@Maverik and Chiogo
Me thinks we all have to go on a united front and send mails to Seun and give him our piece of mind on the plight of this rap section.
He seems to think that this place is just sum 'forum games' section but with swearing and curse words allowed
If we can all send messages to him about our demands, he'll surely be forced to do sumn.
And if he decides to ban all of us like he banned Sharn, then so be it.
He needs to start giving this thread respect, until that happens, this section will remain as it is.
I'm even getting bored with all these drama and errthing, for now, I'll just stick with the Sports Section
At least there I know retards get banned there.

But one thing's for sure, the rap rap section is now feeling like a bad childhood to moi
If it stays like this, many more people will be joining Jackal and the rest on the pilgrimage to the sports threads and maybe outta nland.

@bolaji
I know how hard it is for you to do without attention, but I feel cloning id's and making a fool of urself is not the easiest way.
Why don't you get recognised for tite lyrics or sumn?
Swear you could make everyone start taking you serious if you get serious with your life.
Three sentences is enough for even the dullard.
Remember your real rame is Bolaji Baoku, in other words u're making a fool of ur real life on nairaland.
Please, at least spare ur father's name the disgrace.
I know u'll be tempted to come again to start spewing fuckeries, but just for one moment try to get my point.
You'll definitely agree with me.

* trips or attempts to trip an opponent
   * jumps at an opponent
   * charges an opponent
Pray tell,what did KitKat do to Baros that waz ''an offence punishable by a free kick or a penalty kick''? All he did was protect his poor head.He didn't deserve the red.I'm even doubting the penalty.
I'm already getting tired of saying this over and over again.
Still, thanks a lot for clearly stating 'em rules.

As I said before, there is no argument about the fact that it was a clear penalty.
His hand was raised to protect his head i.e he came for the ball and went protecting his head, sohuh
Is it a stone that tripped Baros?
Would Baros have fallen if he didn't put his head in his way?

About the red card, the refree was totally human and logical considering the fact that even his linesmen couldn't see the incident.
Kuzscak rushed forward in a one-on-one situation (yeah, it was still one-on-one before them lot came back), that was a make or mar situation for him.
If you, as a keeper come out for the ball in that kind of case, it's already an attempt to trip the player, because you are on the ground
His only saving grace woulda been if he touched the ball first, and Baros was obviously to smart to have allowed that.
Did he trip Baros? Hell yeah
Was it with his hands? No, but how would the refree know that in 2 seconds?
That's an argument in favour of the video-evidence refree assistance.
I'm not even sure people on low-resolution TVs can still see it now.
Let's accept the truth already.

@Akinlabi
Now u're talking, that case would have been the controversial decision.
The refree is given the power to decide if the tackle was careless or an attempt at the ball.
This one is a clear case of a goalkeeper's attempt to trip a striker.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by eldee(m): 8:13pm On Mar 10, 2008
A red card should be awarded to a player if he denies an obvious goalscoring opportunity to an opponent moving
towards the player’s goal by an offence punishable by a free kick
or a penalty kick
@akinlabi
Methinks this one is quite specific
Penalty punishable offence + An open goal without a keeper = Red Card

@Cassiel
easy on the guy, he just doesnt know how to support us
you will need your bullets for the real retard when they come (like i always tell eldee)

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by eldee(m): 7:56pm On Mar 10, 2008
My point: NOT ALL CONTACTS in the box will result in penalties.

i'll be quick to say Baros took advantage of what happened and went straight to the ground. YES, the ref didnt see it, our coach didnt see it, i didnt see it initially until after the replay.
Good point there, Did Baros take advantage of the one on one? BIG YES
Did he dive? No, he only pushed the ball forward and waited for the Newton's laws of motion to work for him.
Did the ref have a poor match? Yes
Did he make the right decision there? Definitely for someone using the human eye

Remember that he only sees it from the back, and the assistants were most deff too far to see that it was only his head.
''Kitkat's'' hand were also raised to protect his face, no refree could have known it was the head.

You need to UPGRADE your SKYBOX to SKYHD
you think i'm like you that's waiting for the deadline in 2012 tongue tongue grin
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by eldee(m): 6:55pm On Mar 10, 2008
@Jackal and tkb
First of all, I have to say that the Divino tackle was a very bad mistake on the refree's part
But to say the red card or the penalty was not deserved is a total fallacy

I f you want to use the law, don't twist it to suit you
the law says it clearly

A direct free kick is awarded to the opposing team if a player commits among other offences
• tackles an opponent to gain possession of the ball, making contact
with the opponent before touching the ball

A penalty kick is awarded if any of the above ten offences is committed
by a player inside his own penalty area, irrespective of the position
of the ball, provided it is in play.

A red card should be awarded to a player if he denies an obvious goalscoring opportunity to an opponent moving
towards the player’s goal by an offence punishable by a free kick
or a penalty kick

Please, can you help me point out which part of this two-count charge that Kuszczak did not commit?

That's one thing about law, it is set out without any sentiments, it doesn't matter if he set out to do it.
The fact remains, he went for the ball, missed it and and mistakenly deprived the player of a clear shot at a post that didn't have a keeper.

The fact that he used his head doesn't make it less of a tackle, afterall, if he got the ball first, no one will be talking bout any last men.

Baros only used an oppotunity many good attackers like RVN, Ronaldo, Reyes and even Henry have used before: push the ball forward and hope the keeper falls you.
That's not diving.

BTW, I never knew its now allowed to commit tackles in your area because you have some defenders after you.

Oneday if you chill from all the drama and watch the match again, u'll surely see what I'm talking about

Haba, which of Kels' individual songs since 'Step in the Name Of Love' is better than ''So Sick''.
When last did he top the R'n'B Charts?

Habe, he was once the King i=of R'n'B. True, but to say for 17 years, haba. . .
Truth be told, he's just been making money for the better part of the 17years. . .

Neyo might not be the current best of 'em, but there's my boy Usher, Kels just living on past glory.
Even the Grammy people have found out. If he were some hiphop dude, Nas woulda prolly called him a sellout.
Music/Radio › Re: I Am A Beast - Rkelly Disses Neyo by eldee(m): 11:12am On Mar 09, 2008
At R n B, Kels is most def not as good as Ne-yo, just saw it sumwhere on the net that Ne-yo got kicked off the 'Double Up' tour cus he outshone Kels when chosen as an opening act.

BTW Kels should better stick to his 'whatever type of music he sings'. . .why didn't he release this when Fiddy was dissing his a** out grin cheesy

Ne-yo is fast becoming the next King of R nB since Kels has started singing whatever. Besides writing for everyone from Beyonce's Irreplacable to Jay Lo's Get Right, even for Celine Dion and Britney. . .he's shown the world that he's bloody talented.

1. Why is there no action when I click on the 'report this user' link in the whole forum?

2. Why do you get punished for sumn when you're in the romance section and you go scot free when you do the same thing in sum other section?

3. Why can't some specialist section like the'Computers' and 'Rap Battle' section have a special moderator, nominated by fellow members there, cus it's obvious only sumone in the business can handle offences that don't apply everywhere. They don't have to necessarily possess the right to ban but they could report to you with their own opinions accepted.

4. Why can't we have a special child board under 'Education' like a Science section where you can drop information, help people that need help in sum areas, educate people on what you know and not have adverts for JAMB everywhere?
Literature › Re: Which Books/Novels Are You Currently Reading? by eldee(m): 4:13pm On Mar 07, 2008
Just borrowed 'Second Class Citizen' and 'The Slave Girl' By Buchi Echemeta {author of Joys of Motherhood}
I already finished the first one, never knew she was this artistic

She had her own unique way of portraying the contrast between the African culture and that of the UK based Nigerian.
Her portrayal of the Theme of Religion was perfect, showing us how the average African man twists religion to suit himself.

Her downside was her inability to control the time range in her flashback.

Also she found it difficult to stick to the first person point of view(third-preson narration) of the ongoings, she went omniscient at times, making us lose the suspense.

But that was one of her first books so I'm expecting much better in 'The Slave Girl'

@debosky
I'm still worried for Rosicky too, he needs to come back because of these UEFA games we'll be playing.
He seems to be one unrecognised tireless worker in the team, he shows it when he plays.
That ability to come late into Hleb/Walcott counter attacks to leave defenders confused helps a lot.
It's like Lampard of 2005, when he'll get into the 18 after Robben/Cole have done all the running.
He's not your typical winger, more like a free role player and that helps make our goals less predictable.

I know Wenger is trying to mould Diaby into a Rosicky/Pires but that dude won't have any of it.
He wants to dribble the whole pitch all the time.
Can u believe he prefers to play in the central midfield position
Thank God for Flamster  grin

BTW Why does the British press celebrate whenever Arsene loses out on a player'? huh
This is about the fifth time Bentley has been asked about why he left Arsenal huh
Each time he crosses a ball, they run to him to ask him if he regrets leavin arsenal
Haba, leave let them the young chap alone, he left more experienced than when he came
should we start crying?  huh
and the guy never seems to get tired of saying it over and over again
in this latest one, they chipped in Walcott's name

"If Theo is not getting the minutes at Arsenal, he's going to have to look elsewhere.
"Your career doesn't start and end at Arsenal — it can flourish somewhere else.
"At the end of the day you want to make a career for yourself.
"You want to play football for a start and you want to make money as well. It's your job.
"If you want to make a career for yourself you can't afford to stay at a club where you might be 24 or 25 with only 30 games under your belt."

http://www.goal.com/en-US/Articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=611772

To me Walcott is doing okay at Arsenal for an 18year old
As a youngster, you take advantage of the cameos you get, now look at what he did to Kaladze
Look at the goals against Birmingham, and the cross Ade wasted.

That's his own 15mins of fame and he's using it wisely, now he's breathing down Eboue's neck on the right wing.
In the AC match Eboue had the same chance Theo had but he prefered to dive for a PK. cheesy
In my own opinion, Walcott will suceed where Bentley failed.

Let Bentley be consoling himself with the England shirt, in the end, with two wingers of equal ability, the one at the bigger club is chosen first. grin grin grin
Besides, don't they have the UEFA Cup to concentrate on grin grin tongue
