In Matthew 6:9, Jesus was telling us not to expect any good from the government of this world but to expect and pray for the coming of God's government. Revelation 11:15 foretells that government when it says: "The seventh angel blew his trumpet. And there were loud voices in heaven, saying: “The kingdom of the world has become the Kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ,+ and he will rule as king forever and ever.”
That is the government we hope for.
All the Christians u have known that held political positions, didn't they become liars in the end? That tells u 1 John 5:19 shld not be argued with. That's why psalm 19:7 says: "The law of Jehovah is perfect, restoring strength. The reminder of Jehovah is trustworthy, making the inexperienced one wise".
Lastly, look at revelation 17:2. Who do u think is that prostitute who has committed sexual immorality with THE KINGS OF THE EARTH? The bible answers that question. Wld u want to know who?
