46 years ago is like yesterday |
RIP to the dead |
So many lives were put into jeopardy Who're we gonna blame? |
It's 46 years ago when someone went on suicide mission *sob* |
Can't forget those years when worries fled to french land as refugees. *sob* |
What's that Ogun state motto again sef?! Ogun o...(Whatever) What the hell is that dude with bathroom slippers doing there? @right-top pic. |
Hopefully. |
Duru1: The only political sophistication in southwestern region of Nigeria is found rigidly under tribal bias. The politics of southwest are sectional fueled by broad sense of tribal bigotry. The weakness of your sinking tribal party(apga) makes you bitter.. I grab |
^^ Tell them. They are all stuck with one party irrespective of how good the performance of the flag bearer of the party is. SW has been able to swap parties at any point in time based on their performances. Who believed Obasanjo can ever be irrelevant in SW politics before now?! He and his boys got kicked out because they had nothing to offer. Political sophistication is more of being politically independent which is what makes that of SW's outstanding and not being stuck with non progressives without having nothing to do about it. What's making ACN to remain in SW is that all those representing them are performers with integrity which no other party has. No other region has swapped parties like the SW. http://punchng.com/output.php?link=http://www.punchng.com/opinion/yoruba-may-determine-who-wins-2015-presidency/ ^^ That's what we call political sophistication. |
Orji for president... 2015 |
Bigcake: Look at dis tout, who cares? As if d so called yoruba people even loved d Abiola sef. NonsenseYet, many organizations, schools, roads... Were named after him. MKO Abiola Nursery & Primary School MKO Abiola Secondary school MKO Abiola Polytechnic MKO Abiola Stadium MKO Abiola Way MKO Abiola Airport(under construction) You see how high on marijuana you are? |
Any immigrant has problem with Arebges's administration or the way he runs the state?! River Osun and Eko-ehide water is there to commit suicide. |
Why are Lagosians making mouth? Ajimobi is building something better in Ibadan.
you smoke igbo abi lol, Ajimobi is trying though. |
Pictures would have saved this governor this long boring gibberish epistle. |
^^ Ogbeni Aregbe brought that idea of 'state of...' instead of '.... State'. Lol |

Ajumobi is commissioning, Fashola is commissioning, jonathan is delivering speech. I love this democracy. |
teskyg: @ Eko Atlantic,Pat Utomi was the Chairman of BankPHB ruined by Atuche under his watch.so?! |
Gbawe: If you are correct then I am indeed very worried for them because people like that, rather than wasting time on discussion blogs, should be busy looking within themselves to gain answers as per why they harbour negativity for their host States and her people. It does not seem like normal or balanced behaviour to me and I think some people would benefit from psychological counselling instead of carrying such unhealthy minds around. They'll prefer the SW states to their 'paradise' because the pasture is greener in SW. Compare the surroundings of the mokola bridge picture posted by the op to any picture from any of their 'paradises', you'll notice they're all sparsely populated because there is no life there. No investor 'll leave SW for a place where militancy and kidnapping prevail. They can't survive in their 'paradise', they have to move up to SW where life is. |
teskyg: This scam called Fashola won't allow us rest.We stay in Lagos and Lagos is a scam we all know.If with all the resources available to Fashola can only produce the result we see in Lagos,he is a failure. You've been noticed |
djon78: of a truth, Fashola is a real shining light among the political class, if we have 5 men with that can perfectly birth their vision and imaginaton like fashola, I think this country will be a lot better off. Let the political class benchmark, copy and better this man's achievement cos it is worth emulating. If we have matured in our politics he should be the highest contender for president, but we are still not matured in our political leaning .Simple truth |
thelonestranger: Some Ibo boys you meanyou don't have to open all ya mouth like that, we all know those who open small CD shops like lost lambs |
O'l boy, guys're avoiding this thread. Lol |
lovejo: I don't mean to call you bushman as you implied, but sincerely we are in it together we need to challenge government and that is my point, in some part of the world, this bridge is impeachable offense. I need to stop here today. Thanks for all your comments, they won't go unnoticed. |
Gbawe: You really have no shame. You now want to pretend to care about Oyo folks who are part of the Westerners you claim have a "deep rooted jealousy" for the "perfectionist" from the ND? Guy, I think it is amply clear you are another person suffering from inferiority complex and delusions of grandeur. Why don't you go and start a thread about the "perfectionist" projects in your ND instead of disturbing folks here with your insecurity-led d1ck comparison?I also first thought it was inferiority complex but I realized it's not. You don't expect an immigrant to overlook what's going on in his/her away home hosting him/her. They all live in SW states, more are still immigrating on minute bases and others in their villages are willing to migrate someday. For this, I think they should be given the opportunity to express their concerns for the betterment of SW. |
Eko Ile: Na tribalism dey talk so excuse his sorrow. You need to understand what they are going through, begging for common river bridge for over 30 years and still nothing is very painful and traumatic for them..I was just checking Nigeria's satellite image while surfing the net two weeks ago, I realized this niger bridge ain't up to 1.5km. Ain't that shameful if two regions can't construct a 1.5km(approx.) bridge without the help of the FG, considering its economic importance to their states and regions at large, and here they are ranting. It's actually a good thing, everybody is concerned about SW(the country's power house) where they all get a better life and good living. |
anonimi: Why are you forcing me to say something on this our ogbonge very narrow bridge now? It's a democracy day mehn, you've got the space to display how demo-crazy you are. Ride on mehn it's a free world ![]() |
Billyonaire: Stop insulting, You Westerners have deep-rooted jealousy for perfectionists from the Niger Delta. That bridge is an eyesore, if you want to see bridges, google Akwa Ibom State.@ bold, it's obvious it's the other way round because the first comparism came from one of you. Which you hardly see post(s) from SWners bad-mouthing projects from the region you've mentioned like you did on the first page of the topic. I challenge you to give references if there is any where westerners have done what you guys are good at. Even those appointed as mods among you guys can't resist it, wonder why a mod(afam) was ignorantly telling us how dirty the bridge was some years back before he got an intelligent reply making him look stu-pid, it's in your blood I understand. |
eaglechild: Is it a pedestrian bridge?Yeah, looks narrow. I assume it's not a dual carriage bridge. |
