13volts:Dude accept reality when you see it, Pauline won't get 15% of the votes in that states |
aletheia:Leave em, they don't know it's a game of numbers. Besides add Kano state to PDP where most of us had wrongly predicted it going to CPC. |
Wadeoye:Guy try and think critically for a minute here. How many seats have PDP got in the NASS inspite of not getting anything from the south- west ? I'll answer that for you, they're the majority in the NASS. Now put that fact into your calculations and get back to us. |
Lamps missed Chelsea's equaliser, game over. |
Lagosboy:Kano people are probably the most politically enigmatic people in this country. They can make or break a man in just a short period. When Kwankasao was defeated/disgraced 8 years ago, one would have thought he was finished in that state. Fast forward to 8 years later and they're bringing him back and at the same time rejecting the same people they used in upending him back then. |
Aunt Sylvia's mood immediately changed when she heard the question, she became sad. What followed,"son", aunt Sylvia said in a low tune, almost whispering; then she continued, "unfortunately immediately you were born your mother and i thought it best if we had your 'pair' snapped off.". Einstein stood there looking at her motionless, she noticed his stare and continued, "ah come on son, you know how your dad was with the ladies ? Your mum was one of his victims too if you don't know. We were just trying to make sure you didn't end up like him. Besides why do you think you grew up to be so tall and muscular ? " |
Sambo couldn't deliver even the polling booth in front of his family house to the PDP. The house of Reps and Senatorial seats in his constituency were won by the CPC. Jonathan sticking with Sambo would only be out of loyalty and not a political move. If Jonathan wins the northwest it wouldn't be because of Sambo but because of his Jonathan's own reputation. What this means is that Jonathan will win because HE is 'Jonathan' and not because of any alliance. |
The way some people are talking would give one the impression that PDP performed woefully. If anything there seems to have been a balancing out, returning to what we had in 99 with ACN and CPC taking the spots occupied by AD and ANPP. PDP is still the dominant force in Nigeria because the average man knows it's better to vote the PDP, centrally oriented, than these other bigots/extremists that can throw this country into a civil war. |
Andre Uweh:I think i agree with you, becomrich can reach one billion people more than musiwa. |
Though the journey isn't over yet, you seem to have fulfilled your promise sir- that is pertaining to the elections. |
@OP, is your man by any chance nicknamed dayokanu ? |
Guys if your source of info is sahara i suggest you find somewhere else to corroborate. Those guys seem to be taking us for a ride. |
Keep moving Mr. GEJ, your train has eight more years to go before it stops. Though it's a bit early to judge, results are showing it pays to elect educated people into Aso rock not functional illiterates whose fan base is 90% illiterate. And as for that rubbish you people are reading on Sahara's website, i advise you not to believe the crap. They announced results in Ekiti state where polls didn't take place. |
ACN has finally penetrated the middle belt, who knows anything about Plateau and Kogi states ? |
You guys better wait for the official results, you all know INEC is the last authority here. |
Pataki:Who's using SSS to intimidate nigerians. When you're witnessing politicians acting like Animals sponsoring bombings and all manners of terror, you expect the security agencies to just standby and watch abi ? Tomorrow when somebody you know falls victim to their devices you start to blame the govt for it. |
All these news stories, don't know what to believe anymore |
lol so why don't you start the thread
I would if i was a 100% sure my case would be different when i turn 70, but since i've the same blood flowing in my veins . . . . ![]() |
Oh ok. lol, its quite rare to see a Nigerians man [especially one on Nairaland] support women like that
It's not about supporting the girls, it about what's really happening. Like you earlier said, everyone is to blame: the greedy girls, the irresponsible men and the hawkish boys. The fathers of the same men complaining here are the same ones sending 7 series BMWs into campuses to bring these girls to them. May be some one should start a thread on why Nigerian male septugenerians won't let tweeny girls be. |
All in all, we're all to blame, both men and women. There is no one particular person to blame. It seems like for some people this whole thing has gone to their head. When you say you support the girls, exactly who are you supporting--the ones the OP mentioned or the ones here on the thread?
That'd be the one the OP mentioned, the 'financial burdens'. |
In support of the girls, i believe the reason they try to bleed the guy is cos they know what his motives are. Confess, most of y'all just want to fck and move , right ? No problem with that, the thing is you have to put the society we are in into context. A girl who will make herself available without demands will be the one every Tom, Mr. Cork and Harry will rush to in times of 'Konji'. In some societies, after frolicking around she'll eventually settle down with someone who'll want her for her, and not because she's only ever dated one other guy . But this is Africa, Nigeria to be specific, the same boys who want girls be theirs for next to nothing are the same ones who'll reject them tomorrow when it's time to take the relationship to the next level on the grounds of them being too 'generous'. Right ? |
Dora shouldn't have used this excuse of leaving her party to save her marriage. How many men would do that for their wives ? Like it or not she's a role model to aspiring female political office holders, and what she has just done would send the wrong signal. |
Interesting. Never heard about this Agency till i read this. Seems they're into doing relatively advanced stuff, got this from their site : Welcome to the online home of the Sheda Science and Technology Complex (SHESTCO) , a multidisciplinary research and development establishment situated in the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria, 70 km from the capital city of Abuja. SHESTCO enables institutions as well as individual scientists to undertake a wide range of research and development activities. The multidisciplinary nature of the activities undertaken creates a truly conducive scientific environment, which in turn enhances collaboration, giving rise to unique approaches to the solution of research and developmental problems. Within the complex are three National Advanced Laboratories in the fields of biotechnology, chemistry and physics, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. There is also a Nuclear Technology Centre, which houses a gamma irradiation plant. In a drive aimed at spearheading public-private sector partnership as the key to scientific as well as economic growth and development . . |
^-- How do you get that contract when you must compete with the Tony Anenih's of the world, who will frustrate you from getting it on merit?
The same people who'll then tell you why we have to award subsequent contracts to foreigners because of the ineptitude of Nigerian printers. @topic. Would i be wrong to assume that the executive Jets will be those used by top S. A. functionaries ? I believe that's the purpose the executive fleet of various Air-forces round the world serve. |
But in his own country he wouldn't even qualify to print ballot papers. |
Revealed:I take it to mean the bolded part is real since no one has disputed it. |
it's now fashionable 4 some blind Nigerians 2 blame The PDP for anything, even if the moon falls out of the sky, PDP is 2 blame!Typical, blame the devil for everything. Meanwhile a lot of the AC supporters are unhappy over the lack of internal democracy as exemplified by the Candidates being fielded in the lagos polls. |
This's getting interesting |
