So sad. Every good parent’s nightmare. May the Lord strengthen Francis Duru and his don. Very sorry. |
kenbee:So what is the difference between Adetshina and Adeshina? Are you trying to deceive yourself and confuse others that Adeshina is no longer Adeshina? |
Very old and disgraceful practice. They only mentioned what tourists experience at the hands of the shameless immigration officers, who in their positions do not know that the airport is the door into the country. They only talked about what is experienced at the counters. We should also talk about the experience while exiting aircrafts. All those “welcome” are not heartfelt, but borne out of their greedy desire to rip everyone, including Nigerians off. First time travelers receive horrors from immigration officers. With accusations of holding fake passports/visas to not seeing your face on their screen, just to rip you off. A few years ago, on arrival, an immigration lady told me that my face did not show up on her screen. I asked her what she meant and she asked me to stand aside while she attended to other disembarking passengers. Having spent over 10 minutes waiting and the crooked lady did not attend to me, I went back to her. I had just returned from Dubai, India and Malaysia. She saw the visas on my phone and I had used it to passport severally. When I started screaming, she called her boss, who then asked her what the problem was. When she gave her stupid story, her boss asked her to screen the passport again, right in my presence. Instantly my face came up and her boss apologized. I asked her to immediately apologize to me otherwise I would embarrass her instantly. She immediately apologized for her attempt to fleece me. Airports and border points are crooked areas for men and women in uniform to financially fleece everyone, irrespective of country or status. I hope the current internal affairs minister can clean up the mess. |
MrSly:Thank you very much for the correction. I had hurriedly posted without cross checking. |
CorrectionFLuid:Yes, I am. I am one of those who know how good societies work and wish our societies to work the same way. |
MunorAnne:And common sense did not tell you that it was an error that could have been corrected by you. Do you see why illiteracy is at that level in Nigeria with people like you? |
How many terms did he spend? That’s the man who showed his power to that barber at Banex plaza, Abuja. |
A national embarrassment anyway. Japan attained national literacy in 1900. That’s 124 years ago. When will Nigeria attain such a feat? Without doubt, education is a factor in fighting poverty. |
ngwaIgbo223:Response - NUCLEAR WAR! |
Such complaints have been there for several years. The same issue when a car develops fault around that Ojodu Berger - Ketu Alapere axis at odd hours. That third mainland area and adjoining routes have been dangerous for too long. They are grossly under policed and some security personnel have been accused of collaborating with the thieves. By the way, what about the cameras long talked about? Or do we only have cameras that capture drivers who offend with their car paperwork? |
Lifestone:Which face cover? We see the face well. The woman dey advertise her husband handwork as a hairdresser or stylist abeg. Untop she dey take risk. Women too dey follow male hairdressers. |
gspace1960:Lagos, 500. |
Bullfallo:So simple to say. Have you flown in an aircraft once? If you have flown an aircraft, have you encountered serious turbulence? Try it out and see if na ordinary mouth. |
MOSSAD = Absolute efficiency. |
Sonnobax15:Can we safely say something hold the two of them together? |
Botragelad:Sadly the Iranians may be overestimating their military capacity. They are forgetting that their intention to become a nuclear armed country will go up in flames, as the Israelis have vowed to terminate that plan. The Iranians assumed that the 10 months old war against Hamas has weakened the Israeli military. They may be incorrect, with the contribution of the Americans and some NATO members. The only reason that Iranians arm such group is the fact that those groups are at close proximity with Israel, guaranteeing them easier and quicker route to attack. A new war between Israel and the whole lot of them would see a reduction in their power. Are we sure that under existential threat, the Israelis will not resort to nuclear weapons? It is a closely guarded secret and those sorrounding nations pretend that they are non existent. With the avowed intention of axis of resistance to see the end of Israel, would the Israelis, whose leaders have entered into their nuclear bunkers now, sit by and watch? Our hope is that peaceful settlement can be achieved by all parties. Iran must exercise restraint, otherwise that country would be up in ruins very soon. |
EponObi:Please do not compare Obasanjo with Tinubu. There is no basis for comparison. Obasanjo remains way ahead of him on all fronts. Who discovered Nuhu Ribadu, presently used by Tinubu as the NSA? Obasanjo has the soundest economic team at all his tenures as either the head of state or President. Brave President? Which of the Presidents can you truly define as brave if not Obasanjo himself. Obasanjo built and commissioned the Warri (1978) and Kaduna refinery then military head of state, which was commissioned by Shagari in 1980. Obasanjo left a very solid economy as a military head of state and repeated the same as a civilian President. Tell us which other refineries apart from Port harcourt 2 have been built since 1965? Obasanjo left 24 the Nigerian airways with 24 aircrafts and the Nigerian national shipping line with over 20 ships, when he vacated office as the head of state? What happened to them all? I can give you a long list of his contributions to the development of Nigeria. Which of the Presidents weighs close to him? None! What would you expect Obasanjo to do, in the face of the massive corruption and tribal remarks against him by his own people. He set up the EFCC to tackle them and introduced privatization as a way forward. What happened thereafter? The same his people fought him on all fronts. Tinubu only tries to amend the grave error committed on the first day, with the “brave” face. |
Sonnobax15:He attacker the message and the messenger, except you did not understand the contents clearly. Joe Igbokwe had no business talking g so stupidly to them as an elder, in what clearly is their affair. He should face his own family and fix the country and try to get to his own community is he has a reputation there. |
maasoap:Well young man, this is not baba Ijebu, neither is it sporting bet. While Russia carries out its daily destruction in Ukraine, you may wish to find out what Russia can do to Ukraine if they push back into Russia. Or you may very well ask what it means by “existential threat”. Everyone prays for peace and a permanent solution. The problem should not be aggravated by the Iranians and their proxies. |
Are we going to see the use of nuclear weapons in a battle for the first time in contemporary times? I think Israel, facing an existential threat from Iran and the axis of evil will use nuclear weapons. |
With due respect, was that a white wedding? Which culture and practice is that please? |
The man sef no get small shame. Why e no fight man like am? E wan answer woman take win Olympics medal. |
The kidnapper/thieves killed their fellow thief and ended up as kidnapper/murderers in the net of the police. Now they have lost their freedom for life. Now no more loss of catalysts in that areas, as the thief/major buyer of stolen items/kidnappers/murderers eliminated their entire group by themselves. Car owners can have some peace of mind. |
Which kind life be this? No wonder the rich keep away from the poor with all their strength. |
It’s so sad that Bobrisky had a very inexperienced and poor lawyer advising him. He would not have served jail term if not for the carelessness of his lawyer. That said, hopefully, Nigerians as a whole have learnt lessons with the case of Bobrisky. Spraying money at occasions is our culture nationwide, but we can replace it with respectfully handing over such monies to the celebrants or collecting in boxes and handin over later. EFCC is asking us to stop abusing our money and it is right. We have some of the ugliest paper monies worldwide because of our poor handling. For Bobrisky too, hopeful prison time has taught him some lessons about life. Hopefully too, friends and rivals will not distance themselves from him, calling him an ex convict. He should be received, treated respectfully and allowed to peacefully get integrated into society again. |
One cannot understand how many of these Soludo groups exist in Anambra state. Right from the headbridge, there are those young people wearing black or yellow Tshirts with Solution inscribed on the back. You find them picking up everyone in the name of agberos. They extort bus drivers. The same goes for that Uga-Idemmili axis, with touts wearing solution just after Dozy Petrol station. Soludo should please help us control the activities of these men, as they use extra judicial means to harm citizens. |
Racoon:That exactly is it! BAT too was in a cabal that chased GEJ out of government and afflicted Nigerians with this level of hardship. Sadly they still shamelessly tell us that PDP wasted 16 years of oil boom while in power. |
gnykelly:Oga, do not worry about others and how they manage their homes. First do what I earlier advised about your own self and thereafter tell us how simple or easy it is. |
gnykelly:Get a good job that keeps you busy, probably traveling. Marry a wife, with a job that keeps her busy Make two babies. Come back and tell us how easy it is to clean your house and do the washing while very busy with your jobs and traveling frequently. |
usecondom:Only out of jail in January? She made up her mind to continue stealing while in prison, as the prison time was not enough. -Now no more a first time offender. -The judge can freely give her the 5 - 10 years that she needs in prison. -When she’s out, she can choose to become an armed robber. -The house being built by her father will be sold to recover the madam’s money. -No husband, no child for her -The crooked gateman can start his preaching in prison -They will see each other for the last time at their sentencing -A very worthless lady We truly need care when engaging these so called househelps. You try to be a good employee, pay good salary, make life easy, yet a lot of them pay back with evil. They either steal or kill. They prefer to get jobs in Lekki, V/I, Ikoyi or Apapa where they think only the affluent reside. She deserves 20 years in jail. |
DaddyYankee:And can you not see yourself already mourning? |
Gajagojo:We are saying the same thing. Do not be anxious. Please read again my initial comment. I wondered why people would forcefully impose their beliefs on others, in the lands and cities of the same people who are not of their faith. Sadly these same people do not permit preaching of your faith in their countries. |
