I did with my wife on monday, self upload, standard & 8am appointment time.. It was not crowded at all, and we did our biometrics under 30mins.

Alright, thank you, that's a relief. My concern is afternoon as well because my family's appointment is around 3pm

The 38,500 might be for prime time appointment, if you want a closer date.
You will get a later date when you don't pay for prime time, depending on the dates available.
If the person is not in a hurry, there's no reason to pay for it, except the available dates are very far.

Confirm from your agent if it's for prime time, and him to send screenshot of available dates so you can make an informed decision

Yes it is prime time, thanks a lot

Hi folks, please I want to ask concerning a student dependent application, application has been made with visa and Ihs fees made. The agent processing is asking for 38k plus for the biometrics fee? Is this the norm please? Because when the main applicant applied, she did not pay anything extra for biometrics again.

Please don’t upload Cv… Work reference and cover letter is okay. I have a 12 year study gap and didn’t get nsf.

Thank you Nickishire. Did you submit the work reference and cover letter upfront? Because I am particular on someone with study gap who did not submit any work docs but still got visa without nsf. Is that possible please?

Apply to as many nhs jobs as possible (e.g project/delivery manager in your case).

Include key words in the job description to your supporting statement.

Don’t be too location specific.

Start from the oldest jobs(the end, e.g page 357), you’ll get quick feedback.

Good luck.

Quick question pls, isn't there a possibility that the older jobs have been filled already? As per your point about starting from the oldest jobs.

I have PERSONALLY been converting naira to pounds using Lemonade. Simply fund your lemonade naira account and transfer to your pounds account.

I am still in Nigeria, can I sign up on lemonade from here, convert naira to pounds and credit my pounds dom account to pay for visa fees?

Please forgive my ignorance, how re they freely convertible? And how can they make naira also freely convertible?what really went wrong with Nigeria? There is form A as well as MG, WU which I believe they are in the range of oanda rate. If those apps are not in existence, form A, WU, MG, And the likes will be our options and not all these them lemonade. Educate me please

Methinks banks should be allowed to convert naira to fx easily for walk in customers. Eg I need dollars to pay for an exam in the US, I walk into gtb, give the naira value, and collect dollar value in my dollar account and transfer. Banks shld be allowed to do bdc operations, then no body will need black market or aboki.

For those who are yet to pay for Visa and IHS fee. I would advise you pay with Euros now. It is very much cheaper to pay with Euro on UKVI website than using dollars. I have paid twice with euro now and i have paid more than 740k naira in black market conversion compare to over 800k that you will spent if you use dollar.

If you still have up to two weeks to pay you can open Euro account with first bank and request for multicurrency card.

How did u get euro currency to fund the account pls?

People should just avoid that country by all means!!
If you can’t do illegal things then you have to avoid the UAE, I had crazy experience in Dubai and it wasn’t worth it, the signature part is not a lie at all, my Egyptian boss did same thing to me, even after I told him on my first day I wouldn’t sign anything if it’s not in English then they brought the English version and I thought I was being smart I didn’t know it don’t matter English or Arabic just append your signature damn it!!
The judicial system is a joke they know these things but you as a laborer doesn’t pay their taxes na the company dey pay their money so screw you and the case you opened because na DOA!!
Ire oooo

Best thing for kind of ppl, just sign ur signature with the present date everytime. It will be difficult to lift to another document.

My wife got conditional admission to their london campus and all tuition paid but they insist to bring letter that the language of instruction was English now ASUU on strike in big dilemma now as full tuition has been paid by her.
I'm open to suggestions here as well

I will suggest you inform them about the ongoing strike you can mail them to explore other options. Possibly write ielts if the funds wouldn't be a problem. If it is, I hear some schools accept tests like duolingo which is less expensive, some ppl also do pte etc. I don't really know about these English language equivalent tests though so do your research and look for alternatives.

It’s either you’re using flywire or Form A. I don’t think there’s anything like flywire with form A.
Flywire is fast ,yes but the exchange rate is very high compared to CBN rate for form A.

You can make payment to flywire through form A. Flywire details will be used as beneficiary once it gets to them, they forward to the school on your behalf.
