How?? Tell us the polices you plan to implement that will lead to a reduction in the cost of land. You can't just wake up and say cost of land will be reduced.

What are the polices and what are the effects?

humn... Funny girl...
How can u know a Chadian when he answers Umoru and claims to come from Sokoto? Most Hausa/Fulani men & women have more than five different countries International passports & Nationa ID cards... Because from Mali to Cameroun they all look alike, speak the same language and bear the same name...

Fine but the point is the government has no proper record of its citizens especially from birth. In addition being able to know who is a Nigerian and who isn't, protect our borders!
Politics / Re: Nigeria Immigration Seizes 452 PVCs, ID Cards From Niger Republic Nationals by Egbagirl(f): 7:36am On Jan 19, 2015
How won't it be hard to identify Nigerians when half the population has no ID card and the government has no proper record of its citizens.

But when INEC is giving out the cards, don't they confirm the identity of the person collecting the card? Na wa o

Victims?

Somebody married yahoo yahoo and we say victim?

Sorry sis I am not one to say ehya... RIP in such cases.

Are we certain that she knew the guy was a yahoo boy before she married him? We don't have details surrounding the marriage, family pressures etc.

I understand what you're saying. It's like walking into a pit with your eyes open. But my point is we don't know the full story and it's easy to come to conclusions or judge based on the little others are saying.

Did you read her friend 's tweets?

I did. Still, you don't know her personally and you don't knowwhat happened in the marriage. You can't simpler rely on a friend's tweets. We don't know if she finally decided to make a bold step and leave the guy and he found out or she tried to report to the police later on but she couldn't. I don't know her story and I will not condemn her or her actions based on tweets from a friend. Like I said earlier, we do not know the full story and cannot judge.

Btw, don't be quick to judge victims of domestic violence.

What part of Nigeria is this? I don't think it's circulated around the country that much

The answer they gave to the number 1 question is almost an outright lie. The comment he made about his support for sharia, and the effort he is going to make to ensure that it gets implemented across the country is on record, and available on print. It was published on newspaper pages then. Picture extracts of it has been made available on this forum too. I don't want to read the rest of their denials, if they already started the image laundering with lies.

A statement he didn't know would come back to bite him where the sun don't shine.
It's a pity that religion couldn't be divorced from our politics.

GMB is a credible candidate, but I think he's campaign handlers are biting off more than they can chew. Let them face topical issues instead.
What comments GMB made cannot be unmade. What he believes in is a whole lot different from his comments, and his open view about sharia.

Aren't people allowed to change their opinions and ideologies? How many years ago did he make that comment? Has he since then continued to support sharia implementation across the country?

A lot of you just abuse others online without providing any superior argument

Now you sit in your corner and speculate whether I have seen New York? How would you know this?

How does me suggesting that you don't know what New York looks like compare to an insult. I tire o. Biko, if you took it as an insult, no vex. I can't shout.

Anyway my typing is limited at the moment but forgetting the development/functionality of the American system as a whole, I think both places are quite comparable.

Great! We need to honor our soldiers that risk their lives to protect ours but how many more will be built and commissioned and how many more names will be added to this list before we adequately develop and equip our security forces?

Irrelevant comment about the structure: I expected better. Anyway I guess it shows how much value we place on the army lipsrsealed

U tell me?

Is everyone in Lagos employed?
Are all the state roads in Lagos ok?
Are there no homeless people in Lagos?
Are there no thieves, pick pockets and armed robbers in Lagos?

The definition of success and failure here is somewhat subjective. For every example of failure you can direct at Jonathan, you can also make the same accusation to Fashola.

Lagos is not New York, it's not some el dorado, it is still a state within Nigeria faced with the same challenges as everyone else.

So when the President challenges the next generation to rise up and own their destiny because his generation has failed, it should be seen as a call to action and not an object of politics. It should not form the basis to insult the President.

Lagos is not New York or London and will not catch up with any of these cities in the next 20years by which time Fashola and Tinubu will be nearing if not already in retirement!

So there is nothing wrong in the President saying his generation has failed and this generation includes Fashola and Tinubu!

They say the number one step to solving you problem is recognising that we have a problem. Fashola and Tinubu seems to want to live in denial!

aargh! This is how you know people who are just arguing for the sake of it. You've realized that your argument doesn't make much sense (no offense really) and is contradictory at the same time. Yet, you continue to argue. Why?
Biko abeg, let it rest. E no fresh at all.

Fyi: I don't think you know what New York is like lipsrsealed like someone asked you, how much development progress has Lagos made in the last 8 years? Now compare that to how much progress the country has made in the last 8 years.
