Talk about wretched of the earth. If 60 were intercepted in niger in just one day, then imagine the millions walking about the streets of the country and thousands being born as we speak.
Politics › Re: Lukman Backs Barkindo On Northernisation Of Nnpc by edoyad(m): 7:56am On Feb 20, 2010
NNPC shrouded in mystery. Is it run like a corporation or a ministry ? How much does NNPC generate as revenue annually and how much does it cost to run it ? What is the staff strength of NNPC and what is the employment process like ?
Nigeria is being robbed blind in the name of NNPC but nobody wants reform there, rather we focus on banks.

@dayo, If every thing obj achieved is down to the price of oil then IBB during the gulf war should have made Nigeria dubai.
dayo obj didn't sell oil at over $100 for 6 years o ! shocked
@ikeyman, do you think if OBJ was adamant on his 3rd term bid that he wouldn't be ruling today ? That 3rd term process was in itself somewhat democratic.
Politics › Re: Who Else Is Tired Of The Farce Called Nigeria ? Is Anything Working ? by edoyad(op): 8:48pm On Feb 19, 2010
@gekko that's just to tell you that even when their stomachs are filled to the brim, their plates keep getting loaded with more food. TY Danjuma was swimming in Nigeria's millions before most NLers were born, but decades after is still getting presidential favours that earn him billion dollar pay days. what is the allocation to all federal universities combined ? The old fo.ol even has the effrontery to come and make such a remark, but It's ok by the books of many of my simpleton compatriots, afterall he donated a fraction of it to charity, didn't he ? Right now the most annoying case is how Ibori and 90% of former govnors are walking free on our streets.
Politics › Re: Is Fmr. Pres. Obasanjo Really Bad? by edoyad(m): 8:32pm On Feb 19, 2010
@dayo OBJ is the only military leader to hand over to a democratically elected govt, hell he's also the only civilian president to do same. Obj is being alleged to have looted massively but he paid off our debts, increased allocation to the ND, brought back a hitherto non existent middle class(before Obj if you were not rich that meant you were virtually in poverty), more ?
Politics › Who Else Is Tired Of The Farce Called Nigeria ? Is Anything Working ? by edoyad(op): 6:57pm On Feb 19, 2010
People still disappointed ; NEPA still NEPA; Roads still death traps ; corruption still the order; jokers in abuja still joking ; poverty still growing , i personally see things reaching their point very soon. Governor renovates class rooms and calls it, "dividends of democracy", WTF ? Dictators build state of art universities, dividends of what is that ?

M E Niger Delta. If the FG had even considered giving each senatorial district in the Delta an oil bloc may be things would have been better.

The almajiris keep trooping in droves converting scenic beauty to beggarly slums, why don't they remain in bayajida kingdoms if they don't want to progress like others ?

Name one hausa man that has come out to condemn the malaise.
Politics › Re: 2 Truck Loads Of Almajiris Intercepted In Minna by edoyad(m): 1:34pm On Feb 18, 2010
There is no doubt in my mind that the some of the most useless living things to ever walk the face of this planet are hausa people. You won't send children you've given birth to school or teach them basic skills in life except to transport them round the country to be a nuisance, what type of animals are these ?
Politics › Re: Will Jos Ever Recover It's Lost Glory? by edoyad(m): 1:22pm On Feb 18, 2010
Hausa people have something like ten states and part states to them, why do they want to go and cos disharmony in forward thinking regions of the country ?
There is not one purely hausa state that can boast of state capital that's 1/4 of jos town. From sokoto, jigawa, zamfara etc, all those places are rural states, why don't they go back home to develop their rural states ?
Politics › Re: Will Jos Ever Recover It's Lost Glory? by edoyad(m): 12:53pm On Feb 18, 2010
I was jos over the weekend and the place was baghdad with military people stationed every where. The curfew is 6am to 6pm and the town has the ambience of sadness about it. I still saw some foreigners moving about but i know it will take much more time to recover.
Politics › Re: Northern Elements Push Danjuma For Vp by edoyad(m): 11:19am On Feb 18, 2010
THISDAY learnt that key among the reasons they adduced for putting forward Danjuma are the fact that he seems to be a non-ambitious politician and not interested in 2011 and as such can help to guarantee a level playing field in the 2011 election.
They also said as a retired General who enjoys tremendous respect in the military, Danjuma can help stabilise the army and ward off military intervention in politics.

The issue of Christian/ Christian pairing, Jonathan and Danjuma being Christians, came up at the meeting but the issue was dismissed as some of those in attendance counter argued with the cases of Yakubu Gowon/ Joseph Akinwale Wey who were both Christians, Muhammadu Buhari/ Tunde Idiagbon who were both Muslims and also MKO Abiola/Babagana Kingibe who were also both Muslims
Danjuma is not an hausa man so will be rejected by Yaradua followers unless pushed to the wall. But God forbid for person like him to become VP

Unfortunately this is how big business is conducted the world over. Political patronage is a key ingredient in securing lucrative contracts or licenses and its no different in Nigeria.

I can bet you though he is not the only one making such a kill in the oil industry in Nigeria, there would most definately be some southerners and other northerners as well who have not and will not come out in open like Danjuma did.
Guy this is not how big business is conducted round the world, why can't the fcking govt revoke these licenses ? Do we have to start killing people like the Khmer in Cambodia before they do what's right FFS ?
