Please I need help on the next course of action to take or where I can get solid information.
I applied for immigrant visa for my mom, was approved and interviewed scheduled after so much waiting. She attended the interview and was asked to support my original birth certificate with her passport at Victoria island. I sent the original certificate to my sister through fedex and it was submitted with the passport a week after the interview in the envelope they were given at the interview. They were told that it will be ready in 6 weeks time. This was on February 17th and up till this moment, we have not heard anything. I have emailed them to check and it still reads visa refused. I kept emailing to check for feedback on the passport and was asked to send the scanned passport both old and new which I did and sent and have not heard any response since the 2nd of May. The number is not going through and the they are not responding to my email anymore. I will as blocked access to her profile data page which I had opened for her with my email cos I check my email often and he cannot do all that for herself. Please can someone advice me where we can go to get information regarding her visa and passport? Even if it was denied, we can get her passport and the reason for denial. Thank you.

I have been reasoning, having traveled to most state capitals in Nigeria and seening how underdevelop most capital cities are, it is pertinent to state the list of the most underveloped capital cities in Nigeria by geo-political zone:

(1) south east - Umuahia (Abia state).

(2) South south - Yenogoa (Bayelsa state).

(3) South west - Ado ekiti (Ekiti state).

(4) North central - Lokoja (Kogi state).

(5) North east - Damaturu (Yobe state).

(6) North west - Gusau (Zamfara state).

I can only vouch for the states I have been to. Among all of them only Abia and Ekiti feautured there and it is absolutely on point. The first time I went to Ekiti I was gobsmacked, I could not believe they even have a government. I mean all the people I know from there happened to be good human being and well educated as well as enlightened. As for Abia, there story is for another day, after visiting my cousin at Aba and spending days at umuahia which I can claim to be home based on marriage,my respect for all the Orjis went to hell. In fact that was when I started hating on him and I ain’t stopping at all. I count him as one of the most wicked human being on earth including the other orjis too.

In as much to err is human and to forgive is divine I will advice that you should not accept your mother in law into your home, what goes around comes around, I said this because your late mum spirit will never let you rest, your wife should be taught a lesson, if you allow this to sly she will justify her reasons and that will make your more angry later without realizing the length and consequence of her actions, if I were in your shoes I will sit her down and let her know but it will never backed down on my decision even if the heaven falls.

As someone that works in health sector, this person I’m seeing here will be incapacitated and placed under one on one monitoring so he doesn’t cause himself or others harm. Some people during conflict resolution with a third party just lies to win case which is appear as no fault person but that is not usually the purpose, the main purpose of inviting third party is to resolve pending issue and that cannot be achieved if both parties lied through their teeth and the 3rd won't get the root cause of the conflict. Please is this supposed to be so? I am not very knowledgeable about the culture, help me here pls. What custom is this? I don’t understand why I have to marry for anyone else or buy wine for every sibling, uncle and aunt.

The Diokpara’s own is already stated in the list so why asking to do another one for the same diokpara again including the siblings and uncles and aunts.

But if one is an illegal immigrant, then they won't be allowed to travel to another country unless he is a legal resident in the destination country, so in this case Nigeria. It is a matter of international law and due process. Also, it weakens your application at the US embassy in Germany when you are applying as an illegal immigrant. Because the documents they would require from you would be something you can not get unless the person is legal.

Most importantly, illegal immigrants constitute ''proven risk'', which is fatal. He has proved that he doesn't obey the immigration law of the host country by being illegal in Germany, so what's the guarantee that he will obey it in the US? the consular check all these things. So it is just best he return back to Nigeria and do it there. Or return to Nigeria, go to any country where you can easily establish residency (eg ecowas countries), then apply through the US embassy there. The keyword is about a country where you have legal residency, not necessarily have to be your country of nationality.

What about if they married in anywhere in Europe. Is the marriage valid? Can it be used to file papers for him in Nigeria. Of course he has to come back but close to interview date.
