Note 5 plus has a lower spec in the 3 devices, snapdragon 625, a lesser camera quality than the note 5 and note 5 pro.
Note 5 and note 5 pro are brothers, same in specs except the camera, note 5(ai) is better than the note 5 pro, out of the box android version, note 5 is 8.0, note 5 pro is 7.0, and regional exclusivity, the note 5 pro is only available in India, outside india all u get is the note 5 (ai).
So any note 5 u see is ai and not pro, so stop thinking about pro as u can't get pro outside india.
We have note 5 for 70k, payment on delivery. Next day free delivery within Lagos.

Let's say 50k-80k sir.

Go for the Redmi Note 5 then.
It's among the latest release from Xiaomi...

Protein, Ifedith, make Una attend to this our intending member.

sartee:
Okay sir... Thanks a bunch. I didn't know I could use the phone without tweaking it sir. Which of the xiaomi series would you recommend sir.

This will depend on your budget. How much do you want to spend?

So he thinks he has made sense now abi?

lolllll are you really particular about different LED lights? Personally I think it's a gimmick as more often than not you would pick up your phone once you see it blinking irrespective of the color of the lights or not. It's a subconscious thing.

If my phone is blinking and the blinking light is for WhatsApp notification, I won't pick up till when I want to.
But if the blinking light is for SMS or missed call, I'll be quick to pickup...so that multiple colour feature is very important for me

yahmaid04:
the Quick ball from settings does that too

Ifedith:
Like seriously?
This has been in existence since time immemorial.. Use ur quick ball jare.

I just like this one.

I know it's under quick ball. Under quick ball, I'll have to tap twice or pull the drop down menu then tap but with this, I tap straight...yes that extra tap is stressful

Grandmufti, if I catch you eh..

This app is useful if you want your power button to last long.
You don't have to always press your power button to lock your screen...

gsparks01:
my bad. Ive learnt the hard way. I only backed up my apps. The issue that forced me to do a reset sef isnt solved. Do you have the Theme app? I think i may need to flash it. Mine's not working again

I don't have the app.

Maybe someone else here can help you...

graciously03:
Nigerian men won't see this...theirs is to complain up and down

But Nigerian men travel from Lagos to Jos(and other parts of the country), to propose na and you know how bad our roads are. Is it because they don't post it on social media?

Or is it because this one is from one country to another? Some Nigerian men have done that too but they didn't post it online.

Oya, you should travel overseas first and if no man comes there to propose to you after 5 years, then you can talk.

fibonacci2526:
I think we should limit the amount of talks about flashing, rooting on this thread tbh. Some people will get confused and think they can't use a xiaomi phone because they can't flash or root.

Exactly... someone has asked this same question here before because a lot of people were talking about rooting and flashing when he entered the thread..

sartee:
Good morning in here. Have been following the thread for quite sometime now. Though am not much of a techy guy. But would like an honest advice from good fellows in here. Am thinking of either buying the infinix note 5 cos of the screen size and specification or buying a xiaomi(NOTE I Dont have any in mind). But this flashing of ROM issues got me confused. Is it that I can't use the xiaomi without rooting or flashing it. Thanks for your honest advice.

You can use your phone without rooting or flashing
I have been using my Xiaomi for months now without any of those tweaking.

The rooting and flashing are for adventurous tech peeps

gsparks01:
Did a factory reset and to my greatest surprise and shock, this tin cleared everything in my phone; photos and other files gone. I thought reset only clears apps. I jus weak

Factory reset wipes everything on any device whenever you initiate it.
It is not the same as installing an update...

so over 48rs now, no sign of my data.
is this not a breach of contract??...those saying i shud be patient, this is a straight forward biz transaction with defined timelines, so if i finally get my data after 60hrs, i shud be grateful that he eventually sent it.

in saner climes the seller would be all apologetic and throw in some freebies [extra data] to placate the buyer after such delays, but no in naija, people expect me to be grateful that he eventually sent the data, as if he is doing me any favour...SMD!
