Might not be politically correct but then a lot of thing written here that are true. Many women have excelled in their chosen career but most of them sacrificed a whole lot of things to achieve this feat. Its the 21st century where children are left at the mercy of house helps and we wonder why society is morally bankrupt. The choice is a very simple one; succeed in career or succeed at home.

PS: There are indeed few women who have managed to succeed at both fronts. Let every woman choose the life she wants to lead.

Good Morning people. Please experts in the house I need an urgent reply.

I got married recently but had a son already. My husband wants to adopt my son legally so that he can file his papers for easier and faster migration into the US. My son will be 10 this August.

Searched everywhere on google on the adoption process but didn’t find suitable information. Please how do I go about this??

I will try to be very brief. My son is some months shy of 4 years old. However he has not started talking. When he was almost 2 years we took him to FMC owerri for examination. The result said he was ok. Unsatisfied we went after some months. They referred us to the International Speech and Hearing Centre Enugu.

There the result was that his hearing is limited. They said we should come for a reevaluation when he is past 3 years to see if his hearing has improved or if he needs a hearing aid. But we were advised to enroll him into a school to increase his interactions. The problem with this then was his repeated bouts of illness after each two weeks in school. We tried homeschooling him for a term and half afterwards. This term we have enrolled him into a new, regular school and he has adapted just fine.

Between this period, we have visited other hospitals for evaluation and they said it is ok. That he is just a late developer.

We just went for a reevaluation and they said he does not need a hearing aid and that his hearing is very OK now. They recommended a professional speech therapist to help him pronounce words, since all he does is just babbles. He captures things fast and can act out a full cartoon movie.

So please if any info is available about a speech therapist in Owerri, it will be appreciated. Other advices are also welcome.

Do Naija men even know what the feminist movement brought to this world? Women working to earn a living. So if you are a man looking for a working woman, but hate "feminists", then you are complicit in this movement. Why not get you a housewife and stop complaining about anything. Don't do business with women at all, like visiting female doctors or lawyers or pharmacists or bankers or engineers. Afterall, women need to be in the house only nurturing and taking care of your kids while men go and bring the daily bread home, right?

Don't be two faced or hypocritical. You cannot be anti-feminism yet be a party to why it existed in the very first place then. Just my 2 cents.

My fiancee and I have been in a relationship for 5 years now. I met her since she was in secondary school. We both love each other and she is very nice, loving and supportive too.

We have talked and started planning on settling down and that should before the end of the year but I am beginning to have a second thought.

The problem is not my fiancee but her mom. The woman is very nice and welcoming but lately, she did something that I am not comfortable with. Last week she sent me a text asking for financial assistance. That her daughter (my fiancee) is yet to pay her house rent at school and that my fiancee younger brother is yet to pay his registration fee. And so she had asked me to loan her some amount before the end of the month when she will remit it. That she considered me a son and that's why she confided in me. I later sent her SMS that I don't have anything.

I was like why would she asked me for loan when her daughter never asked for one naira in our Five years of relationship? So my fear is, should I marry her daughter, wont she trouble me with further demands? Please is there anyway around this? Please what do I do?
