Hey! Folks blaming the Judge do not understand what happens in Courts.

The Court is a place for legal matters - not emotions - and everything is done in the open, and can get into the media.

A Judge can refuse to dissolve a marriage even if the couples, both members of the marriage, agree to a divorce.

You've got to prove irreconcilable differences in court.

So for celebrities who are married by the Marriage Act, and whose breakup and divorce matters would get to the Courts (and social media!), where information revealed there is like being in the open market square and washing dirty linen, it is not like social media trials at all.

The couple who want separation have to really to convince a Judge that the differences are indeed irreconcilable, it can be very difficult to be honest and plain and not want to tarnish the image of the other party but leaving the real sleaze out - and still get a divorce when there is no hatred between the couple who simply want a legal separation.

The Judge would tell the couple and their lawyers that S/He was not there when they were loving each other and having fun to the extent of marriage and children - and s/he isn't convinced that the separation is irreconcilable. Oya, alele, go back home to continue your love and don't put your divorce on my head/name.

It is like Pilate washing his hands off the crucifixion of Jesus. It is difficult for people who don't work around the courts or visit it regularly to understand these things. To put it clearly, if two people in marriage do not exemplify extremely negative emotions towards each other, it is almost impossible to get a divorce before a Judge. For every friendliness the court sees, it would be willing to explore it and restore the marriage.

Judges are more interested in reconciliation of marriages than divorce. Marriage isn't for kids or people who cannot deal with extreme issues and keep the evidence if you ever want to get a divorce. Now, that is very difficult, because only a very wicked person can stay in a marriage and be keeping evidence of abuse against his/her wife/husband - so you see, except where there are clearly established cases of infidelity or threat to life or something - it is very difficult to honestly prove a case for divorce in court.

So yes, the next time you read something about proceeding from divorce cases, please know that in most cases, the issues are exaggerated so as to make the Judge get convinced.


N.B: Note that I didn't say 'all cases'

Well, This judge actually wants fame, he knew they are celebrity and I thinks he also infused emotion on this judgement. No court or judge can force two people to remain married against their will. Meanwhile irreconcilable differences is used at no fault divorce, nobody has to prove anything, it means we no wan do again. It's not his or her fault but we are not compatible. Anywhere, even in contested divorce, once the couple could not reconcile during the time that was given to them , the marriage is dissolved even if one party is not in agreement. But by law, the judge has to seek ways to salvage it and if he cannot within the stipulated time, dissolve it. They married in customary court to, lilian parents should first of all return the bride proce to ubi village or take it to the customary court if ubi no accept it. High court or low court no fit enter. Judge wants to be in the news,

Is there any verified instance of this happening? Seems like a risky and illogical way to transport contraband. If indeed there was a cartel operating between airports, then they wouldn't need to put anything passengers bags... They could simply load the contraband onto the plane in bags of their own... It's much more secure and you have less chances of losing your merchandise that way.. So why take the risk of putting it in a passengers bag and potentially losing it?

But if they plant drugs in passengers luggages how then do they retrieve the drugs if the passenger successfully passes security checks. Because I believe people would have raised alarm since if they get to their destination and l the owners of the drugs approaches them to claim their substance.

This whole thing isn't making any sense because I can only imagine a possible connection between the airport staffs and the owner of the luggage to beat security check in Nigeria.

I disinfected syringe and decided to do it myself. Had a friend here in Nigeria that did surgery, the thing came back and was looking ugly with the scar. well said, some doctors need to update their knowledge. I married late by mid thirties not by choice of cause. I had hyperactive thyroid and was treating here right here in Lagos. The doctor started talking me into bringing my hubby to start fertility treatment, I ignored him and continued with my drug. Once my thyroid level balanced and came back to normal, we started trying and I got pregnant at the second try at 36. At 38 I got pregnant at first try and had another baby. My hand was full and I decided to space a little but that was not gonna be as I got pregnant by mistake. I thought I was in my free period and I'm 39. There some Ladies much younger than me that got married about same time as me and are still trying up to date. I know a woman at forty five that just had her baby without Ivf. My sis had her last child at forty three and not ivf. Doctor is just trying to sell market
