This morning I closely followed the Christian Alcohol Debate on the Nigerian Twitter street and it was fascinating.

A Lady triggered the debate with this salvo:

"You cannot worship Jesus and drink alcohol"

She was countered with this:

When Jesus Himself drank alcohol.

"Then he took a cup of wine, thanked God for it, and gave it to them. He said, “Each one of you drink some of it" - Matthew 26:27

Yes, from authentic Biblical source Jesus drank wine. Then I asked myself what is "wine"?

Check this:

It is obvious from some verses of the Bible that getting drunk from alcoholic drinks is condemned. Gluttonous consumption of alcoholic drinks leads to alcoholism (Alcoholism is the most severe form of alcohol abuse and involves the inability to manage drinking habits. It is also commonly referred to as alcohol use disorder.)

At the advent of Islam, drinking Alcohol was legal. Some Muslims were freely drinking Alcohol then. The problems started arising when some of them got drunk and during prayers they will misbehave. Then a Verse was revealed that "You should no pray while under the influence of alcohol". And this Quranic verse reminded me of the verse in the Bible: ..You can't be fill with the spirit while tipsy ! Ephesians 5:18. Then at last another Verse was revealed that totally banned the consumption of alcoholic drinks.

Historically, Christians drink alcoholic drinks but the major problem has always been to establish a demarcation line of moderate drinking and drinking in excess. It is universally accepted that drinking Alcohol in excess is a disease that needed cure.

It is a known fact of history that alcoholism has destroyed countless people and destroyed countless families. Some people addicted to alcohol easily commit suicide when getting doses become difficult. I think this is the main reason why a Christian minority is challenging the legality of alcohol consumption in Christianity.

Conclusion:

After much consideration, my candid opinion is that really alcohol has some advantages but the disadvantages out weight the advantages. And this my opinion does not diminish my respect for some of my Christian Friends who take alcohol. God Knows Best!

Today is International Day to Protect Education from Attack

Education is under attack in Northern Nigeria by BokoHaram terrorists, murderous armed bandits and the anti-education policies of successive Nigerian governments.

Hundreds of schools have been destroyed in the North East, hundreds of school children killed, hundreds kidnapped and millions of children are Out-of-school.

In the North West and North Central, armed bandits are on a trend to totally destroy education in the two regions. More than one thousand innocent school children kidnapped in less than two years, more than 200 school children in captivity, dozens of students killed, thousands of schools closed and millions of Out-of-school Children.

Before president Buhari assumed power in 2015, the yearly budget on Education was 12.6% of the total budget. Today as I write the Education budget is just a meager 6%, the lowest on the African continent.

The international community should hold the genocidal Buhari regime on the monumental failure to secure schools in Northern Nigeria. Today school children in Northern Nigeria are endangered species.

In conclusion, it is an understatement to say education is under attack in Northern Nigeria.

How to Defeat Islamophobia

Islam is the world's fastest growing religion despite all the Islamophobia and massive campaigns of calumny and demonization against Islam and Muslims.

Yearly, millions of people convert to Islam around the world. Islam is not a tribal or race-based religion, Islam is a school of thought that embrace the whole of humanity.

My thoughts this morning is how can Muslims reduce and degrade the poisonous effect of Islamophobia?

Answer: By improving their relationship with God and improving their character and conduct. Muslims should propagate Islam not by words but by good conduct. All Muslims should be good Ambassadors of Islam.

The pagan Quraysh hate Prophet Muhammad (sa) but they trusted him with their most valuable properties because he was very honest. He was their Bank to keep their gold and silver until he migrated from Makkah. He is our biggest role model.

Sunni Muslims should reject the evil ideology of Wahhabism that only breed hate, acute intolerance and murderous terrorism. Wahhabism will never bring glory to Sunnism. Wahhabism is a cancer.

The biggest internal tool that fuel Islamophobia is the Saudi-sponsored #Wahhabism. Wahhabism will brainwash a Sunni Youth to go to a Shopping mall with a knife �️ and start stabbing innocent people.

This is not the all inclusive government that we hoped will shape the future of Afghanistan. Appointing 90% of a single tribe, Pashtun, in a country with five tribes will not help the unity of Afghanistan.

Running a government is not engaging in a war. Afghanistan does not need Taliban commanders as Ministers. In this modern times you need trained and capable technocrats to run a government effectively. A guy that knows only guns and bullets can not run Ministry of Health.

Some of these commanders are under UN sanctions. The Minister of Interior, Sirajuddin Haqqani, is Al-Qaeda terrorist. The US has a $5m bounty on his head. Mohammad Yaqoob, son of Mullah Omar, was named as defence minister. Abdel Mannan Omri (Mullah Omar's brother) was named as Labour Minister.

There is no single woman in the government. This is a clear manifestation of the evil ideology of Wahhabism. Oppressing women and projecting them as inferior humans is part of the Wahhabi cult.

No #Hazara who are Shia Muslims in the cabinet notwithstanding the #Taliban promise to include all ethnicities. Hazara is one of the tribes in Afghanistan.

Surprising that Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Foreign Minister, doesn't speak even a single international language. He speaks only his Pashtun language.

Let me give practical example using Northern Nigeria. The Hausa tribe make up more than 50% of the population of Northern Nigeria. Pashtun tribe is just 40% of Afghanistan. Imagine if a government in Northern Nigeria has more than 90% Ministers from just the Hausa tribe? Imagine this gross rascality!

We Celebrate with Palestine (Prison Break)

Today Oppressed Palestinians are celebrating the escape of six (6) Palestinian political prisoners from the highly fortified Israel's Gilbou prison.

Dear Friends, this is the real prison break and not the popular Hollywood movie �.

The prisoners managed to escape although the Gilboa Prison is surrounded by a 6-meter high wall, and another metallic wall. This is the most fortified prison in the Israeli entity.

Mahmoud Al-Arida is the mastermind of the prison break. He was born on November 8, 1975, in Arraba, Jenin, north of the occupied West Bank, and spent 25 consecutive years in Israeli prison. All the siblings of this brother are Revolutionaries. One of his sisters just came out from an Israeli prison after 4 years. A blessed family.

This is not only a moral victory for the Palestinians but psychological. There are period where your enemy will be so successful against you that you will start thinking if they are human!

Let me take us back to history. When the French first invaded Vietnam, they were so ruthless and successful that the defeated Vietnamese started thinking if they were human. Then a famous Vietnamese Commander decided to lead the Resistance that will drive out the French colonialists from Vietnam. The Vietnamese Resistance forces captured 2 French Commanders alive in a well planned ambush. People though the Vietnamese Commander will execute them but he did not. He picked the strongest of the captured French Commanders and challenged him to physical combat to the death. After the fight, the Vietnamese Commander won. His people now realized that the French are human after all and can be defeated. A moral lesson.

The successes of the Jews occupying Palestine is due to their persecuted history. Jews are the most persecuted community in human history. And this is largely due to their negativity and evilness. This does not mean that there are no good and honest Jews. There are. One of the leaders of the anti Apartheid struggle in South Africa was a Jew and a close ally of Nelson Mandela.

Wake Up Northern Nigeria, Develop the Agricultural Sector

Majority of the people in Northern Nigeria are Farmers. When you invest and modernize the Agricultural sector, you create wealth, empower and enrich the people. With that people have enough funds to live a decent life. Millions will be taken out of the extreme poverty bracket. Sadly, today Northern Nigeria is the extreme poverty capital of the whole world.

Two years ago I made a personal research on Tomato � production in Kano State. I discovered that with proper planning, modernization and execution Kano State can become the biggest exporter of Tomato paste in Africa. Before the 1979 Islamic Revolution, Iran was a net importer of Tomato paste but today Iran is an exporter of Tomato paste. What happened? Proper planning and execution.

My state, Niger state, has fertile and arable land for rice cultivation that can feed the whole of Nigeria and export to other African countries. But what is happening? Our people are still using the farming implements that our Ancestors used more than 300 years ago.

Adamawa state has a lot of cattles. Why can't the Adamawa state government assisted by the Federal Government + the rich people of that state invest in Animal husbandry? Why can't Adamawa state become the Netherland of Africa with diary products?

Plateau state has rich arable land. Who has seen the Irish potato � of Plateau State? But the citizens there are busy hating themselves and killing each other. Muslims killing Christians, Christians killing Muslims. Neighbors killing Neighbors! Brothers and Sisters killing each other.

At least every state in the North should pick one or two products in the Agricultural sector to develop and create wealth for our people. #NB: Sadly, we have extremely wicked and corrupt leaders. Shameless Crooks that are useless to themselves and the North.

The Agricultural potential in Northern Nigeria is huge, very huge! Other countries have done it, other countries are doing it, what is stopping us from learning from them?

Our leaders are this useless that they can not plan and create wealth for their people? Should we allow our fault lines of tribe, religion and sect make us destroy ourselves and region? Are we this brainless and barbaric? Do we want our children to grow up as sworn enemies? Was it how our Parents grew up?

Dear Seun Osewa, if a gang of violent people come to your community, violently invaded your homes, killed your relatives and steal you land, are you going to offer them flowers? I know you will not. Dear Seun Osewa, Muslims will never abandon Jihad as the concept of Jihad has an all encompassing meaning. To remove an injurious object from the street is Jihad; to speak the truth to a Tyrant ruler is Jihad; to feed the poor and downtrodden is Jihad; and the biggest Jihad is fight against yourself i.e to purify your character and conduct.

Dear Seun Osewa, the brutal and inhuman slaughters of Al-Qaeda, ISIS, BokoHaram and all the murderous Wahhabi terrorist groups that are killing the innocent around the world is not Jihad. This is terrorism to further the evil imperialist agenda of the Western hegemonic barbarians who created them via Saudi Arabia and the evil ideology of Wahhabism.

Western Imperialism and Global Zionism is behind the murderous Wahhabi Terrorism via Saudi Arabia. They killed two birds with only one stone;

1) Over 90% of the casualties and victims of murderous Wahhabi Terrorism are Muslims. And it is Muslims towns and cities that are destroyed. Muslim women and girls that are raped and dehumanized.

2) Murderous Wahhabi Terrorism is a catalyst for the growing Islamophobia industry. Western hegemonic barbarians always blame Islam whenever these bloodthirsty Wahhabi savages who are their tools perpetrated war crimes. It is important to note that nobody blamed Christianity for the heinous crimes Adolf Hitler perpetrated in World War II. When any Christian or Jew perpetrates massacre, nobody blame Christianity and Judaism. But when the criminal is a Muslim, you hear "Islamic Terrorism".

Having said this, there is the armed struggle of Righteous Resistance which is also called Jihad. The struggle to defend your dignity and honor, and to protect and defend those you love. This kind of struggle is accepted in all the civilized societies of ancient times.

Dear Seun Osewa, if a gang of violent people come to your community, violently invaded your homes, killed your relatives and steal you land, are you going to offer them flowers? I know you will not. I am not her fan but I totally agree with her on this. Infact PDP is worst than APC. PDP is the worst political party in the history of Nigeria.
