bittyend: How is it better?? Overcrowded, and dirty is better than - spacious and clean in your world, nah??LMAO! Your dumb, hilarious goofs have become so thick on this forum, that you're now rated at the same level with cretiiins like Musiwa. And from this inconsequential garbage post up here, it looks like you're not about to stop sinking anytime soon. Let me first congratulate you on this new feat. Now, down to business: 1. Like I already told you the day I took you to the cleaners on the Gideon Orkar thread, the dumb myopic way you see life is not the way I see it. While idiiots like you are busy playing tribal diick measurements like they'll ever help you through your hollow insignificant lives, people like me are rather more interested in things we can personally achieve in our lives, and not junk chatter about your tribe. So, while we're out there speaking for ourselves in our respective lives, you're here on the internet singing about Igbo and Yoruba, talking about "jealousy" (of all things) like you have any real accomplishments to your name. You sit your wretched arse on the chair in your moldy dark room, ranting about "jealousy" when your hungry emaciated arse can barely figure out where his next food stamp will come from. I dey laff! And the next thing you'll do when I tear you apart again, is run around the forum and cry about Ejine tormenting you. What a sad old clown ![]() 2. I'm sorry to burst your bubble though, but Lagos is not my type of city. And you can go through my comments personally to see I've never claimed Lagos or tried to relate with the place to even begin with. Infact, I have no relatives who even live, work or school in Lagos, so I can't claim it as it has never served or influenced me in my life. I come from a very affluent family, I'm sorry to disappoint you, and we have our investments in Enugu Urban, Calabar, Owerri, Benin City, Abuja, Onitsha, Asaba, Makurdi and Aba, but NOT Lagos, my dear. Hell, I even work in Abuja, and Lagos has absolutely NOTHING to do with my life. Check my history, DUNCE! ![]() But I understand why ignorant retarrdos like you claim Lagos - you have no personal achievements of your own, which is why you view things from your myopic, distorted tribal prism. Your case, boy, is a pathetic one ![]() 3. You showcase your slave mentality when you see the Lagos of 1910 as a work of accomplishment. It shows your severe inferiority complex. And you're even shameless enough to refer to it as "spacious" and "clean"? Spacious and clean Lagos? You mean the one that had no decent Tertiary institute despite being under British occupation for almost 100 years? Today, there's UniLag, there's YabaTech, there's LASU. How many did the British build? Spacious and clean Lagos? You mean Lagos that only comprised affluent zones like Ikoyi and VI, while the rest of Lagos was left in the dark? In case you didn't know, Ikorodu was a THICK BUSH at the time, and even the Ikoyi zone was reserved for the WHITES! But you don't know all that, because you're an ignorant dumbasss! How many places had electricity? Ikorodu today, is a thriving zone, but can you say the same about the Ikorodu of 1910? How many stock exchange markets did they set up for you, MOOORON!? How many decent hospitals did they leave for you AFTER HUNDRED YEARS? You're a retarrrd of epic proportions, and your severe inferiority complex just can't help showing itself! Like I said before, you have no idea how good you have it right now. Better appreciate what you have today instead of begging racist white men to come feed you peanuts ![]() |
Anyway, as for the topic. . . I still think 21st century Lagos is a lot better than what you're posting. Really. You guys so do not realize how good you have it right now. |
PhysicsQED: Don't let Rossike see this thread. But you know Rossike is very correct with his point that Lagosians are actually better off today than back then, right? It's just that a lot of people can't see that. |
I am afraid American Directors and Movie Script writers have run out or real movie ideas. they have turned to comic books and have doen a piss-poor job of it as well. the movie sucked Too many heroes in one movie.WHAT!!! ![]() Are you sure you saw The Avengers? As a long-time fan and collector of almost every issue of the comic books, I stand bold to tell you that this movie is easily the best comic book film EVER made. . . well, behind The Dark Knight and Spider-Man 2. Una no watch am jor. Abeg go and rest |
GOOD! That filthy old hag sure got what she deserves! Can you believe the idiiot once posted pictures of Archi students doing their school ArchiCAD assignments with their laptops in their hostel room, and she said they were people doing SCAMS? Words can't describe how much I hate this biitchh! I hope, as she's being deported, her plane is hijacked by 700 Mutallabs, and she's blown to pieces in mid-air. FUCCKIING ARSE! |
That's a photoshopped picture for God's sake. You all should stop with these childish antics, cuz they're not even close to funny anymore. And boom... The crap has made the front page already. Seriously, this site has gone to the dogs. |
It rings true for people like Alj Harem. That guy no get handwork... or friends. |
achi4u: Nwanne m,asusu igbo gi a dikwa egwu.ya bu na okweghi ngutaO bu onye Mbano. Otu ahu ka asusu Igbo nke ha si adi. |
My brain has become so numb from all the bomb attacks and mass killings, that I feel sleepy when they happen these days. Anyway, I'm beginning to get the feeling our Southern media has got some deep bias against the Fulani on these Middle-Belt conflicts, cuz according to my cousin (camping in Jos), the Beroms are actually killing MORE Fulani than documented. And as far as 'Frags' (killings, body counts) go, it's roughly on a ratio of 9:2 in favor of the Beroms. He says Beroms are killing the Fulani like it's going out of fashion! But these kkillings get very little media attention. He told me this, only last weekend. And I've learned to tone down my anger against the 'Hausa-Fulani' (on the Middle-Belt crisis) since then. |
jmaine: Okija Juju relative was prolly involved in the last Ekiti state deporting episode . .since then he has decided to harbor so much vile for my dear state . . That Ochicha Juju is a different case. From the way he's taking it so personal, I think he was actually deported from that Sharp Sharp Hotel he keeps posting ![]() |
lagerwhenindoubt: So you have seen through the charadeMy broda, na so ![]() With the way Kwara played out, you can see it's not that our leaders are clueless - they're just evil. Becuase they know what they should do, but choose not to ![]() |
Oh, I also forgot to add - This would serve as avenue for the governor to loot MILLIYANZ and BILLIYANZ av NOIRAAAHH! ![]() |
Kwara is my favorite state in Yorubaland. Massive land, splendid soil pH, decent city with lots of potential for expansion, etc. If the leaders there like Saraki and his thugs weren't such dullards, they would've actually taken that much publicized "Agricultural revolution" seriously. Lots of opportunities would've been created! Unfortunately, it was all for media attention... As for this Ekiti rabbit governor or whatever he calls himself? From the multi-billion naira Lagos office to this white dinosaur project, he's really showing himself for what he truly is. So much for ACN Progressivism. |
CyberG: Nigerians voted for Jonathan not PDP. They love him, they would rather die with no arrests, investigation or reprisals and feed him @ N 3 Million per day than allow a competent and prepared man to lead the country! I am sure the SE, SS and tribal bigots CANNOT complain: as you laid your bed, NOW YOU LIE ON IT! Shikena!Brother, next time you want to point fingers at others, be sure to see your 3 fingers aren't pointing back at you. Please humor me - Did Jonathan not sweep the SW too? You're no saints either. |
bashr8: would you like to see pictures of ekiti. considering your from the worst state ever in terms of development you have no buisness comenting on this threadNwannem, biko gbazienu ya nkiti. We've thrashed out the matter, so let's just let the issue rest. Honestly, I don't want this thread degenerating into another tribal war. Let's just let the issue rest now ![]() |
johnie: Italian company, Roche working for Rochas?LOL No! I guess that's just a coincidence. They've been in existence a long time ago in Italy.Check them up. |
Thanks Ejine. You have other pics of other stuff going on in Owerri/Imo State? Looks like the quality will be top notch. Hope they're staffed/equipped well also.
You're welcome, boss. On the pictures, I haven't got much now, but I hope to get some more by tomorrow. But from the much I've seen while going through the place, Imo's 3rd largest city of Orlu has been turned into a large construction site - ie, numerous buildings and virgin roads are being placed, and old buildings are being demolished, so as to meet up with the city's maiden masterplan. As for the schools, looking at the blueprint, they're most certainly going to be awesome. I'm told new teachers are currently undergoing training overseas, after they left the shores of the country last year. I think there was a thread created for that sometime. All in all, I think this man actually has his A-game intact! I'm impressed. Currently watching this space. |
Mehn, the environment looks like the Sahara desert with a few buildings thrown this way that way. Poverty no be joke sha.
Umm.. Sorry to burst your bubble, but the entire land area you see on that picture is the school, and majority of the buildings have been demolished to make room for much better classrooms of high standard, so your misguided comment is rather a laughable failure But thanks for your contribution to the thread sha ![]() |
Each building will be 3 floors minimum Yeah, that's the much I can show for now. I hope to get better looking shots in the evening. Currently this blazing sun is something else!!!! ![]() |
The work is being undertaken by the Italian company, Roche Constructions. Here's another shot:
|
Here's what the final work is meant to look like. Sorry I couldn't get a clearer shot. The sun na HELELE!!!
|
These buildings over here will be demolished. During Ohakim's time, he quoted N50billion to plant a couple of flowers and build a small classroom block so as to shield these ugly buildings from the public view .But my friend says that, within the next 6 days, all these old buildings will be demolished. Here they are:
|
On those buildings up there, more floors will be added. You see, the buildings aren't made brick-for-brick. The walls are forged and then transported over to the final site, laid and fused together, yada yada yada. You get the point. |
That milk color isn't going to be the final body, mind you. The buildings will have a red brickwall texture eventually.
