Animals in human skin. Buhari is so foolish that he cannot think of calming his people down. He will even make them do worse. If Bakare knows what is good for him, he should go and hide inside his house because they will start with him for his wild wild campaign.
My friend read that story again, BUHARI LOST RIGHT THERE IN THAT STATION IN KANO. Who voted jonathan, isn't it the kano people ?
There are at least 3 Northern candidates on the ballot today, so again, people shouting Allah Akbar before voting does not mean much to this discussion and this election. They could also be saying the same and voting ANPP, Or even ACN. People have a right to vote who they want.

I am not here to discuss his personality but his statement which I believe is on the mark. No ethnic groups should require their people vote one way or the other as it will definitely come back to hunt'em. We know this  . . . so why make the same mistakes over and over?? So, again, the man is right.
Whether he's right or not is not the question, he's darn biggest hypocrite for coming out to make that statement when we all know well what's happening around the country.
PEOPLE HERE WERE TOLD IN MOSQUES NOT TO VOTE FOR INFIDELS, SIMPLE. OHANEZE ARE SAYING DON'T VOTE FOR A SEMI-LITERATE ABOKI, SIMPLE.

The man is right  . . . . these Ibo leader's continue to shoot the chances of the Ibo nation by their utterances in this election, and the next by their utterances.
The Ali Mangoro is a fo.ol for saying that. Right now i'm in sokoto and the voters openly shout Allahu akbar before stamping their thumbs on CPC, what do you call tha1? Infact i will go as far as calling any South Eastern or South Southern voter who doesn't vote for Jonathan A FCKING BIG FOOL !

@oyb, i could post the pictures but just say i was being selective and not showing the real thing. There're PDP governors working but they don't go around putting up ads on CNN. The money states like Sokoto get is peanuts compared to SS states.
Politics › Re: User Names That Will Disappear After Tomorrows Election. by edoyad(m): 5:31pm On Apr 15, 2011
That is the sad truth. I schooled abroad and now that i' m in Nigeria, I am frequently disgusted and irked by  the common occurrences here. Frankly I don't plan on  staying much longer nor do i have any long term  interests, but I want the best for the country. My  tailor just made a fortune from sewing PDP campaign  clothes in my state alone (bought himself a toyota  4 x4 , house and everything), so I guess the money for  constructing good roads is better used for getting PDP workers 4 x4 s.
Poor boy. Irks you doesn't it ? A common tailor who's barely educated riding an SUV about town.
If your governor cannot lay roads down for you it's because he's useless and not cos he's PDP. Right now i'm in Sokoto state(a state that receives about 1/5 of what many states in Nigeria get) and believe me the roads here can rival what's in abuja. And guess what ? Gov. Magatakarda is a PDP man .

Buhari is a passionate and honest man, what he did is not shameful; many women i know wouldn't weep for Nigeria, that's how passionate he is about this country. On the other hand i think that this country has become too sophisticated for his likes, they were great but it's time for something new.

Info coming from these region indicate cpc overwhelming majority. Pdp is finished.am optimistic that the acn will do us proud in the SW. However our fear is in the SS and SE where the tsunami is yet to hit the tempo.
After all their noise, they have gone into oblivion. We warned them about emotions. They refused to listen. All their hopes have been dashed and their hearts broken! Reality is hitting them hard and it hurts so bad. Don't worry guys, we welcome you with open arms to the fresh air camp.
Lol, grin can't wait for saturday to have signed, stamped and sealed. 13volts might actually experience a surge to become 17volts.

Politics › Re: Sambo Says He Could Not Win His Ward Cos People Voted On Religious Sentiments by edoyad(m): 4:45am On Apr 14, 2011
@ekitibear that one's a bit tricky. The thing is there'v been many instances where muslims from other tribes have been slain during riots. That's why some people still argue that it's not just a religious thing, it's ethno-religious mixed with intolerance.

@OP like now a girl that is a Manchester United fan will not look somebody that is Real Madrid seriously. So if you want to meet someone, A Manchester girl must find someone in premiership that her club can identify with. Why will a barcelona boy start following a girl that is for example from an inferior league like German league, say Bayern ? It is not good

Nah, I was talking about the people in charge of the money; from Fashola down to whoever is the commissioner for education in Lagos State.

The priority ought to be to raise the standard of education from its dilapidated state. Doling out awoof money to ghost students in Nasarawa would not address the issue of quality that is now the bane of our tertiary institutions.
Forget what you said, these students are real and not ghost students. You'd be suprised how many of them would drop out of school without such aid. Infact compared to many states, what lagos gives is just stipends
Politics › Re: Sambo Says He Could Not Win His Ward Cos People Voted On Religious Sentiments by edoyad(m): 2:50am On Apr 14, 2011
^ Religion is not a devisive instrument in the SS, SE or SW; but immediately you cross the river Niger there is a world of difference there. The problem is historical and has to do with violence meted to christian dominated tribes  over the years in the name of religion. Now the area is so divided that a City like Kaduna is like Israel with the jews on one side and Arabs on the other. While you'll find a brewery in the southern half of kaduna City with clubs and all, the northern part of the City is the Islamic half. A christian coming into the state would be advised by his colleagues to rent his/her flat at the southern half where the rates could almost be twice what it is in the Islamic part.

About the beer consumption, well i passed through Zamfara over the weekend and i saw many of hausa chaps downing beer at Mess and Mammy market. Yes they do a bit of drinking but alcohol is usually only sold around military and para-military mess in sharia states.

Bintus2much:
This excuse of voting based on belief is the most unfortunate one I've heard in recent times. The Vice President should accept that he failed to deliver his state and not giving excuses. If the people made up their mind to vote for Buhari based on religious sentiments, then where did PDP get the votes in Sokoto, Kano, Jigawa, etc, which are predominantly muslim more than Kaduna?
Guy you won't understand this phenomenon if you don't reside in a divided area like kaduna. My brother did tell me the exact same thing last thursday evening while i was still in KD. He said a Ghanian muslim asked him why we were so bigoted in Nigeria cos of what he had heard muslim clerics preaching in mosques about the elections. The thing is, in a place like kaduna or plateau you can get muslims or christians to vote in one direction by just playing the religious card. If you noticed, the christian PDP senatorial candidate in southern kaduna, Esther Nenadi Usman won the with over 400,000 votes. Just wait and watch how overwhelmingly Jonathan will win southern kaduna and how woefully Buhari will perform there on saturday.
