1) can I use the suv for uber?
2) how do I get to become a partner, step by step.

Correct me if am wrong o. A 4Runner is a 4.0L engine. A Camry is 2.2 or 2.4L engine and people are complaining of the amount of fuel it consumes.
Except you are driving it as a part time job, bro you would most likely spend all you earn on fuel.
Another truth is that the Uber earnings are highly overrated. Before it was easy for a driver to make 100k per week after Uber commission. But now it's difficult to make 100k before Uber takes their 25%.

But if you really want to go into Uber the 4Runner and get a corolla.

But I will still advice you meet people who have been operating on Uber for at least 1 year and ask them how the business is.
Since Uber dropped the car requirements to 2005, all sorts of people have gone to buy cheaper cars. Most people who owns the more expensive cars are selling their cars.

I will advise you to have a rethink. Many people are selling their cars because they are not making what Uber told them and many drivers are left looking for cars to drive. If you go to Uber office everyday, you will see the number of drivers looking for a car to drive.

The only way I can tell you to go ahead is if you have your own car that you want to use.

Your riders (passengers) will know because they don't have the same number plate and may not be the same colour. If they report, you can be arrested for fraud, impersonation or attempted kidnap.

Anyway, if he had said this early last year, I would have agreed. Then Uber had less than 1500 drivers in Lagos. Now Uber has more than 5000 drivers in Lagos alone.

He still didn't tell you guys that your ability to meet that amount also depend on your driver's hustling skills, driving skills and other things.

He didn't put into consideration the amount you spend on your car because a car covering over 1000km a week will need a lot of maintenance, amount on fuel and other expenses.

If it's possible to take home 110k per week, why are car owners giving their cars out for a weekly rental of 35k, 40k or 45k depending on the car and year.

That address is a plaza, with lots of shops and offices. If you are in Lagos, I would advise you to give it a try.

I know of at least five (5) ladies that are drivers on uber. was at their Lagos office today and i saw an middle age woman (at least 45years) who was looking for a car to drive.

on the second question, acceptable cars is from 2005, (ubernigeria.com) but i have heard they accept like 2004 cars. you can just take it for inspection and talk to the guys at the inspection center. (if you know what i mean)

from igando, get to iyana ipaja. Take a bus to CMS then enter lekki-ajah. Drop at Ajah round about. Then ask for a car (I don't think buses run that way) going towards epe. Abijo is after Awoyaya.

Hope it's not a job interview. If it is, be very careful out there. That area is a kidnapping zone.
