Prices of materials matter in the respetive area one is building which location is the building only that will one know what it will cost but for me its more than 1.5m and the size of the building too.

pls house I will like to know if 6 inches block can be used to build a 3 bedroom bungalow

Ofcourse it can be used but if you want it more better use 9inches for the foundation

You will have between 300-500k to add for macellenous and maybe supervision,blocks you will need is 2200 9inches blocks,1 and half ton of 16mm,20lengths of stirrups,banding wire 3,000,50lengths of 1x12x12planks,sharp sand 3trucks,laterite 18trucks,cement 150bags,granite 40tons

The pic below will be showing the preparation of the decking as we commence tomorrow and some job done so far on site

Here's the quote for the different states as I just want to post it here so you can see and others on nairaland too.

9inches blocks for foundation 1,700 @ 160. = 272,000
6inches blocks to roof level, 2,600. @130, = 338,000
trucks of laterite, 25, @10,000 = 250,000
Sand for setting, 12. @8,500 = 102,000
Granite, 20,tons@4,400 = 88,000
Cement, 80bags @1,900 = 152,000
12mm rod, 30,lent @1,300= 39,000
Stirrups, 20,lent @ 700= 14,000
1x12x12 planks, 40len. @ 700= 28,000

General labour, 500,000:00
Supervision, 120,000:00

Total, 1,903,000:00


This quote is for a place like ibadan but for porthacourt like 350,000 should be added to it and for other states these are the materiial quantity but if you a builder you can then arrange that
