Thank you very much for this information.

I've had a look and the international Health Science course seems not to require any proof of training or experience and in fact accepts German Level B1 and English level B2. So, she seems to be eligiblefor this as is.

However, taking a look at the Bachelor of Nursing for this university still shows the same requirements for proof of training in a professional health centre. Pls see attached. Is there anyway around this? Or international students can't study Nursing in Germany?

Cheers

You're welcome. You can send them a mail requesting for alternatives to proof of training. Something better might come out of it.

Hi guys,

I need help as I've been searching for days but losing more hope of getting the desired results with every click made.

We've been tryna find a school in Germany for my niece with no success. She's completed her WAEC over a year ago and has been waiting on her Aunt to get her admission but I fear it's taking too long.

If anyone could guide me or direct me on how to apply for admission for undergraduate studies, specifically Bachelor of Nursing or related would be really appreciated. Anyone who has successfully gotten admission in this area should pls reply with a guide as to how.

We know about DAAD and Uni-Assist; our main concern is that all the universities we've checked requires some sort of training, assistant, or work experience to gain admission. Is this for real or are we mixing things up? Coz I find it hard to believe that someome who just finished year 12 is expected to have experience when even university graduates don't.

I would really appreciate helpful hints and tips regarding applying for admission to undergraduate or bachelor degree programmes. This thread seems to be more focused on the visa process; if there's any link to another thread discussing admission to German Universities, I'll appreciate sharing.

Thanks.

Anyone sending documents to uni-assist through DHL this coming new week? Please let's combine.

Also, has anyone applied to Hochschule Hamm-Lippstadt for Electronic Engineering? What did you select as the "university entrance qualification" to represent Secondary school leaving certificate?

Hallo Leute,

I intend going for bachelors in Mechanical Engineering in Germany. I possess a science-related WAEC and a BSc degree in Management.

While going through daad website, I found very few institutions offering the course in either German or German & English for international students.

I need help in identifying schools that require only level B1 of German and no IELTS or TOEFL.

Secondly, can UNIASSIST assist me in securing admissions to any of the institutions without the requirement for a prep course and its likes, given that I have gone through university education here?

or should I simply contact the schools and handle every other thing myself?

Danke.

In her tweets, she wrote “Nigeria and our need for wasteful holidays. Which one is public holiday for Maulud? When did we start celebrating Maulud?

“When do we stop all this “competitive religiosity” and focus on doing good for humanity?

Aisha, here are the answers to the questions raised.

MURIC has called for restructuring in the way Muslims are treated in Nigeria

- The group said Fridays should be work-free just like Sunday

- Speaking on the number of Muslim holidays in the country, the group said there are eight, five of which belongs to Christians

The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has listed six demands that should be considered for restructuring to the All Progressives Congress (APC) restructuring committee.

The group in its demand signed by Professor Ishaq Akintola on Monday, October 9, noted that Muslims have not been treated as equal in the country and called for change.

The group tabled six demands to be considered for restructuring especially in making Friday a work-free day like Sunday.
Read the statement below:

“One: Nigerians enjoy a total of eight (cool public holidays in a year. These are Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Id al-Kabir, Id al-Fitr and Maulud an-Nabiyy. Five (5) of the eight holidays belong to Christians (Christmas Day, Boxing Day, 1st January, i.e, New Year Day, Good Friday and Easter Monday). Only three (3) holidays belong to Muslims, viz, Id al-Kabir, Id al-Fitr and Maulud an-Nabiyy.

Foreign Affairs / Breaking! Zimbabwe's Ruling Party Sacks Mugabe As Leader by Ekykool(m): 1:07pm On Nov 19, 2017
Zimbabwe's ruling party Zanu-PF has sacked Robert Mugabe as its leader.
It has appointed former vice-president Emmerson Mnangagwa - sacked by Mr Mugabe two weeks ago - as leader.

The sacking of Mr Mnangagwa had prompted an extraordinary chain of events as the military intervened to block Mr Mugabe, 93, from installing his wife Grace in his place.
Tens of thousands of Zimbabweans attended street protests on Saturday to demonstrate against the Mugabes.

Mr Mugabe is set to meet military leaders on Sunday and a motorcade has been seen leaving his private residence.

I think I have contributed enough to this thread. I've been on Nairaland long enough to understand the patterns of argument. A quick search on the search bar would lead you to so many threads on this same topic. I was advised by elders not to wash our linens in public. It is for this same reason many video clips and documents are left out of public domain. The elders said no matter our different opinions, all Igbos are one, including the Igalas.

It would have been Okay if you can answer the question? let us be the judge

Brother, I speak on things that I have personally confirmed. I choose to leave the account of what went on at Egypt or Israel. One important thing you should know is that language was corrupted as generations went by. The Hebrew being spoken now is not the same with the ancient Hebrew language or writing. For instance, the inscription on the floor of Obu-Gad is an ancient Hebrew writing believed to be written by Eri.

So for one to drag me to the argument of Agulu not being a Hebrew word looks unintelligent.

I have different articles on Eri's movement with Arodi and Areli to Omambala. Umueri's story is laughable.

UmuEri:

You're very funny. When did Nnamdi Kanu say such? keep lying!

But I advice you to stop deceiving people. There is nothing like Obu Gad.

If you insist that Eri built an Obu in Aguleri called ObuGad, my question then is, at what point exactly did Eri left Israel, and what year/time did he arrive Aguleri?

Pls be specific?

secondly, if you insist that Eri begot a son he named Agulu, what is the meaning of Agulu? is it a Jewish name or Arabic?

Are you for real or you just want to feign ignorance of Nnamdi Kanu's statement at Obu-Gad? If it is the former then it is obvious you have been far away Anambra state propagating falsehood all over Nairaland. I wont spoonfeed you brother! Ask any of your kin that escorted Nnamdi Kanu to Obu-Gad to tell you what he said in the king's palace with a microphone. The topics he touched on was on Apga as a party, Willie Obiano, his mandate for Biafra and the call for every Igbo man to come back to their ancestral home Obu-Gad. I have video clips here but I won't bother sharing with you. You are on a mission, therefore the video would be a setback to your propaganda.

I won't delve into the argument of Agulu, Israel and all that. Professors and historians have dealt with that. I would choose to share articles on that with one I feel that needs it.
Culture / Re: The Gad & Eri Lie And The Igbo by Ekykool(m): 6:45pm On Nov 15, 2017
On that very day, the Nnamdi Kanu you revere so much said it to your faces that Obu-Gad Aguleri is your ancestral home. This is after you and your crew took him to Dabawu and the "real ObuGad" at Umueri. Very funny!
Culture / Re: The Gad & Eri Lie And The Igbo by Ekykool(m): 6:36pm On Nov 15, 2017
UmuEri:

You can not sustain falsehood for a long time. @first bolden is a testament to what we have been saying. Your people will never sit down to debate their claim on Eri, instead they resort to violence and insults.

On the 15th day of July 2017, a group of researchers came from Unuiversity of Nigeria and your Aguleri people where invited to sit down with Umueri people to debate their claim but they refused.

Stop propagating falsehood. You claim Eri came to Aguleri to build an Obu, whereas Eri never came to Africa talk less of Gad. Pls stop this falsehood.

And if you must know, Eri had long died and the children of Israel had long left Egypt before migrating to Africa which was led by the Levi tribe of Gads Clan.

I challenge you for a debate if you trust your claim.
Btw, @second bolden, did I hear you say maintain Unity? sorry bro, I can not join in the maintenance of unity based on falsehood. This is exactly what Biafrans and Nnamdi Kanu is fighting against.

I don't need to defend any claim. I deal with well researched facts. I've long been in this game to know how it is played. The more you make such claims like the one you wrote above, the more intelligent people become interested and seek to know the truth. You're helping the cause. Yet again I say, keep it up!

Please post more books and articles for the education of our Nairaland confusionists grin

Brother, we can't always spoonfeed them. People choose to believe whatever they want to believe. Many would choose light, while others go for darkness.

The bad news for the confusionists is that the origin of Igbos is gaining more interest. More scholars are into it as we speak. Like I said earlier, no man can stop the truth from prevailing.
