Sonnobax15:Not in anyway s wicked mother, but a woman desperate to see her child live. Even if the child stopped breathing in her mum’s hands, she still had some hope that something could be done. It was a very sad and painful situation. The nurse also had reason to celebrate in the sad situation. In all, an autopsy would have exonerated the nurse. These things happen all over the world. It’s so sad and so painful. May God console the family. And God protect the nurse and give her more wisdom and insight. |
Augustine2244:It’s not my business in anyway. You mentioned several countries as if you had visited them all. Bros, na pose you dey pose? Are you Mr. Alan Poser? |
Just imagine that? |
Augustine2244:Have you been to any of the countries that you mentioned? |
Sonnobax15:So which one do you prefer? A. Witchcraft night and day visitations, along with visible and invisible marks over your body, bad dreams and daily frustrations? B. Church surrounding with gospel and heavenly songs to enable you have peace of mind; free of marks on your body and filed with joy; plenty of noise day and night? If B is your option, please let us send some saxophone to help with the musical enjoyment. |
MIKOLOWISKA:Then you did not read it. |
That’s the way to go. Hopefully the handlers should not delay with follow up each time reports are made. OP, what’s the situation with the kidnap victims in Nkpologwu? Have they been released? I pray that Anambra state begins to breathe some fresh air and peace completely restored. |
Pakistan - one of the most dangerous countries for normal people to live. |
I think the drop in inflation is not caused by any real government effort. We all know that we have arrived the harvest season for farmers, so we expect farm products to begin to arrive in cities in large scale between now and October. Again, we all know that the price of flour has not reduced, not to talk of oil, sugar and petrol. |
Kobojunkieee:Read the below to clear your doubts. https://bestlagos.ng/dino-melaye-net-worth/ |
FreeStuffsNG:Please tell us what the responsibilities are that are different from what other local government have. Local government workers report to their offices accordingly as they are sanctioned for failing. Please tell us what some of the local governments in Lagos bring to the national purse that is better than what Port harcourt local government or oil rich local governments contribute. By the way, where are evidences of the “huge responsibilities” carried by LGAs in Lagos? Where are the infrastructures put in place by LGAs? Or are you talking about tiny public toilets or pako bridges? Your prayer should simply be that with the release of funds directly into their purses, going forward, local governments can make better use of them and show their inputs. |
LegendHero:How some of you comment without common sense beats imagination. With Lagos having so many local governments at the top financially, how do you expect developments to be at the same level? When you referred to Abia state, why did you not mention Osun state where Atakumosa received 1.8b. Why not mention Ekiti state or look out for local government areas in Jigawa, Kebbi or Yobe, where the local governments are poor? You blindly avoided the fact that the development of Lagos is uneven with the development of other states. Give the same resources to poor local government chairmen with integrity and see the difference. If you are not ashamed, you should ask the local government chairmen in Lagos what they have been doing with their funds. Go to Ojo and you will be ashamed. Go to Ajeromi/Ifelodun and you will bow your face in shame. |
Ibehchizzy:Very fantastic observation. Get yourself a bottle of wine please. |
He got part of his punishment already. The next would be in prison when he is arrested. |
Bobloco:Infact OP did not give the correct information regarding the price difference. About 10 years ago, a bag of flour went for approximately 4,000:00 (four thousand naira only), depending on the flour brand. It is easily verifiable with any old baker or flour dealer. Exactly one year ago, a bag of flour went for about 48,000:00, depending on the brand. Tinubu appeared and everything went haywire. Infact, flour has become scarce with many distributors unable to receive products, not to talk of selling to retailers. A bag goes for between 66K and 68K. We all know the story of eggs in the market. The minimum for a crate of eggs now is 4,500:00, with some selling a crate of eggs for 6,000;00. Please help us beg Tinubu and all APC supporters to have mercy on the country. How can they keep telling us that IGR increased and yet we cannot find value with the increase? We can no longer get our favorite meatpies at good rates. Good meatpies now are priced at 1,000 and above. Even our favorite soft drinks are fast become a mirage, with a bottle of coke going for 400 naira. Wetin we do APC abeg? |
emkz:So which of the Indian girls are you talking about please? |
emkz:Approachable to who? Africans? If you are talking about Africans in India, then you are mistaken. As an African, if you are not very careful around their ladies, the men attack you with cricket sticks, smashing your head! It is sad that Indian men rate their women as next to nothing. No wonder that against standard cultural practices, the women pay the dowries on their men. So many get away with it in India. Hopefully someday, they can make either death or public castration the penalty for this evil and violent act. |
What a funny excuse by the state government. If they are not Lagosians, then did they descend from the moon? What you sow, you reap. Buba Marwa as the governor of Lagos dealt with the menace of agberos and touts effectively and efficiently. Infact, they vanished completely, as many of them were shot on sight or arrest. Lagos was totally free of them until one baba became the governor in 1999. The rest is history, as they say, with touts and agberos used by politicians to secure their political seats and positions. Without doubt, Lagos state government knows what to do to put an end to this menace. There is no peace in the markets, streets, bus stops, public places, etc, with these set of human dregs of the earth. They boast that their oga is in power and they appear to be propped by some powers that we cannot describe. Infact they have elevated themselves to place barriers - just like policemen - on major roads to collect tolls from bus drivers in the mornings. Why not copy from Buba Marwa and see if the menace will not become history in a matter of days? Infact Marwa as the governor, effectively ended roaming the streets of Lagos with cows in 1996. Copy from him and let there be some form of control in Lagos. |
vengertime:And so owners of small farms should starve? You get sense o. I hope you have stopped eating eggs and other poultry products? And by the way, the word is not “monopolies” as written by you. |
But the bill was discarded today, so there’s nothing from it anymore. |
iamoyindamola:Wait until you are 51 and then ask yourself what you achieved with your own life. |
We must not forget that other nationals are able to possess Nigerian passports easily. There are too many West, East and Central African nationals who possess Nigerian passports. Anyway, obtaining citizenship and passports of other countries illegitimately must not be tolerated in any form. |
Are the using style style to say that they are letting Ganduje off the hook? |
Cleaning their toilets for them. Give two days and the places will be filled up again. Hopefully dirty citizens can put an end to it. When drainages are constructed, they must be covered to avoid open defacation and accidents, with people falling into them. Again public toilets must be made less expensive to use and located in more places for easy access. That’s the way forward. |
thesicilian:Copying from how your leaders take from you and others too! |
Damian911:Then you do not know that mathematics teachers are quite scare and therefore attract some of the biggest paychecks in the industry. If the ones that you know are not living well, then they are not in the right schools. They also can create jobs for themselves with private lessons. You may fact-check this too. |
extremelygolden:Now you are mathematically judging accountants and economists. |
stainzvill:Mathematically speaking, na lie I lie? |
Namaster:It is so sad to read this type of news. Uncountable couples battle with infertility daily, crying, begging God, ingesting different types of mixtures in the name of drugs, spend in millions and it is so hard for them. Those who have - even grown to the age of 8 as this little boy - kill them out of some careless acts. Reading through, you’d find that the man instantly regretting his irreplaceable loss and uncontrollable temper, displayed on his own son. How would he explain to himself, wife and other children that he doused his own little son with Petrol over 200 naira? So if that child was not his, he could easily have lit up the child? Murdering your child or even other humans has nothing to do with poverty. I think it is the function of horrible hearts of certain individuals. Even the poor who are not able to cater for the children, hand them over to those who can help them and everyone has peace. It then behoves on the guardian, as they are called, to take proper care. I hope that in all these, people can learn lessons and pray that such situations would never occur to them. The man definitely has lost his peace of mind for the rest of his life. With the thought of unconsciously killing his own son, he will never forgive himself. |
Politics and rubbish. |
Rilwayne001:Young man, the reason why you fight, bicker, insult, use juju to get leaders into positions is for them to make your societies better. If your leaders fail to fix infrastructure, provide amenities and make daily living better, then know that they failed you completely. You do not stand in the sun and rain to vote for people who you do not know, to go and embezzle public funds and impoverish you. That means government has its responsibilities, through the leaders that you appoint. If you fail to see it this way, you need some basic training on how good countries work. |
