I just faced this issue today. Called up to three banks (FBN, GT, Zenith) and they all said the limit is $100.

I had to reduce the quantity of my items to less than $100 and used Firstbank charged me around N427/$1 from.my calculation. I'll wait for the statement.

I would have used GT but I have used up almost the 100USD for this month, at least they charged $414 yesterday up from $395 two weeks ago which is still better than Fistbank's rate.

The only way out of the restriction that GTbank CCrep told me is to get a dollar card at 1k and $30 opening balance with a $10 yearly maintainance fee. Then you go and look for where to buy physical dollar ($) to deposit in the account.

80amps pwm isnt common, and would have served.

80amps and even 100amps is available on Ali but he may not have enough time on his hands to afford the long wait.

1.5kva 12volts inverter
One unit 12volts 200ah battery. 2 units of 40amps pwm charge controller.. If your budget is tight.

However 2 batts would be prefferred with 6 x 300watts solar panels, 1.5kva 24v inverter, 60amps mppt charge controller.

Will all 4 panels pass through the two controllers or will it be split into 2 panels per controller?

Does that combination give a better harvest than a single 80amps Pwm controller for instance.

Modified: Never mind, I forgot to account for the max solar input of the 40amps controller. It can't take all 4 (1200w) at once so it has to be split.

Unstable voltage from PHCN can damage these chargers quickly.

My friend's charger spoilt within a week of use while I have been using the same charger for more than 18 months now. I found out his home voltage is unstable.

I just tried the app for the first time and I received the OTP. Although it showed error message once, but I tried again immediately and got the OTP.

It applies to every charging source.

With your present connection, first battery will get better charge than the second. But with the balanced Charging diagram, both will get almost equal current during charging so they will charge at the same rate.

Last week the Luminous inverter had issues and I swapped it with Icell 1.5kva 12 volts inverter.During the day I do not have issues as the battery is slway charged.However I noticed that at night even with minimal load, the battery discharges fast even though there is utility light to support solar charging in the day.I dont want to believe the batteries are having issues already or is it because I used a 12volts inverter and had to parallel the two batteries?I am just confused because the batteries are just like 7 months and they have been connected to solar at set up. I never experienced this when I was using the Luminous inverter.

Please share your experience because its like these AGM batteries are no longer worth it!

How are the batteries connected to the charging source? Internal resistance can be an issue if not properly connected.
My research shows that the best way to charge batteries in parallel is as shown in the first screenshot below

I can personally setup a better solar system with as low as 100-150k to power my lights and TV for as long as I want. In fact, I recently helped a friend install one for around 150k which powers his 42" TV all day as long as there is sunlight and at least 4hrs at night. All things being equal, the setup should last for 18-24 months before any major upgrade.

How many hours can this MTN thing power a 32" TV for example?

By the way, I am not even a professional installer, just a DIYer.

Guys here are asking for specifics to help you but you are more interested in getting a price quote.
With that mindset, an installer can rip you off or give a low quote with claims that he is giving you a 2kva system and then go ahead to install a system that will not last up to six months for you.

The details unicmarket and ojeysky went into may look unnecessary and difficult to understand but they are valuable info that will give you a standard system.

I advise that you take time to do some Google search to understand the basics of inverter setup so that you won't be at the mercy of installers (there are alot of half-baked installers out there). What is worth doing is worth doing well, even if it's on a small scale.
