See ehn, sometimes I think we (Nigerian youths) deserve everything happening to us. Instead of standing up against these animals, we rather make a simpleton (Naira Marley) the topic of the day. Shouting "Free Naira Marley" like he is an icon/humanitarian or advocate for justice.

We argue all day about Davido and wizkid. Worst of all, we give attention to irrelevant people like the Regina gold digger or the fağgot Bobrisky. Check the comments on Instagram and you'd see how myopic the average Nigerian youth is.

So today a friend of mine was having a wedding.
Not really a fan of things like that but had to go for the sake of going and I was bored tbh.

So I got there and sat on a table with the rest of the guys gisting and sipping some henny...
Then I met this girl who was a mutual friend with one of my guys.

So they went to dance but I really wasn't in the mood for any buga tbh and I sat on the table in peace sipping my drink and surfing Nairaland lol.

Later she came to join me and asked if/why I wasn't dancing.
Mumbled some gibberish to her so she could let me be but she stayed

Well we got talking and seem she was smart and all..
So party ended and I was even bored sef and made straight for the door.
She came again what the hell?
Small talk again till the rest of the guys came out to meet us.

Niggas were already giving me the bad guy look and I just decided to play along...
We gisted again loudly(you know guys na) and laughed hard and did some zanku legwork dance and were fooling around basically I really danced today oo.
So we round up and it was time to head home.

Anyways,I decided to be a gentleman to at least drop her off...

On our way back, was tuned to 96.5fm ph and rema dumebi came on and trust mark levinson surround sound in a Lexus.sounded like a club in there and I was tipsy and singing at the top of my cracked voice..lol
She was moody and all so I decided to ask what was her problem?

Well,las las I agree to shop for her upper weekend and all and acted like I was serious about the trip with her.

We said our goodbyes and I delete her damn number from my phone.

Many Yoruba towns up to kwara had Bini influence, including bishop oyedepo town omu aran,I've seen d pic of first king of omu aran dressing like oba of Benin in 1945
I've seen d influences of Bini in ekiti and ondo states clearly
But as time went on u have to understand people change with religion and environment as factor
Bini empire was great no doubt,but everything Has changed
I'm ekiti but I don't hear or speak ekiti dialect
Most Yorubas now only speak d popular central Yoruba we all speak, even I've seen Yorubas of kogi west complaining of losing their dialects to central Yoruba
That's just how it is
For now the only thing d bini ppl have is their past, no other tribe claim them because they want to b part of big 3 tribes in Nigeria, it is also happening to northern minority with d Hausa stuff

However Donald Trump who called out the media team reporting the statement of "fake news", also ended up calling Prince Charles 'Prince of whales' instead of 'Prince of Wales'.

Chai! A lot o but I will mention a few. I remember the day I finished my 3rd term exams in SS2, baba came in usual once in a blue moon tandom style, asked someone to call for me and he started abusing my mum, grandma and her family, using cuss words too. All my friends and other stidents marching to the field could hear everything. My parents always had issues but at least I didn’t make that open on school.

Or when he asked me to go get his alcoholic wine from the fridge one time his friends were around, wine slipped off my hand and gbam, wine break. My father just said that was why school fees I had broken and me seff know cos e no dey joke. But the way his friends laughed out loud embarrassingly ehn.

Or the day he almost beat my sister to death for flushing his cigarettes, adding excess salt to the soup his girlfriend made and flushing the expensive jewelry he bought for her too.

Make I no lie ehn, e go dey hard to forgive that man o because I no wan talk say I no go fit.

I concluded a while back that the average fathers in our generation failed at their jobs. Most people would deny this openly but they know its the truth. Most did not have it as bad as you though. Honourable CHETACHI ONWUME. A councillor in Rivers State, sexually molested my sister on Monday at her workplace where he lodged  at gwarinpa Abuja. She went to give him his bill as he requested. He then grabbed her, strangled her and raped her. He deposited his sperm in her. Yesterday morning,having involving an activist/lawyer, he pleaded and offered a compensation of 50,000 which my sister and her lawyer refused. When the police got involved, he had disappeared. The hotel management claimed they didn't see him leave.  My sister is still in the hospital. This morning at gwarinpa police station where we reported, they said the case will be forwarded to the command where such cases are handled. He has locked his Facebook account which as at yesterday was active. We hope we get justice.
