No we all need to ask ourselves. If there were no Muslims on this earth, you think we would have the kind of peace you imagine? It's not about Muslims or Christians or Buddhists or whatever, it's about us human beings!

Today was d ordination of 13 MSP(missionary of St paul) catholic priests in gwagwalada,it was a joyous occasion but I wasn't too pleased seein some muslims and those heartless fulanis roaming around d compound and makin sure they eat evry tin and from evry stand,when I remember how they kill nd bomd christians especialy catholic churches and how those lucifers(fulanis) kill nd rape I was filled with hate and started chasing them away when one of the newly ordained priest called me aside nd begged me to leave them but I was already angry(d pictures of d madalla blast dat killed my inlaws,the Dikes' family kept appearin nd i was determined to beat up one of d grls who wudnt go) I kept shoutin go to ur mosque nd ur cursed religion,u pple kill us but come to eat from us and walk freely in nd around our churches but we can't do same in urs) immediatly the Rev rebuked me for sayin dat nd reminded me Jesus asked us to love our enemies,he said acceptin them evn wen they persecute us makes us better than them and that touched me. After sometime while goin tru d brochure I found out that the young priest who just preached to me was a muslim! B4 he converted,infact his fr is stil a muslim!!RevFr Stephen Omeiza Ojapah from Okene Kogi State. I kept wonderin nd stil wonderin the encounter he had which made him convert? LOVE,PEACE,KINDNESSand HUMILITY will indeed make the world a better place!. It is well

Here is my experience: I was in JSS1, my folks always came to pick me after school. Now they travelled and couldn't return in time due to traffic. I had no money, a fair idea of how to get home via public transport. Now I had been hanging around the schools gate since 2pm. I stayed there till 6pm when evening roadside traders started setting up shop. I was still there by 8pm in the evening, just sitting there clutching my bag when this old woman who was selling oranges by the road called me and ask why I was still there. I said I was waiting on my folks. She asked if I knew how to get home by transport, I said yes. She then asked how much, I told her 10Naira. She gave me 10 Naira and 3 oranges and escorted me to the park where I boarded the bus. Now! On the bus, I realised that because it was late (I think it was about 9pm by now) the fares had doubled. Now a fare of 5 Naira was now 10. I still needed 5 Naira to complete my journeys second leg. So I leaned to the left and pleaded with the guy sitting there to please give me 5 Naira because I was stranded. The guy didn't even acknowledge my presence. We approached his stop and when he alighted, he paid for my fare and his. I didn't even get the chance to say thanks. When I stopped at the first junction, before I could cross the road, I saw my folks battling traffic and trying to get to me in school.

I told my folks the story and the next day my parents drove to my school gate in the evening to thank the orange seller but we never found her.[/b]

woah! We need to hear more of these stories! To encourage us, instead of the daily upsetting stuff.

No one is saying that it should be encouraged. From the picture, we can't deduce that. Haba. We are just saying that Christians should be the ones teaching the truth in love not discriminating and hating.

Honestly, it would have made more sense if the titles of these threads were different. Why says "Governors" school? The use of ghe word "first-class" is obvious.

I would have preferred a more constructive discussion about this issue instead of targeting certain states and govenors.

When Jesus kicked those guys out , it's because they were disrespecting Gods house and had turned it to a business center instead of a house of prayer. I'm not saying that the church should encourage homosexuality but don't discriminate against homosexuals. We need to stop this holier than thou attitude. The bible is also against lying stealing fornication etc yet many Christians engage in these acts. Yet in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Not all church goers are Christians, we all know that. Not everyone that call Him Lord will enter the kingdom of God.

50calibre: Very touching pictures, except for the first one. Church goers pledging support for homosexuality is a sign that God has forsaken them.

They were apologizing not supporting gay marriages. God calls His followers to teach the truth in LOVE not hate, discriminate and slander others. Christians should not condemn people after all according to the Bible, all have sinned and fallen short of God's glory. Every son is equal in Gods eye, none is greater or less save for the sin against the Holy Spirit. I do not support gat marriages but I should not condemn those who claim and choose to be gay. There's a difference between condemning the act and the person.

Anyway, @ topic... I had tears in my eyes while reading this. I'm always so close to giving up on humanity, it's crazy! But things like this remind me that there is still hope . Each and everyone of us is not beyond any of these acts. We just need to search within. Thank you for sharing. You just made my day.
