Currently, electoral act has withdrew the power of judges to deduct or add dispute votes rather they can cancel the election in those places and asked for rerun. It is no longer duty of judges to add or subtract as in this case.

As far as the election is concerned, it ends at the appeal court, that is what the law dictates.

What most counsels now try to do, is to tactically present the issue as a matter of Jurisprudence, to get a hearing.......

The judgment on election matters is based on evidence before the court, but trying to argue against the logic/theory or philosophy with which the judgement was issued is a matter of jurisprudence.......

That's what the supreme court will hear.....

7 applications were filed by the petitioner (Adeleke/PDP), if they can get substantial amount of their applications granted, even if they lose the main application, which is for Adeleke to be declared governor, it will help to build their case if they eventually appealat the Appeal court.......
