iLegendd: It's mostly 8 hours in a week. Learn at your convenience and at any time, but you must meet your course's deadline just like a real school. So, you can do it in the morning, afternoon, evening, or night. It's your choice. Be careful about the payment for the courses especially when registering for specializations. Some people have complained of repeated charges even after finishing a course. So make sure you find a way to disable automatic charges. There should be a way to do that on the site... |

dawoyo: My advise to people is not to abuse the financial aid privelege.
You all need to understand that some of the courses are tasking (data & time). I did a specialization, Leading with Sense with HEC Paris and the courses required Skype video calls with other students.
Some of the courses also require you do a peer review assignment which are actually quite simple since they are being graded by your peers.
The ish here is to ensure you have the time to complete any course before embarking on it. Very true. Online learning is not as easy as people think. One needs a lot of self-motivation to pull through |

Though Coursera has many free courses, some advance level and even introductory courses involve some payment for you to get a verified certificate. You can take an individual course (and earn a verified certificate) or a group of courses to earn a Specialisation certificate
The payments could range from $49 to 100s of dollars. But it's a cheap way of getting some good education |

kekilika: The Xiaomi thread is a colony in Nairaland. A world on its own. In fact, Nairaland should be renamed Xiaomiland (Osewa would be like ). In this thread, I have observed keenly these 20 types of people. 1.The observers ... Seeing thing but say nothing. Just to read comments is their concern.
2. The Cabal Techs ... The last time someone said cabal, there was fury here. They breath out solutions here.
3. The how much crew ...Always asking how much you bought your device. They have been on this trend for the past 3 months. Uncle, please buy phone.
4. The Testifiers ...Oh... welcome me to the Xiaomi family... Bla bla bla... He is legit
5. The Sellers ... Always quoting and dropping digits. We must sell ooo
6. GSMARENA Believers ... According to the gospel of Redmi note 5 pro... It not the same as Redmi Note 5
7. The CR7 in Aston villa team Crew ... I have a budget of N25000, I need a a Redmi of 5.5 inches screen, 4000mAh battery, 21MP camera, Android 8.1 ...Uncle, na Mi band 3 you dey look for.
8. The ROMers ... Always bragging and excited about how they are porting from Custom OS.
9. The fonters and themers ... Please which font is this? Which theme is that you are using? Just don't screenshot anything for them to see
10. The Confused ... Rooting here, custom recovery here, unlock bootloader... So I can't use Xiaomi unless I do these things? 11. Introducing...the list compilers like you... |

He may not have used the right words when he said 'bad screen' and 'weak battery' Maybe he meant that he is personally not satisfied with the specs in those aspects. Gptech: I nr fit talk jare, gsmarena trashy endurance rating . Imagine saying the Mi 5 out outperforms Redmi 5. People don't understand that a buggy rom will likely give you a poor result. Many times Gsmarena run reviews on Shop roms too. Again the average Nigerian tend to believe foreigners more in virtually everything, won't blame us though, many times we have betrayed ourselves even for free. If you check Gsmarena's review of the Redmi note 4SD, they said it takes over 4 hours to completely charge the device. I remembered telling someone here that it's not true, because mine took 2.5 hours approximately, but you know who people chose to believe. 4hrs to charge Note 4? Certainly not my own note 4 sha. Mine takes around that 2hrs+ from 0 to 100. In fact the charging usually speeds up from around 70% to 100%. |
