We all thought that opening up is always the option. But can anyone convince me why we still need foreign??

Have you realized that U.S.A is making plans on how to hand Africa from China??

We are still modern slaves. U.S.A is trying to show support to African countries so they could turn their back to China. And also to became our new modern colonizer

Example- Abiy Ahmed is really smart, he has been collecting leaders on his side and opened up telecom, electric company and Airlines to foreign investors because he also knows U.S.A is going to help him out.

U.S.A is trying to take over China not beacuse they care of how Africa is being hurt by China but beacuse their economy is hurt due to China presence in Africa.


How do you guys take that? Rather than debating on who's country is better than whose, this is what we need to talk about.

Is China or U.S.A the biggest enemy of Africa? Do you think Africa will suffer more problem under U.S.A??

The bank issue have made it hard for e-commerce too.


I don't think we don't have the ability to make succesful banks, the problem happened beacuse it wasn't reaching good target.

It had trouble few years ago, had to be bailed out and strategic management sort.KQ was Africa most successful private airline.ET is public co with govt largesse like those middle East airlines.We are responding by handing KQ our major airport so prepare for arse kicking soon.ET goes for cheap..KQ goes for premium services.

Compare Airlines with Airlines. How is Nigerian Airways doing in the ground down? Kenya Airways had a rough batch mostly due to bad bet on oil futures - but for a long time it was the most profitable Airline in Africa (if not the world). Which is why when it hit turbulences - her creditors and kenya gov - had no problem stepping in.

Kenya Airways - The Pride of Africa - will soon return to profitability as it soars high. It SSA competitors have had rough patches too - Ethiopia Airline had it's trouble - and right now South Africa Airways survival is doubtful.

CBE - commercial bank of Ethiopia is highly profitable and have the biggest customers

Zemen bank- the most advanced bank

Yes, we have Oromo orthodox Christians too, but the religion keeps you close to the habesha tradition. Amharas and Tigrays are the first to accept it and their tradition is exercised in the church. There are Muslim Amharas but I can say, 95% of the Tigray people are only Orthodox Tewahdo Christians.Did you know that the Tigray city Axum only has Orthodox Tewahdo church but not a single mosque?? Even Catholic and protestant Christians are not allowed to built their churches there. . . .


The Ethiopian and Eritrean Orthodox Tewahdo churches are similar, although it's hard to mention who follows who

The Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahdo church is the one which brought a big civilization in Ethiopia. We use our own Bible, with our own language. We have our own singing system which has been designed by the Ethiopian Saint Yared. We have our own Architecture too. The world haven't understood much about this religion. There are many secrets in the church.

Even I have heard some people say that 'ETHIOPIA' is not a Greek meaning but an Ethiopian. . .and it's meaning is secretly kept in the church.Today, the reason why Ethiopia has her own new year is because of this church too.

I feel very happy and proud to be a member of this religion and I want to dedicate myself on this. I want to work in the church when I get old.

It mainly affect the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahdo church, because the first member who decided this was the Tewahdo church. But still the Protestants and Catholic are following the tewahdo church on this.

I don't know why we celebrate separately but I believe our church is right. Many people criticize our time of celebting holidays. . .some ask why Ethiopia has to have her own new year. We are totally brain washed that we only think the white people are right. Don't get me wrong, but I trust my ancestors more than any one. The new year celebrated by the world is at the wrong time. The months are named by gods and even there was a reason why almost all Ethiopian months have 30 days. The last month in Ethiopia (Puagme), has 5 days and it will become 6 in each leap year. Puagme 7 will exist once in 600 years, and something will happen in that day (I forgot). I will try to read again more on that and also on the Christmas date. I was really convinced hearing our deacon explaining about all this.If you had known Amharic, I would have sent you the link

I am bad at remembering date . . .but I know we celebrate Christmas few days after you guys do.
