yeah. I've enquired and it's like the battery is replaceable, I might have to replace the battery later, but for now I'm still rocking it

It would be great if the battery is truly replaceable.

the gadget na small but mighty, I've used it close to two years now, the only difference now is that I've noticed that the battery life has depreciated, it doesn't last for many hours on full charge

The decrease in battery life is expected.

That's why I try not to let it die (go off) before charging. I think allowing it to die completely before recharging is not good for battery life.

The price don jump sef....thanks bro.

Does it have dc input for charging and can it work while being charged? I'm sure it has Bluetooth function, right?

I did a review on that havit rechargeable speaker in March. See it here

I bought it for 23k on Jiji and you can still get it for that price there.
Feel free to ask me any question about it. I have used it actively for 4 months.

How's the subscription and number of channels, just bought gotv, I don dey nearly regret.

It has some channels that Gotv has.

Check startimes websites for the list of channels. There about 100 or so. I am using the antenna version not the dish.
TV/Movies / Re: Startimes Introduces "Pay As You Go", Adds More Stations by eleojo23: 6:47am On Jul 12, 2020
Is that so?

Startimes is trying though with their HD decoder/ combo.

If you use the SD decoder, you will hate their picture quality but with HDMI cable on the HD decoder, there is big difference, almost like Dstv.

The HD decoder has ordinary AV ports too.
I almost threw away the HD decoder when I used the AV ports until I tried the HDMI port and I changed my mind.

Politics / Re: FG Moves To End DSTV's Monopoly, Says Multichoice Is Cheating Nigerians by eleojo23: 2:36pm On Jul 05, 2020
Dantedasz:

Their content is terrible!
The picture quality is poor!
The local movies are endless repeats.
The foreign movies are endless repeats!
The only current content comes from AIT ,Channels and NTA news.
The only current sports are the German Bundesliga and the Europa league.
And before you counter me I have the dish and pay for their premium content so I know what I am talking about. While I agree DSTV is also rubbish without the premier league and are ripping Nigerians off because I also subscribe to their compact plus bouquet Startimes is certainly not a good alternative at all.

The picture and audio quality is slightly better than GOTV in my opinion.
See the picture below from the HD decoder using antenna at just 34% signal strength. The TV also affected the quality because it is not a full HD TV and I also took this picture at a very close range in front of the tv.

Something like this is not bad.

They have both SD and HD decoders. SD decoder gives poorer picture quality

Hello Boss, some of the reviews I read on the inverter said the fan makes a lot of noise and it's like the fan is always on, no time it is off. Pls, what's your experience so far?
Mine is different from the one I recommended and the fan doesn't come on until load exceeds 50w.

Did you find those reviews on AliExpress ? 'cos the one I recommended doesn't have much reviews.

How come Xiaomi replaced the RGB notification light with a bland white light on the note 7 and 8? Dont know about the note 9 series though.

I wonder...

They should return it as soon as possible.

I hate the bland white light. It's unintelligent unlike the RGB LED, it can't differentiate notifications cheesy

Please, since it's pure wave, can this power a freezer of 110watt?

The inverter has a peak power of 1200W for a few seconds so it should be able to handle a fridge of 110w.

Take SAED seriously.
Some of those skills may come in handy when you need something to sustain yourself while looking for a job.

Don't be like me who slept throughout SAED lectures and never took it seriously throughout the service year. grin

Lol @ Museum.

Na real museum of sun energy. Mr. NiyiOmolyunade is in the heavyweight category.

Thank you o Mr. Niyi for being of reliable help in times of need. It appears one other thing that gives you exhilaration is probably having more people jump on the AE train. God bless you, keep up the good work.

I shared to neighbours that usually come to charge their phones in my crib, all my AGMs when I settled for the lightweight league Lithium, having upgraded from the featherweight lithium category. That encouraged them to get small sized (9k modified wave) inverters and at least one 150w panel to power basic things - lights, charging, 19 inches TVs mostly and Gotv. Even some of them that were hitherto on MTN lumous started to blame themselves for that bondage.

The community has no grid power yet and I was the only one on reliable AE. Aside from the reduced traffic of phone and torchlight charging at my place grin, It's always a thing of joy to see rays from light bulbs shine thru their windows at night when I pass by.

Pls, one more thing, can you share the name and the pix of that 600w pure sine inverter that you got

This is it (First screenshot) but the store no longer has it and the shipping fee from other stores is crazy.

Go for the one in the Second screenshot. Just type "1000w pure sine wave inverter" in the search bar. It is among the first 6 results you'll see (Third screenshot)

The answer to your question is literally 6/7 posts above yours.

Is it that people just open the thread to drop questions and can not even bother to read at least a page or 2 before they do?

During our time, we used to read this thread like a daily devotional. You don't skip any page even if the page is full of fights.grin

Oh! It's aiiit, no probs,
I just wanna ask as regards shipping inverter from AliExpress, how did you go about it considering the shipping price is always high,
I saw you advising someone to get one of those cheap pure sine wave
inverter from AliExpress
And if you have a seller that is reliable with better products on Aliexpress, I wanna ask for the liƱk.

The shipping price is only high if you are buying large capacity inverters that have a lot of weight. I bought a small one last year (600w pure sine wave) and shipping was cheap (less than 3k).
I don't have a particular seller I buy from. Just search for what you want and order from any seller that has it. Worse case scenario is, if the product doesn't arrive, you will be refunded.

It's better to buy one of these cheap pure sine wave inverters from AliExpress. Delayed shipping due to Corona virus is the only issue now but some orders I made in March finally arrived this month.
So if you can wait, place the order, take a big chill pill and wait for it to arrive.

I think it's interstate. Information reaching me is that the Covid-19 screening tent and roadblock on the Benin-Agbor axis was removed on Tuesday. Motorists confirmed it. The only problem is that there are more police check points on the road than usual.

Shut up. nasco marketer.

And what is wrong with marketing the Nasco TV?

Have you used it before and it disappointed you? Or have you seen negative reviews anywhere so far?

You condemn a product when there are multiple negative reviews about it and not just because you don't like the name or you feel you will have a negative experience with the product.

Why is logical reasoning and argument far from many people? In a bid to sound smart by playing 'marketer detective', you ended up sounding illogical and...(let me stop there...!)

Currently have about 37 channels. Mixed with church channels which you can delete. When I change the position of my dish I get totally different channels.

I use normal dstv dish. If you already have a working dish that is mounted, just plug the wire to your tv and do a blind scan.

I don't pay for any subscription. I only paid the installer for his work the first day. Bought it in February.

Please does it have sound output port to connect to external sound system? I don't like using only the TV speakers
