Akshow: Nice one. All of them thief house will burn in 2013. Can i hear a loud AmenHave you heard of something called insurance? |
Why doesn't Blackberry team up with Microsoft? |
[b]Who wants to join me in a one minute moment of silence for RIM? It came, it saw. . .and got conquered.
![]() |
I dunno. I like cell phones, I think they make socializing easier. Especially text messaging. I've lost lots of useful #s because rather than entering them into my phone directly, I wrote them on some scrap of paper (which I subsequently misplaced). |
oyb: fake geekJust play the FPS with the kids? Do they have settings that allow you turn off blood and gore? |
heh, i wasn't aware of this. |
oyb: neither ?I don't play games much at all, I guess. Most of the time I'd spend on that stuff is spent browsing different online forums, reading newspapers online, or neflixing. I want to get a tablet also...love my droid, but want a bigger screen. |
Simply move the grave to another location...Osoba's father is dead. |
Haven't played either. Hmm...perhaps I should download. |
Another quality piece of work from the ny times: http://www.nytimes.com/2012/12/23/education/poor-students-struggle-as-class-plays-a-greater-role-in-success.html?pagewanted=1&_r=2 |
"Thunder fire you" is by far the coolest insult I have heard in some time. Sounds so much better than "fvck you." I want to start saying it in real life to people ![]() |
Desola's point is solid. The long and short of it seems to be that no longer are NL elections going to represent the wishes of those who voted. There will be a third party that arbitrarily decides outcomes contrary to election results. Idi-Amin or Babangida style.. |
oyb: like i stated before - going forward lets have the NL seun osewa awards ![]() |
disgraceful |
donchris33: Have you taken your medications this evening? you thank GOD. for what? Even if it is a soul that is killed, so, it doesnt matter so long as it is no as bloody as last year. You really need help fast before you start roaming the streets n.aked.Why are you following this woman around |
Some people take nairaland too seriously. Anyway, Merry Christmas one and all! |
lmao. nairaland...pure comedy ![]() |
Bros, I hope that you won't spend 40 years wandering in the desert like the ancient Israelites. You are searching for that which cannot be found. |
how on earth did you permute his name into MAO4J? |
Merry Christmas, Nairalanders. I hope that you all are safe and enjoying it with your family. |
baby mamma drama |
If I gave my parents an apology of this sort after doing them wrong, they would give me a dirty slap. |
lmao ![]() You should have just excused yourself briefly and farted in the hallway rather than in the room |
Emmy9ite: Baby u are the bomb. Is ur father boko haram?lmao! ![]() At topic though, I don't think pickup lines work. Or rather, they don't matter. If a girl is feeling you, it almost doesn't matter what comes out of your mouth. And if she isn't, then no pickup line in the world will work. |
mumumugu: D manager gave us a managerial handshake. ![]() |
Let us not turn this into yet another yoruba/igbo thread. Ain't got nothing to do with that. Democracy and the following of procedures. End of story. |
berem: Whoa! Its high time i entered the kitchen to start frying my already steamed chicken make nairaland no carry all my time today.am wishing you all a merry xmas! Cheers!mmmmmmm that makes me hungry Merry Christmas! |
manny4life: 1. The party equivalent is NL as a whole. There was NEVER opportunity for NL in general to vet upon their background that will decide if the nomination committee will decide to pick up or drop certain list based upon majority. This case was more so, people who decided he did wrong and cast vote for him, the majority couldn't alter his name from the ballot, and you call that a democratic process? So before people vote on who wins the NL Hall of Shame, nairalanders a whole should also vote to see if the nominee is legitimate? ![]() What is the point of that roundabout process? Why not have people just vote once, rather than twice? Nobody does the roundabout procedure you are suggesting anywhere in the world. Look, anybody should be qualified to be nominated, so long as they meet the qualifications. Do you also suggest this strange procedure for ALL elections on Nairaland? Or just this particular one for hall of shame? 2. I was about to bring up "PROPOSITION" , but I'm glad you said that first. Propositions are introduced so that the people can decide what they really want a certain case goes before a ballot. In this case, was a proposition introduced keeping in mind that there was "SIGNIFICANT OPPOSITION", YET, the polls went ahead.Using your suggestion, then so long as a candidate has 50%+ of Nairalanders who support him, he won't be nominated. I'm guessing that GEJ wouldn't have made it last year, for example. See, this is the whole r3tarded thing about Seun's argument, that a majority of people support Achebe. Fine, let's say that 60% of Nairalanders and Nigerians support him. But that 40% strongly oppose him. If he has the highest "strongly oppose" # of all of the candidates, and all others are below 40%, then isn't it logical for Achebe to win the hall of shame? How can one use the people who LIKE a person to determine who wins hall of shame? It makes zero sense. |
sexkillz: Na this wan pain me pass. . .Imagine, if he treats unpaid labor like this, people who have donated literally hundreds of free hours of work to his private business, how does he treat people he actually pays? Seun is probably one of those Nigerians who beats up his house help. |
