Roughly $10 million per mile, $5 mil per lane-mile in a very densely populated place like Lagos doesn't seem unreasonable.

I can only speak from the north american perspective. But here, it isn't a problem.

I dunno. I guess it depends on what Nigerians have a reputation for doing in the country you are in? If into honest activities, then won't be an issue. But if they are all drug dealers and such, then. . .

Plus the way I figure is, if you have to lie about your background to someone, they ain't worth it. Not to mention that lies always come back to bite you in the a$$. . .

Kobojunkie, maybe you haven't been to Nigeria in a while. Every time I've gone back it has looked better.

Don't just accept statistics/data you hear from not-very-credible sources without poking into it, seeing how they come up with their conclusions. ESPECIALLY if it seems to contradict reality.
