For all forum members getting banned, the simple fix I apply is to mail the supermods and typically get unbanned and post restored within an hour.

If you navigate to the NairaLand main hompage, you will the the 'Mail SuperMods' button right at the bottom.

In my experience writing long posts gets you banned.

I tried charging my rechargeable fan battery with the pulse repair because it doesn't last long again, I just can't explain what really happened, maybe it was the charging amp because the knob was all the way when I was using it to charge the other inverter battery, and funny enough I was there and perceiving the odour small small not until a friend came and complained of the strong toxic smell, I started investigation and found out, and the battery was manageable but now I've completely ruined it

What baffles me is some smell in my nose like when you sniff water in ur nose. U knw the smell. I keep having it for more than 5days now. Its worrying

they indicated 12v @20amp but I doubt if it's up to 20amp because it took up to six hours to charge my 150ah from 80% to 100%. My other intelligent charger would have done that in less than two hours,

I know deep cycle last for fewer years but I want to know if it's still worth it?

I am really eager to lay hands on that Felicity BMS and interrogate it thoroughly via serial port.

I believe we will share many happy times and have many long talks where the BMS will tell me all it knows and all it has gone through.

I see an opportunity to speak to the BMS and make it obey custom LVDs and so on - there is significant commercial advantage here with increased demand for relatively cheap Lithium batteries which can be paired with an average inverter that has no customizable LVD.

A better value drop in replacement for lead acid if only one could tweak the BMS LVD to safer levels - right now one is being forced to contrive external disconnect arrangements to operate the battery within safe limits and keep the system stable.
