Having been in the corridor of power since 1999 - Tell us what Mr. President have started and completed as an accomplishment?
Politics › Re: Joyce Declared Illegible For Malawi Presidency. by egift(m): 6:58pm On Apr 07, 2012
@jmaine:
It seems after posting something - you get to forget it. "Arm-twisting" who said it - you. Even when I made reference to that falsehood, I put it in "quotes". Either you are very old or childish.

While I congratulate Madam President, I hope she utilize this opportunity in serving her people and not doing like ours that ended up becoming the leader of the cabals, implementing half-baked "subsidy removal" policy, shield terror sponsors, housing militants, arm-twisting elections, even forcing candidates to step aside, smooth-talking us, honouring a failed Police Inspector, soliciting church donation from a government contractor, etc.

I know as you keep sucking the JonaSambo feeding bottle, even events that happened right before our eyes can disappear. Do you remember how many times the Nation Executive Council meeting could not hold because the Dollie have no say in the scheme of things.

I your mind, its the evil bargain Jonathan had with the "cabals" rescued him.

jmaine: Your conviction that the legislators were moved by the SNG political wing headed by Bakare is quite hilarious . . . . .if they could arm twist the legislators . . .as you said . . .what has happened to the mega allowance of the legislators . . .are the SNG blind to that as well
For you if Jonathan is turning a blind eyes to the massive corruption in his government (his wife cooking N1.3billion Egusi soup daily), it is those on the sideline that will come and "arm-twist" his gang of looters?

jmaine: Please spare us this stale shyte . . .Bakare indeed . . . lipsrsealed
@jmaine:
You and your likes can bend the truth as you like, but the truth remains - if not for the efforts of the likes of Pastor Bakare, Soyinka and others - your Oga will still be in the Kitchen preparing Kunu. How is the Palliatives, cabals, war on corruption, 36 Airports, Minimum Wage, Security - going?

Refresh your memory esu.

This is what almost became the fate of President Jonathan if Pastor Tunde Bakare, SNG and other Nigerians did not say NO to his present gang and storm in to deliver him from Madam Turia's kitchen.

While I think this thread should be modified to be a nomination one for the candidates, I am glad "Bluetooth" have nothing to do with your list.

But the "Google-Mappito" deserves nomination (or are you afraid his 50+ accounts will put him on the front?). All the same, Dayo all the way.

Am glad your "Egbe" and my Eze will have a heart-to-heart discussion on how to ground the rampant tribal nuisance that liter this forum.

Nairaland General › Deliver Nairaland From Seun by egift(op): 11:38am On Apr 01, 2012
It very difficult to build a successful project that ends up gaining footing like the Nairaland community forum. But from all indication, there is now one factor capable of spoiling this wonderful community. That person is the Oga himself - SEUN. shocked

Please my people, lets set aside all differences and discuss how to deliver this community from the Boss. Please chip in your comment. Its important that forum keep the Nigerian Flag flying.
Nairaland General › Re: Brand New Nairaland Theme by egift(m): 11:12am On Apr 01, 2012
I said this before, I will say it again just once:

1. Since Nairaland have grown so big that no Nigerian site is going to beat it anytime soon, like Goodluck Jonathan (with fuel subsidy) - Seun has place it upon himself to not only useless this site, but to also spoil it.

2. With due respect, Seun this is the most useless colour combination I have seen for a well traffic site. (Even if this template is for free and you put a gun on my head, I will never put this on my site.)

El-Rufia should slow down. I do not want to read tomorrow that "a one time FCT Minister was found dead in a hotel room. He is believe to have committed suicide"

We all know what is happening. Oga say the new timetable to hibernate Boko Haram is June, make we still wait.

Politics › Will Ngozi Okonjo-iweala's Exit Paralyze Jonathan? by egift(op): 7:18am On Mar 24, 2012
When President Jonathan formed his cabinet, the entry Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala was among the very few names that gave a face-lift to a cabinet list that returned many under-performed ministers and those selected for political settlement. As we have seen today only few are actively working in their various portfolio. Others are just Matter "Occupying their loot"

Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala is unceremoniously the Prime Minister of Nigeria. If she succeed in clinching the position of World Bank President, will it hurt President Jonathan? What do you think?

- I heard activation fee is required. How much is it?
- Can I use one account in processing payments on multiple site?
- Do you have idea of their charges?
- How do you cash you money? Check or wire? Any idea how long it takes?

Thanks i hope for response. I really need to know all these to put my expectations appropriately.

I will wait for those in Imo State verify these, though we have read some of these. But why is it all my people in Imo do not want to post pictures for us. Here in Enugu, I do have pics handy if reporting anything.

I like number 12 very well. Whenever I storm Imo State, not only will I take pictures around, I will "Vent" some anger at the square and see how it goes.
Politics › Is It Profitable Terrorizing The Nigerian State? by egift(op): 7:15pm On Mar 19, 2012
With the way Government is always quick and ready to beg, negotiate and pay groups and individuals that terrorize the law abiding citizens of Nigeria, I am tempted to ask if they are telling us that you get result, attention and reward for terrorizing Nigerians?

What do you think? Has it become profitable to terrorize Nigeria?

Generally, I support individuals paying tax. But when I consider some of the things that keep happening to the money collected as tax and other form of revenues, I keep wondering if its a good idea to continue paying tax in Nigeria.

Can you state some of the possible things that happens to the money we pay as tax in Nigeria?

Its good Sahara Reporters keeps it that way. If you read SR and watch NTA, you will find a balance.

I once asked this question, for nearly a year since 2011 Elections, what have this Government achieved. All we get is:

"FG To", "Government Will", "Committees To", "Plans To", "Promise To" - What have been started and completed. Yet Billion here, few Trillions missing here. And mind you, nobody have gone to jail for these Stealing and Killings.
