samdaisi:Unfortunately Tinubu has no reason to withhold Edo state’s allocation. Do not also forget that Edo state is one of the biggest contributors to the national purse. Obaseki, aside from roads, has done quite well in Edo state. Institutions have become better with him. He paid 70K minimum wage long ago. He’s organized the modular refinery, etc. I expect PDP to win inspite of the braggadocio of APC and Shuaibu. |
JAWBONE:Unfortunately also, the state assembly is appealing. Again, the greedy Shuaibu who refused to allow PDP get a candidate from Edo central, supports an APC candidate from the same Edo central. Today he proclaimed himself an unofficial APC member. How can he remain there? The position is ceremonial for him. If PDO retains the seat this year, Shuaibu will never get any benefit as an ex deputy governor. He played his politics poorly. |
System202:Ah, one Nigerian terrorist spotted! |
Tjra:You should be ashamed of the party that you have supported where the federal government after dragging for ages only agreed on 70k yesterday. Edo state implemented the same 70K months ago. You baba is the worst error that you lot made when you voted. If you cannot reason, then wahala dey for you. |
Tjra:At least we have his real age and face. If shame go gree una, make una show us una papa age and face to show say hardship never finish them. The baba wey una dey support, e no get paper, e no get birth certificate. No peace for the wicked that you pretend not to know! |
Imagine the pot calling the kettle black. When this fellow say “after much begging…”, he should have added that it was the same about him begging to be released. He has cases that will put him in prison for some time in the name of activism, so he should shut his mouth and face his nonsense self. |
God1000:That’s why allowing Iran to possess nuclear weapons puts the whole world at risk. These people are armed by the Iranians and trained on how to manufacture these missiles. If they find their way with nuclear or chemical weapons, we must say bye bye to the world. An example clearly is found in Syria, where the President allowed the use of chemical weapons in his country in the war. |
Matabue1985:Marry first to know whether e simple as ABC as you talk am so. |
So with his own hands, the man handed his wife to someone else. Without doubt, the case is an attempted murder one and should keep him in jail for some time; probably seven years or so. While there, he can think deeply about his temper issues and his very bad manners. His wife would not bring him food in prison and would not be willing to visit him. No sex, no family, no friends, no consolation.…just him alone in prison. That was very foolish of him. He divorced the woman himself. Now the woman would not be willing to live in the same home with an ex convict. What a irresponsible act. |
VinnyBaba:If passed into law, when will it take effect. That should trouble you more bro. Tinubu will serve his first four years term and seek another four years. If it takes affect right away, Tinubu may be the first beneficiary of the plan. |
Nailly:Trash? Did you understand the words? You boasted over nothing. You showed complete lack of knowledge of the realities on ground with regards to you people. What’s the difference between the good people of Bayelsa state, whose farms, streams, creeks, rivers and farmlands have been degraded by several years of oil pollution, and certain parts of the north, where farm lands have been devastated by herdsmen and terrorists? Even as it stands, the greater chunk of food sold in your state are brought from the same north, inspite of the challenges. What’s the reason for your unnecessary response when it is no longer a secret that the entire nation is presently mismanaged by those in power? If after 8 years of Presidency and 2 years of Vice Presidency, your people still stagger and live in squalor in your claimed states and territories, what is your basis for boasting? Can you show us some undoubtable developments in your claimed areas, as evidence that life is much better now than it was exactly 15 years ago when GEJ started his ascendancy with the Presidency? |
Fantastic. That’s how many years ago, right in front of Federal Palace hotel, a German whose Mercedes car was stolen in Germany, saw his car being driven. The car had the sticker the man placed by himself. The man seeing the car was very sure and shouted. The car was stopped and people surrounded it. Everybody shouted “oya straight to police station”. The driver of the car was perplexed as he bought the car from a car stand in Lagos. |
He killed himself too! What was he doing with a shovel? Abi na bricklayer? Maybe he thought that he was packing sand or stones. He used the shovel to effect “moderate correction” on his son over a minor matter. Now he will spend the rest of his life in a correction center, getting corrected by hard men. What a sad story. What then did he have children for, seeing that he would kill one in the future inadvertently? All his remaining days would be pain. The pain of losing his son. The pain of not controlling his temper. The pain of spending his days in prison. If he could rewind the hands of the clock, he would have handled the matter in a different way. This feeling could kill him slowly. No matter how far he runs, he would be caught. If he’s not caught, he would remain a fugitive with plenty of regret. This is very unfortunate. |
Vision101:Local governments electoral commission? Why did they put it that way? Why have they overlooked INEC? How can they guarantee fairness? Have they still not played into the hands of governors, seeing that governors, both serving and ex are not happy about the Supreme Court ruling? What would be the difference between state electoral commissions and local government electoral commissions? Who are those to be appointed into the respective offices nationwide? Won’t they be card carrying members of the respective states leadership? Our politicians everyday device means of playing the people. The people, rather than wake up and ask for accountability, support them with their very oppressive policies. |
Correctly stated by Charlie boy. |
Even Tinubu sef tire for everything. By now I think he should be wishing his tenure to speedily be completed so that he can go back home. After all he achieved his life long ambition. |
She saved herself money and stress. She saved him money and stress. If he thinks that she’s no longer his specification, he’s free to move on. For her, no more long hours in the salon, no more long hours facing the mirror. If she’s working, she can focus more on her job. Her beauty is no less. There are too many ladies who it there with the same haircut and with peace of mind. See the boy yansh as e be like palmwine tapper wey dey come down from palm tree. |
This is a very irresponsible publication. It is not only disgusting, but highly and unnecessarily degrading of such a man. Whoever is behind this should be speedily apprehended and prosecuted. For me, the story ended the moment I read that the so called complainant got the contact of the Oba on Facebook. Which responsible citizen, knowing the amounts of scams out there, would reach the Oba directly on his Facebook account? First the complainant must know that the Oba in his capacity would never respond directly to anyone on Facebook. The complainant can please stop troubling us with this defamatory publication. |
That appears like a culture with the banks. They undervalue the property, sell and purchase it within themselves and tell you that you remain indebted to them! |
leokid866:The kid in your moniker gives you away as a very young man, with no experience. You just jumped into a matter that you absolutely know nothing about. So in all these, you have not found that have been lying to yourself and deceiving yourself and gullible persons around you? And to you PDP years were not 1999 to 2015? Or you did not read what you wrote, when you brought up 2006? How is it so difficult for you to ask immigration officers this same question? Or you do not know how to locate one around you? Alright. Get Festac. Get to Obalende and ask any immigration officer or make your enquiry in any business center in those places. |
leokid866:Have you bothered to ask any immigration officer working between 1999 and 2006 how long it took to get passports? If you worked anywhere in 1983, how did the passports look like? Where was the passport building and how did it look like? |
tishbite42:Just hear yourself. Have you heard the words “pot calling kettle black”? A man publicly viewed an accused of stuffing his clothes with unaccountable money, accusing someone else of looting funds from the palace. Who sounds like the broken record please? Granted that Ado Bayero was expected to succceed his father as the Emir, Sanusi became the Emir. If you say Sanusi Kwakwanso’s Emir, how have you forgotten to call Ado Bayero as Ganduje’s Emir? Ado Bayero was the Kingmakers choice and yet someone else became the Emir? Abba Yusuf acting like a mad man? And Ganduje acted as a sane man, when out of politics, he dethroned an Emir who helped him to power. Look, when it comes to royal thrones, there are always battles. Kano is one of them. The only royal throne that is immune from politicisation in Nigeria is probably the Obaship of Benin. This is because there is no contest for the throne: the first son of an Oba of Benin succeeds him under a much-cherished primogeniture system. But for most of the other traditional rulers, choosing a successor is a fight to the finish, often involving unroyal, cloak-and-dagger behaviors. Where is the confusion with Abba Yusuf, according to you? |
Must the President order security personnel to carry out assignments that they are heavily paid to do? With all the soldiers, navy, airforce, police, Tantita, VIO, mobile police, ex service men, etc, how have a few people been subverting the economy with such impunity over the years? If there’s no collaboration, why is it difficult to end? Does Biden need to order US military to protect their country’s natural resources? |
ogagun1:The loser here is Ado Bayero. But can we determine if the decision cannot be reversed in the future? No. Notice that it was all high powered politics. Sanusi appeared too hard to control to the same people that he helped to power. Ganduje used his executive power to dethrone him. Now that was not the first time when first class kings would be dethroned in the north. Sanusi took it in his stride. His late friend Herbert Wigwe sent an aircraft to pick him up when Ganduje had determined total humiliation. Ado Bayero ascended the throne and everywhere was calm. Today APC is no longer in power. Another group supported by Sanusi has attained power and restored him. Ado Bayero has felt humiliated. Now he feels the same pain that Sanusi felt. Fighting back for the throne would do him no good, at least for the next 4 years of NNPP governorship. As long as NNPP remains in power, he will not get there. He tasted the power of the Emir of Kano and wants it. Unfortunately he will keep getting humiliated. Sanusi is not helpless. He played his game silently and meticulously. All Ado Bayero needs to do is to support another party and see if he can return. The federal courts do not have powers in such matters, so he further wastes his time. He should return to his palace as a second class king for now and remain there. He is the helpless one presently. You can see from the governor that he was frustrated by Ganduje too. Do not forget that they were opponents in 2009. He was leading when APC brought their wayo at the second ballot. He became the governor and pulled down all Ganduje’s structures. Ado Bayero is a victim of Kano politics, just like Sanusi. They are victims of the political forces that they support. Ganduje balkanised the throne out of anger and this Kano governor has tried to restore it to its original form. Recreating second class Kings is just to make them all feel happy and allow peace to reign. The governor listened to wise counsel and this is the result. You all please advise Bayero to return to his previous location. Remind him that he who fights and runs away, lives to fight another day. |
leokid866:Are you above 30? Yes or no. If you are below 30, how did you get a passport in 2006 when you were 12 years old or below, except it was procured for you by your parents or guardian? With no experience whatsoever about passport procurement from the 70s up till 2014, how can you talk about it with me? In that same 2006, you’d fill your forms with the immigration officer, in any of the immigration offices, pay your charge to them, sit down, get captured and pick up the same day before close of work. In the 70s up till the 80s in Lagos, when you were not born and the military was in control, you’d get to passport office Kakawa street, off broad street Lagos, apply for your passport, produce your passport photos, sign your forms and be asked to return in a few days, not later than one week. Where were you then? My passports have always been for five years. In 2003, I got a replacement for my passport obtained in 1999, the same day in Festac and PDP was in power. I got for my family all the PDP years, up till 2014. Your Buhari ruined it all with the failure to produce passports. Tinubu met it. He brought Buhari to power and is part of it. I have travelled severally and very experienced and I am far older than you. Young and inexperienced man, ask any immigration officer who served during the PDP days if passports were not procured same day and stop wasting my time over what you know nothing about. |
These players must be punished without delay. |
leokid866:Young man, you are talking with one very conversant with what he is talking about. What you do not know anything about, listen and ask questions. Pride makes a lot of you miss your way. You can feel free to ask anyone who got a passport in the PDP days for his/her personal experience. I do not perceive you as one beyond thirty years of age and so you are too young to talk about personal experiences at Obasanjo’s tenure between 24 and 17 years ago. Talk about passports as from 2015 and feel free if you have the personal experience, because you had come of age. Once again stop arguing blindly about what you know absolutely nothing about. |
“tech entrepreneur”. Na wah. |
The wickedness and desperation of some citizens is truly unbelievable. How are some citizens able to pull off these despicable acts? |
tobenuel:Nothing increased for him. The behavior entered his blood and completely possessed him. |
leokid866:Westin you no know pass you. Ask those like me who experienced it before commenting. |
helinues:You see your life so got public? Who’s talking about 2016? Bros you get problem true true. |
