AutosRe: The mileage covered by this luxury Mercedes Benz will shock you!!! by ednut1(m): 1:31pm On Sep 08, 2023
onlinediva:
There is this Nigerian used Mercedes Benz GLE 450 coupe 2016 that I jammed while sourcing the model of a Nigerian used car for a client. It had 217,000 plus miles in 2022 when it was imported into Nigeria, and the way it was cleaned up and packaged makes it look like a car that has only covered less than 50,000 miles.

It is known that the average yearly miles usually covered by cars in the USA is 15,000 miles and that implies the vehicle shouldn't have more than 100,000 miles as of 2022, which makes it 6 years after it was manufactured.

What could have contributed to the high mileage covered?

Can you buy such a car?
owner could be from a state with large land mass or he regularly traveled interstate

Corrections:
Yes they pay. Can you also say that in those countries that people pay tax CORRUPTION is not brutally and effectively tamed? Don't you think it's the reason why people in those countries are encouraged to pay taxes?

Can the same be said of NIGERIA and other African countries?

You don't put the cart before the horse, the leaders can't be corrupt with nothing to tame their leakages and want people to be paying taxes.
they are not encouraged to pay taxes. You go to jail if you dont pay. In arab countries where they don’t pay much taxes they have small population compared to us with 200m
TravelRe: Why Do Most Nigeria Streets Look Like This? by ednut1(m): 9:19am On Sep 07, 2023
Corrections:
Please stop saying because people don't pay tax is the major cause for this. The billions that Nigeria generates from natural resources how have they the leaders been able to manage them? Is it right for some people to pay taxes only for some other in government to embezzle them and still go with little or no punishment?
in most developed countries that depend on resources people still pay taxes.
TravelRe: Why Do Most Nigeria Streets Look Like This? by ednut1(m): 12:49am On Sep 07, 2023
Because we cant afford to maintain them. People also dont pay taxes. Politicians also love people to be in poverty easy to buy votes.
