The one important aspect to point out is that Israel’s air force comprises the most modern fighter aircraft like F-15s, F-16s, and F-35s. But that is not the case for Iran.

In Israel’s possession is also its famed multi-tiered aerial defence system, which includes the Iron Dome , David’s Sling, Arrow as well as The Patriot.

However, Iran’s missile arsenal is incomparable. It is actually brilliant and it's effect is positive on the environment and their livelihoods.
Single Use Plastics are more expensive and the social cost is becoming unbearable to the rest of us not in the sectors profiting from the use of SUPs. The sachet water has since outlived its usefulness and has turned to complete nuisance apart from making water more expensive.
These old archaic environmental practices need to give way and I am profoundly proud that my Lagos State is taking the lead.

The waste has started reducing since the ban on Styrofoam and once we sort out the SUP of bottled water and waste sachet from pure water, we would have solved a huge environmental and economic problem.

The bottled water can come in cheap reusable plastics while sachet water will suddenly become more expensive so the stakeholders now earn more margins as more people move to bottled water.

Jan 2025 is long enough advance notice and I urge the stakeholders to cooperate with the Lagos State Government.

I cannot understand this thinking please. You move from satchets and PET bottles to reusable plastics? What’s the difference in terms of the sane environmental degradation talked about please? Would the same reusable plastics not find themselves to the same drainages and streets in the end?

PET bottles are common practices worldwide, with people of more advanced countries still in the businesses of purchasing clean and safe water.

The problem does not have to do with the plastics or satchets, but the mindset of the citizens. When people are not hygiene conscious, you must work to change that first, otherwise the societies remain the same. If there are serious punishments against those who pollute the environments, then you can have some peace, knowing that you did the job.

Again, where will people get safe and clean water from, knowing that most areas do not have it? Government must ensure that the citizens are connected with water, pay their charges and get supplied.

Unfortunately Iran acted to fast. Iran only needed a concrete strategic military alliance with Russia to serve as a deterrent. That had not been done. Sending drones, cruise and ballistic missiles to Russia to aid the attack on Ukraine is it the same as the mutual military defence alliance between the USA and Israel.

Nuclear armored Turkey recently threatened to attack Israel, but were warned and stopped. When you threaten Israel, you threaten USA, UK, Germany and all parties to the mutual treaty with the state of Israel. Compare that to Iran who only finance Hezbollah, Houthi rebels, Shia militants in Iraq, Hamas, etc.

If total war breaks out, Russia can only supply weapons to help out. The Russians are pressed with their war in Europe. Aside from its eight year war against Iraq, the Iranians have not faced such battle as this, even as they claim to be ready.

Our hope is that a total war within that region, which will be catastrophic, does not break out.

However, note that Israel will respond with a strong hand. If Iran replies, the country will be in shambles and the level of human displacement would be such as not seen following the two world wars.
