Thank you for the information. That’s great! |
It does not matter, so long as he flew safely to and fro. The issue should be upgrading and refitting the Presidential aircrafts for his use and saving the nation the cost of purchasing a new one at a very humongous price. |
Fantastic! |
immortalcrown:We have only heard the current situation of things with Davido and the Adelekes. Unfortunately the relationship between the two parents has not been existing since the birth of the baby. How Davido turned out to dislike the lady, is a matter that we have not been told. But I wonder if Davido would have treated Sophia Momodu in that manner, if Dele Momodu was her biological father. Or has she been badly treated, believing that her father was nobody, Dele Momodu’s brother was nobody? The intervention of Dele Momodu restored confidence in the young lady. From the beginning, it appeared like the Adelekes wanted to take the child off her mum and send her mum away empty. With so much wealth and power, they could achieve it, if not for the intervention of Mr. Dele Momodu. This story has lingered since 2015 when the baby was born. Now @9 years old and deeply loved by the Adelekes, going to the court appears as a more legal method of getting the baby off her mom. The lady too must accept entitlements given to her by the Adelekes because of the baby, for peace to reign. I think the present attempt by Davido to get custody of the baby, stems from what he sees as a drop in the level of the little girl’s standard of living. |
TruthsFM:I think PDP will carry the day. One area of concern again is the issue of rigging in Nigerian politics. With INEC not trusted to make decent changes, how can elections get better? With the propensity of Nigerian politicians to rig elections and force wrong candidates on citizens, what must be done. Even the citizens seem to enjoy voting for wrong leaders and shedding crocodile tears for four years. What can be done, especially to the bribe living ones among us. Hopefully new electoral bills can be passed at the National Assembly to strengthen our electoral laws and deepen our democracy. Cheers bro. |
wallrichy:You made a good submission bro. You clearly understood what I tried to say. |
TruthsFM:That’s you choice. Unfortunately you do not know that even APC knows that they cannot defeat PDP in Edo state, with the present position of Obaseki. And by the way, are you not tired of the now nine locust years of APC in power? |
RussellRutherfo:I wonder what is it with idiots like you whose stock in trade on social media spaces is abuse. I did not expect you to state your age as you were not born by then. Your father should be the one sharing views with me, that’s if he’s up to age mentally, as you have clearly depicted who he is looking at your uncalled for insults. You cannot give first hand information of what you know nothing about, except the songs that you have heard from Fela. You have absolutely nothing to say on Abiola, IBB, their families and the political events in Nigeria between 1991 and 1999. You were not born. Is your unknown father any better than Abiola who you have chosen to vilify? Unfortunately a forum like this allows vagabonds like you to participate and insult just anyone that you meet. Anyway, with no idea of what to say, you clearly exhibited your poverty of mind, character and living. You must be one of those dregs, who hijack trucks of foods to get something to eat, without doubt. There you are absolutely frustrated and wallowing in abject poverty from your wrong choice of support. |
If this is done in Festac Town.If you dey marry wife for Festac, Ajao estate, Ago Okota, Aguda, sleep fit nor dey your eyes o. Some of the married women na gym instructors, barbers, aboki gatemen, drivers, etc dey helep oga brush im wife o. Anything can happen in those areas with married women. |
What’s the business of IPMAN with suggesting or determining the cost of petroleum products for Dangote? With the yeye idea, if fir example, Dangote wanted to sell at 300, these greedy IPMAN people, would make it higher, so that they can benefit more. That’s the challenge with diesel price today. |
Kingdavid579:Was Wike good enough when he was brought in by GEJ and his wife and handed over to Dr. Victor Odili as the candidate? Was Wike good enough when he became a federal minister? Wike was not good enough, but the people who introduced him were strong enough to secure the seat for him. Why won’t you young men take your time to wonder why Wike brought a civil servant, of all the people available to make him the governor. Have you not wondered why Wike kept him in the government house why EFCC was looking for him? Have you not wondered where Fubara was for most parts of the election campaign? Wike was never and is still not a master politician. He muscled his way and using his seat as governor, pushed away everyone around him, including the good. He engaged in unnecessary fights, while trying to make himself the political godfather in Rivers state. Now he has failed. Without Tinubu, Wike has become a political liability, even with the wealth. So no political godson has the strength to get himself the seat. It takes people with the resources to get him there. When they leave the person, he’s gone. You saw the case in Lagos with Ambode. When the BAT and GAC turned their back against him, he lost the seat. |
hurryup123:It failed in Oyo state. It failed in Kano state. It failed in Kaduna state. It failed in Edo state. Not only has it failed in Rivers state, Wike’s so called structure has been dismantled. It will be difficult for Wike to dislodge Fubara, with the strength of the Ijaws in Rivers state. As usual, Wike made a mistake. This time he got someone tougher than him in Fubara to contend with. |
Better for Shuaibu. Those who built PDP, on their own, handed over power to APC out of their greed. Shuaibu can return officially to APC. Dan Orbih has not been at peace with Obaseki for four years. He may officially join APC, along with others. I do not see APC returning to power in Edo state, with the amount of misery imposed on citizens by the party nationwide. Obaseki has made a lot of amendments in many areas and should hold his ground to keep Edo for PDP. |
Ah. So the kidnappers got away with the 3 million dollars? I sincerely hope and believe that they will get caught at the shortest possible time. |
AreaFada2:Thank you so very much for this detailed explanation of the procedures and workings of the palace. Your write up was one area that I wanted to understand. My concern was that Akpata could have used those words out of some innocence and being an illustrious son of the soil, should have been accorded some respect, by reminding him of his societal social standing privately. Thank you for your dignified response. |
RussellRutherfo:In all you failed to state your age as evidence that you were in existence at the said time. It is very unfortunate that we have nuisances and miscreants like you on such a platform as this. With nothing to say or nothing to share, your likes speedily resort to abuses and insults on people who you cannot lace their shoes. You know absolutely nothing about what you referred to and unfortunately will never know in the whole of your miserable life. The riot that you referred to, you will be able to talk about it, as you were not born then. Shame on you, a complete dullard. |
RussellRutherfo:Just shut your mouth up and do not put your mouth where you absolutely know nothing about. You were probably not born then or maybe you were a toddler. You need to ask those who were present then about the events and who MKO Abiola was. |
Obaaderemi2:Alright, let’s say that those were the words of OP. There are no seeds of discord sown by OP. Did you see the words used by Kemi Olunloyo to describe Ijebus? With due respect, can you not see some anger at that particular group of Yorubas,by a fellow Yoruba from Oyo state? My question is not centered on abuse or making mockery of other tribes, as you have appeared to misunderstand with OP’s comment. I just wanted to use the Yoruba lens to look at our tribes, to know if the same issues raised by Olunloyo are found among them. If they are, what can be done to foster unity among our people. Let’s look at it with decorum and respect. |
Very horrible. I think this scrap business must be outrightly banned by government. People fail to pay taxes, yet when government puts together funds to make build proper structures for the enjoyment of citizens, some irresponsible fellows choose to make a living out of vandalizing them. A ban to scrap business will help and very long prison terms should serve as deterrents. |
“ compared to the lower yoruba groups…”. That’s what Kemi Olunloyo said. Are there lower Yorubas and higher Yorubas? Is there any form of discrimination or outright racism within the different Yoruba groups? Can someone please clear this in a decent manner. We can also use it to look into our different tribes and people, who speak the same language and yet have some very fundamental but serious differences. |
God1000:Old friend? Putin was born in 1952, making his age at 72. Kim Nung Un was born either in 1983 or 1984, as his exact birthday was shrouded in mystery. He became the North Korean leader in 2011, making it 13 years. Their present friendship is simply strategic. Before now, there have been instances where Russia's actions have been perceived as sabotaging North Korean interests, although the extent of such actions is debated. Some examples include: 1. Voting for UN sanctions: Russia has supported UN Security Council resolutions imposing sanctions on North Korea, which has limited the country's economic opportunities. 2. Limiting economic cooperation: Russia has been cautious in expanding economic ties with North Korea, partly due to international pressure and sanctions. 3. Not supporting North Korea's military actions: Russia has not publicly supported North Korea's military actions, such as missile tests, and has called for restraint. 4. Diplomatic efforts: Russia has engaged in diplomatic efforts to resolve the Korean Peninsula issue, which has sometimes been seen as not fully aligning with North Korea's interests. It is important to note that Russia's relationship with North Korea is complex, and while there may be instances of perceived sabotage, Russia has also maintained a diplomatic relationship with North Korea and supported its sovereignty. Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un have had a complex relationship over the years, with various interactions and roles played by Putin in relation to Kim Jong Un and North Korea. Some of these roles include: 1. Diplomatic mediator: Putin has attempted to mediate between North Korea and other nations, particularly the United States, to ease tensions and negotiate denuclearization. 2. Economic supporter: Russia has provided economic support to North Korea, including energy supplies and joint development projects. 3. Military cooperation: Russia and North Korea have engaged in military cooperation, including joint exercises and weapons sales. 4. Counterbalance to US influence: Putin has sought to counterbalance US influence in the region by maintaining good relations with North Korea and supporting its sovereignty. 5. International advocate: Putin has advocated for North Korea's interests on the international stage, including opposing harsh sanctions and promoting dialogue. It's important to note that Putin's roles have evolved over time, and his relationship with Kim Jong Un has been shaped by various geopolitical factors. However the attempt by Putin and China to reshape international politics, has led Putin to seek more strategic interests with the likes of North Korea, Iran and China. In the final analysis, they are not old friends, as their political relationship only took off after 2011. Now they move it yo a higher level to counter balance ZUSA/NATO as earlier stated. |
The effrontery of the ex local government chairmen is unbelievable. I thought that local government chairmen are usually loyal to the governor. These men showed their absolute contempt for the governor and were willing to go further steps with him in battle. The youths of the state showed us exactly what it can be like with the citizens are tired of horrible leaders. They took charge and restored normalcy. For those like this Okocha, who in their figment of imagination thought that the entire state would be engulfed in violence, I say shame on them. Now those greedy ex local government chairmen and their cohorts who thought that they could turn the constitution on its head, especially Nwanosike, should be confined to the dustbin of political history in the state. Just as his name, Nwanosike, he was not willing to relinquish the position. They were very uncaring and thought that Wike could use unknown powers from Abuja to protect them. Fubara has turned out to be Mr. Talk and do. I hope that this is a lesson to the so called political godfathers, who plant their stooges to continue looting the resources of their states. Fubara is urged to ensure good governance and accountability in tbe state. At the end of his first tenure, his works must be enough to secure him a second tenure, where the people can have a far greater and better state than he met it. I say congratulations to the citizens of Rivers state, who showed exactly citizens must fight for their rights. Now they must join hands with the governor to enjoy the dividends of democracy. |
Thewrath:Now you understand it. They say “e hold am for blokos”. |
yyba:Yes, the same Fubara who was hidden by his oga as we were told, so some secrets could be covered. That same Fubara presently is the governor. By the way, do you think that Fubara could have looted 435 billion of state funds without the instructions of his oga? |
At least now there is peace. The fall out shows the loss of power and political structure by Wike. If not for the Abuja appointment, Wike might have become persona non grata. Fubara is the man of the moment. As is customary with Rivets state, when his tenure ends, he must equally vacate in peace, otherwise the people will make him vacate in pieces! |
With hunger in the land? APC ebi n pawa o! So tay na to cannibalize dead whale. Na to attack the food from anywhere with machete. Make ocean no carry any of those people because of whale. Make people no take am fight o. |
Very correct by the Professor. However there is a bill that must be sponsored and passed. That bill is the one to prescribe the death penalty for looting of public funds. They will never do that. However if it can be done, Nigeria will be listed among the most developed countries on earth speedily. |
Christistruth00:How old were you in1993? |
The best player on earth against one of the best defenders in Spain then. Their clashes were always intense. |
Bitterkola100:I laugh at you Mr. Teacher? You failed to respond to the very clear questions about how the Oba relates to his people, out of your ego and arrogance. What did you expect Akpata to do in the heat of the moment, while visiting your man god and lord? You did not expect him out of his joy, respect and happiness to look at himself as one with his father, the King? If he made the error publicly in the hear of the moment, would it be wrong for the same palace people to attention to it and correct him privately, as a so called illustrious son? I think you are the one clearly with comprehension and emotion issues, when you could not in simple terms explain to everyone here how the King/citizens relationship works within the Benin society, enabling good decent discussions about traditions not only of the Benin people, but others. Adieu. |
DMerciful01:And one day one sorrow, dedicated to you. |
How did he summon the strength to overpower his fellow man and rape him? Did he tie the fellow up or hold him at gun point? And the victim did not attempt to fight him or harm him? What sort of a lazy man was that? Man like you try to rape you and you never first injure am or finish him life for am? Did he use charms? What a shame. That rapist deserves castration. |
