chacha3: ok,so why on earth wil he put it in the bible. Haba of all places
I know a number of Nigerians like to put stuff in their bibles including money and other random things (not saying it's good) but it could be one of those cases. Condoms falling from the bible is no justification that he was engaging in fornication or adultery (unless the story is incomplete)

Foreign AffairsRe: How Michael Adebolajo Became Radicalized From Schoolboy To Jihadist by Egbagirl(f): 5:37am On May 24, 2013
shymexx: No, hun... I don't have anything against Muslims and I'll support them when they're in the right; but I don't like reading anything about Islam. Personally, I think the government has intentionally turned a blind eye on the spread of radical Islam in the UK because the financial backers(Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Qatar) of these extreme ideology are their allies. Those countries have huge investments in the UK and I'm sure the UK's also trying to protect its business interests as well.

It's not only the UK, America and most western countries are also culpable as well. They are all after the oil money and the goodies that come with the Gulf region. I still don't know why Saudi Arabia and its wahabism/salafism hasn't been bombed back to the stone age. That's one country I could care less about.

What's also problematic about this evil trend is that; it seems they're only after black youths. Most of the converts in the UK are blacks and I doubt there's any black guy from the UK that hasn't been approached by these medieval savages and their psychotic ideology.
I'm not sure why the govt is slack on the spread of radical Islam but in his book, Ed def agrees that they had too much leeway while he was still part of his group. I think you should read this book though. It's an easy read plus its a personal story of how he became a radical and why he left. Try reading it. Would have personal nailed you a copy to force you to read it but i sold mine last week tongue

Are most of the recruitments really black though? Hmmm that's interesting
Foreign AffairsRe: How Michael Adebolajo Became Radicalized From Schoolboy To Jihadist by Egbagirl(f): 4:52am On May 24, 2013
Have you read The Islamist by Ed Husein? It kinda gives you an insight on Islamism, recruitment/indoctrination etc and also the leniency on the part of the UK govt in terms of religion.
RomanceRe: Marriage Mistakes Women Make That Lead To Divorce. by Egbagirl(f): 10:52pm On May 23, 2013
Tobius tobius: All these misogynistic threads on Nairaland. "Mistakes Women Make..."- the implication being that men are almighty and infallible, never making mistakes that can lead to divorce. Learn how to talk to him, do this and that for him... Whatever happened to treating each other like human beings deserving of love and respect, whether male or female?
People making stupid excuses, saying, Men have natural lapses. Speak for yourself, please.

Oh, and I said "deserve". If you don't like the word, write to Merriam-Webster and ask them to remove it from their dictionary.
Word.
PoliticsRe: "The Nigerian Disease" - Prof. Wole Soyinka by Egbagirl(f): 3:29pm On May 23, 2013
eggheaders: shame on all those chronic carriers of the Nigerian virus.
You are certain you do not carry the same virus?

PapaBrowne: Question:Who made the system?
Answer: The people.
I agree. The system is the problem. But the first way to solve the problem is realizing who who created the system. The people created the system, so the people should be the ones to fix the system.

Its just that we the people are complacent and therefore comfortable with the way the system we created currently sits.
I agree. We need to be the ones to actually want the change before it can happen.

My worry is whether this whole "turn by turn" thing can actually happen considering the political foundation of the country. I think it also has a lot to do with a certain selfishness/self-centeredness that enforces the division between the various groups in Nigeria.
Nairaland GeneralRe: What's Your Opinion About The Left Hand? by Egbagirl(f): 1:30pm On May 17, 2013
Gee001: He's 18 and he's known how to use both but only writes with just the left hand n eats with the right. Though it's funny when he uses the right 2 lift things cos it hurts. I find it amazing when he carries a full gas cylinder with the left walking. I think it's cool n wud luv 2b one although dem no dey learn left hand 4 old age. Tnx dear@aaliyaSA, you rock!
Wrong. It's never too late to learn anything. I been practicing for a lol bit now and I can now write, eat, and do a bunch of other things w my left hand. As a matter of fact, I'm getting so used to it that I usually hold my pen in my left now and most times I eat w my left. Practice makes perfect smiley

Oh plus I find that my left hand is stronger than my right. I carry things more easily w my left and when I work out, I have to concentrate a bit more on the right cause the right be slacking!

Anyway the koko of this long epistle is that, you can learn anything you want no matter the age as long as you are determined to.
