Foreign AffairsRe: White House Rejects Texas Petition To Secede From USA! by Ejine(m): 3:50am On Feb 13, 2013
@C.Fours:

You'll help me unpack this article into this thread. It states why states like Texas won't find it easy should they secede.

Foreign AffairsRe: White House Rejects Texas Petition To Secede From USA! by Ejine(m): 3:15am On Feb 13, 2013
But at the same time, America would find it difficult to live without Texas, considering it is the highest energy producing state.
The country's economy would take a serious hit. It would find it difficult to stand on its feet, so I think a secession would only be settled with a war, of which Texas would undoubtably lose thoroughly.
Foreign AffairsRe: White House Rejects Texas Petition To Secede From USA! by Ejine(m): 3:11am On Feb 13, 2013
Texas has been a racist state for as long as I remember, so I'm not surprised.
However, I never thought they'd be nearly as stupiid as to try seceeding, considering the heavy Federal Government presence in the state, as well as the many things they've benefitted from being in the union, like the army training schools in El Paso, to the FG-aided NASA.
Secede and all that shiit dries off straight up!
Don't be fooled by the rise of Austin City. All that shiit goes straight to the gutter as soon as this state stands on its own. The Federal Government plays a huge role in Texas' success.

Should they pull out, how are they going to support the huge explosion of their civil force (from the civil workers they'd be inheriting from the FG)?
Unemployment would sky-rocket, recurrent expenditure would be off the charts, and their numerous tax hand-me-downs from the FG would be gone.

Oil money can't sustain all that.
On a fiscal basis, the state would become a disaster.

No thanks... I think I'll vote that Soyinka party SDMP. Those people are not popular, have little campaigning cash, and have an almost nonexistent PR body, but atleast my conscience shall be at peace.

Once again, you're a bloody mooron. You quote an entire post filled with facts on why the article is a farce, and like the typical Nigerian educated illiterate, you post your meaningless drivel with nothing to back it up with, only to say Silence is the accurate answer.
You are truly stupiiid.

According to that Wikipedia link:

"The Webometrics Ranking of World Universities, also known as Ranking Web of World Universities, is ranking system for the world's universities based on a composite indicator that takes into account both the volume of the Web contents (number of web pages and files) and the visibility and impact of these web publications according to the number of external inlinks (site citations) they received. The ranking is published by theCybermetrics Lab, a research group of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) located in Madrid."

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Webometrics_Ranking_of_World_Universities

What a shame. I feel so embarrassed that my people get misled so easily by fake propaganda articles while they dance naked totally unaware of their ignorance. It is such a shame.
A rating sysem purely based on web contents and external links is now translated to "academic superiority" in that shameless disgrace of an article, and my people are dancing naked like the slaves did as they were transported to Virginia. Such a shame.

Ikedi Ohakim the criminal also had one of the best websites during his tenure, but did that translate to "infrastructural superiority"?

This is so embarrassing, and until you free yourselves from this slavery to ignorance, you shall continue to be used like pawns and peons by dishonest crooked men.
EducationRe: OAU Rated As Best University In Nigeria by Ejine(m):
Please, someone help me paste the contents on this link. It is a clear expose' on how Webometrics for Universities are ranked.

http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Webometrics_Ranking_of_World_Universities

By the way, I am an alumnus of OAU too, but I'd just like us to stop deluding ourselves. This is no different from when politicians promise us floating cities and air-conditioned bridges and we start dancing azonto, not knowing we're being played like provincial dullards.

That wikipedia link will open your eyes on the foolishness behind the original post on this thread, as well as why we look like real dumbasses when we make a mountain out of this.

My people... We need some sophistication for once in our lives.

198 roads were drawn and painted on a drawing book that is found somewhere in Lagos, so I guess he's right to say they were built in Lagos.
