Kazikazi:Read that again. I also became a member of this forum to defend my country. After years, I came to realize it's tiresome. When I see people saying wrong things about my country, I correct them in simple words. I haven't mentioned any nationality in my post. I haven't said Kenyan or Namibian. Who said Kenyans are perfect? None of us are and will be |
tlann:Thank you for understanding |
Kazikazi:okay. But why does it matter what they say about you? Actions speak more than words. Sometimes we debate for our country because we fear the words people say about us is going to lower the respect we have. . . . just imagine how a person could get respected by saying this and that? By disrespecting others? If someone keeps saying they are the best criticising others, people aren't going to hear his words but his personality |
tlann:I fear China. What is the destination of Africa? It just bugs me how we have changed. Ancient Ethiopian Architecture was speechless. We don't know when we have lost it. For example, Lalibela churches were built by Ethiopians themselves but still it is a miracle how it was constructed. No one knows how they acheived that. when you come and see the construction made by Ethiopians today in Ethiopia, you won't beleive the same nation who did that did this. Even interesting architecture existed in West Africa, Mali. I don't know when we lost it all. If we all had moved the same pace we were moving as in the past, we wouldn't have been here today. How correct and leading is our curriculum? How literate is our system making us? Africa is ruined all way. . . .What you think is the next generation like? How sure are we to tell things are going to get better? |
Jonraid:Good answer! I hope you are right. |
Kazikazi:Let's all be honest here. All of us aren't doing the right thing. We need to talk or discuss properly rather than pointing finger on each other. If some one says something wrong, we need to ask him vital questions to bring him to our point. . . not laughing at eachother. It wasn't necessary laughing on your Kenyan brothers being attacked by their policemen. I know how mad you are at them because you haven't exchanged nice words with them. But still, |
tlann:Do the analogy, the AU thing may be happening to all of us the other way round. Chinesse hand is on every project that is being made in Africa. How confident does it make us talking about the mega projects made by China? Because, 1. We didn't made it, Chinese did 2. It is unclear how the Chinese negotiated to construct many projects with their expense How much do we understand that we are strengthening the power of China while weakening our people? African nations aren't being given chance to have an experience in construction in their own country. If they couldn't build in their country, where could they? Our government keep giving the Chinese the chance by blocking its own nation opportunity. Today, Africa is feeding the other population of China. While it's own nation is hungry. Is this not true? And what do we discuss here? THE LOOK OF OUR CITIES. |
tlann:Thanks, but why did you even mention about insult in the first place?? Anyways, I would really love if you answered the three questions I have raised previously. 'The beautiful questions' |
Jonraid:Yes, you have answered the 'democracy' part. But I wanted to know how ready your military is to tackle al-shabaab. Also, does it not scare you that China is being way way close to Kenyan government? Because what do you know? Chinese or any white people won't help a country out for no reason. They give you bronze in exchange of Diamond. What if your government is secretly giving China what they need? Why do you think Kenya today became the focus of China more than any other African country? Even the African union; which was fully funded by China had secret hidden. They have been recording (hacking) all what was going on in there. I wanted you to guess on that, am not asking proof or anything. . . . . . thanks |
I think the past leadership of Ethiopia shall teach us many things (before PM Abiy). They used to tell us how Ethiopia is growing, how Ethiopia is moving and how our economy is getting high. We trusted them and we were happy because that is all we see on the outside. We didn't dig the inside. If they didn't do well on the out side (economy), they knew they wouldn't survive to get the power for long. But they made bad things on us. They have been changing our mind and created fear and haterd between us (the nations). Economy is not permanent, rather temporary. The big wealth of a country is its nations. Unless Africa has people who are educated and conscious, we can't say any good about us. Economy is fooling us. South Africa, with the second biggest economy is also told as one of the most developed country in Africa. But xenophobic attack still happen there. If economy has the power to change everything, why and how did that happen? I don't know which African country qualifies to have enough nations with conscious mind. Personally, I don't think no one has to debate on economy. Kenya could be the number one in East Africa (in economy), and Ethiopia could be the last. We could have the worst economy in the world, I don't mind because unless our nations aren't strong enough. . . .the economy could crack any time. |
MtuMsuper:How long has Uhuru Kenyatta been on power? |
TayserMahri:You are right, I don't know how I read it the first time. . . |
Jonraid:I wanted you to convince me, how could I know other than asking Kenyan. I also just said 'people said', not 'i beleive'. But I gotta tell ya, that I also heard it from my dad's friend who was there few months ago. He also mentioned to me that he was extremely amazed on how Kenya has worked on tourism and that Ethiopia is way behind on that sector (compared to Kenya). Secondly, what about the other questions? Why am I not seeing any Kenyan answering my questions? |
It's shameful that many of us fight here or have a debate on who's country is more successful. Many of us here measured our achievement by the capability of having the Chinese build our places. This is sad, when is ever Africa going to grow to say that we did it all ![]() |
TayserMahri:BOTH. |
TayserMahri:I don't feel well with your expression. |
Beautiful question for Kenyans, Why do I hear many people say the richest ones in your country are Indians and Chinese? Why do I hear many people say your culture is falling on Chinese people for example, Chinesse language is taken in your university? How democratic is Kenya? There's been problems last year in election and stuff. . .why that happened? How strong is your military? how ready is it to tackle al-shabaab in your own country? and Hi, |
TayserMahri:. . . . ? |
gallivant:Are you sure? Cuz that isn't true. We have few not ONE. |
Ethiopia is a very important country in the world. Many Africans don't realize how Ethiopia is important because they only see a poor underdeveloped country. Because we weren't colonized, it don't mean Europeans didn't try to weaken us. Ethiopia is a country with many secrets, the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahdo Church has a lot of it. As an Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahdo religion beleiver, so many things surprise me how we are. |
musicwriter:Occupancy is the first step to colonize but you may not be able to make it. Your statement is answering |
musicwriter:Occupied not colonised FULL STOP |
martyns303:Ethiopians had ruled Egypt, their names are written in the pyramid. |
Role of a president isn't much here in Ethiopia. But I have no doubt she is going to succeed. Ethiopian women success starts even way before our Empress Taitu; who have played a major role on Ethio-Italy war. Which is one of the reason why Ethiopia isn't colonized. Wishing her luck! |

. |
kikuyu1:I am not mad because she is a women. I am being very suspicious of what is going on in Ethiopia. I heard our new president's speech and she is great. But in Ethiopia, a president don't handle many things. I have a doubt that some of the ministers (women) don't fit at their new position because they aren't fit for that. Not because they are women. I am mad because we didn't have a mayor named Dagmawit. Every one wanted her so bad to become Addis Ababa mayor. They changed her and made her a Minster of something. I still didn't understand Abiy. How many women ministers you have in Kenya? @kazikazi, in Tanzania too? |
mtisTheQubit:Tbh, I am not happy. I wanna know what our PM is upto |
TayserMahiri:I get what you were saying, was just makin fun of you |
Dear Kenyan nairalanders, stop acting like this. Let us stop treating each other as enemies. I know you are going to tell me that you aren't taking things seriously but you actually are. I had to quote you guys to stop arguing because I know you more on naialand and I know you aren't the type of people who are annoying. It really shocked me how you treated Kazikazi. You thought I was siding with Tanzania because I quoted you more than him to stop arguing. You didn't know that I did it because i felt easier talking to you. I am not making this up. When I was doing that, you started taking me as your enemy. I am not siding with either of you. Take my statement as you want to but this is what it is. I have used inappropriate words here because I was disappointed enji I never saw any Kenyan as an enemy and Kenya is still one of my favorite countries in Africa, so is Tanzania. There is nothing you can do to to change that. Peace and love y'all |
TayserMahiri:mini piwi Kochi rishi tishi! hehehehehe |
TayserMahiri:ooh. . . I thought I was in African union. . . I accidentally entered room C have that speech.! So tell me what your program is about Monday - post Kenya's airport Tuesday - post Nairobi Wednesday - Quoting ednited Thursday - posting emojis . . . . Your program is a master piece. Send it to Africa union, it will help a lot kikikikikikiki, oh Tayser, you've just changed so much lol |
