia in such a condition.

Note- Don't call eachother poor and starved. It is pretty obvious that every African country is poor actually. But never act like tommorow isn't going to happen to you. We can't even talk about how we are today, we can only tell about our past and present. Don't rely on your economy or your leader. . . you have no idea what might come and blow all your hopes. Only God is the only one you could trust. REMEMBER

When they ask you which tribe you are and when you tell em that you are Amhara

They ask you then if you are wollo Amhara, Gojam Amhara, Shoa Amhara, Gondar Amhara. . .

Then if you tell em that you are Shoa, they ask you if you are from the north or south Shia

This is the ultimate division!


If this type of division won't stop. . . civil war will happen between every 100million people

Honestly Ethiopia need to resolve it's hatred of Tigrays.Its kinda of Rwanda.The average Ethiopian wants genocide or secession from Tigrays.Its nothing like you have in Nigeria with Igbo or Kenya nascent tribalism.Its deep.Its Burundi and Rwanda type genocidal feeling.Tigrays are like the historic colonizers...the Noble men alien to Ethiopia and yet sitting on the majority with impunity.

Mengistu was a socialist who support little gap between rich and poor. Eritrea wanted to split so he started taking people to the battle field due to shortage of militants. He did torture people and made very scary actions. . . It is sad he did that but this happened because he was extremely patriotic. He thought Ethiopia would be bigger in his plans, so he tortured the ones who are against his plans. This man wasn't corruptive at all. He never used his people to divide Ethiopia but Meles did.

Mengistu did everything front. Everyone knows what he does. Meles keeps killing people and hide the truth.

Did you know that there were many illegal prisions found in Ethiopia?

Did you know that the prisioners were attacked homosexualy

Did you know that some were thrown naked in the ditches full of ants?

Did you know that some were imprisoned in places with no light which made them literally blind?

Did you know that some were thrown naked in the forest so animals could eat them??

These and many things happen to those who were fighting for truth. All happened with the team Meles. . ..There are many disgusting things I haven't mentioned beacuse it is hard to talk about it. This didn't happen 100 years ago. This use to happen until Abiy came to power. IMAGINE

There was no tribal conflict during Mengistu regime.

We have a bank here where only people from a single tribe is hired. Our Church itself is governed with the same tribe from top to bottom.

We have our tribe written in our ID so that we can't go wherever and work. Our Orthodox church main governer just said our church is under control of 'some people'. He just mentioned that that that the church is now colonized and have lost its power. Our prime minister on the other side is saying Ethiopia have been messed up by 'some people'.

THESE SOME PEOPLE are making our country a living hell
