Hello OP,

I m from Benin. I can give you a very sound advice. I just finished a house like this around Sapele road in Benin city, close to Winners Chapel. While people where doing Valentine, I moved into my house on Feb 14. My mum and siblings now live there. They shared the 2 flats amongst themselves.

Now let me advice. Handle the building by yourself from start to finish
Buy all the materials yourself
Order from sand and gravel yourself
Have a supervisor that you pay daily to be around. Someone with experience
Buy all the fittings, wire, toilets, etc yourself

If you follow the above, you will complete your house including fencing with less than N6m

I work in Lagos so I used an engineer because I was never around. I spent N9m for mine. The guy bleed me wicked

Your advise is good though but when supervising the person supervising how much trust do you have on him that he will not cheat,I'm a benin and I want use this means to set up a breakdown and I assure that there are people you can still trust as contractors

The twin 3bdrm consist of aluminium longspan,block,cement,rod,glaze and vertrified tiles,twypho w/c,sliding window,china door,parlour and dinning pop ceiling,rooms pvc,electrical,painting,same to the 4flat only that the 4flats will have casement windows and steptiles roof.

I was just informed yesterday that there are polt of land in benin airport road environs obasagbon community that are giving out now for as low as 500,000 per plot measuring 100x100 obasagbon is after aruogba community and the road is undergoing construction as it is gathered that it will be tarred soon the obasagbon needs this money to work on there road for grading and tracing so its just an opportunity for anyone who want to buy to contact me and I can guaranteeing you that its genuine cos the people incharge are close to me.
