Nwebonyi’s remarks were completely defamatory. If he gets away with it, he is very lucky. He lost control of himself with his eye service in favour of Akpabio. |
Sterope:What a very hypocritical comment. Non Muslims are not allowed in Mecca, which is the Muslim holy land, while “non Christians” can visit the Vatican, which is considered the Christian version. Why did you not say “Muslims can visit the Vatican”, rather than generalize it. And you think that it is appropriate? Thankfully we have a certain Mr. Donald Trump in power. And hopefully the Conservative party can win in the UK. I hope you know that that hypocrisy is not permitted I. Australia? |
SmartyPants:When you make such comments as that without looking at political history, how can you see the relationship? |
SmartyPants:Be reminded that Buhari went from APP to CPC and finally APC. He retired and was recruited from retirement. Tinubu went from AD to AC to ACN and finally APC. While in ACN, his party’s candidate was Nuhu Ribadu, but he supported GEJ who was the candidate of PDP in 2011. He nearly gave up until he found a Buhari in 2014. Read and don’t jump into comments. Clearly changing political affiliations may not translate to victory if the leader fails to live up to his promises. |
Vixlot:So what’s the difference between what Mr. Peter Obi stated and what you commented. Having moved from party to party, did that in anyway remove the fact that those who support him continue and those who prefer Tinubu/Atiku/ etc continue with the own choices? Simply stated, you choose those that you believe to deliver good governance. Some of those governors like Eno, Fubara, and Sheriff are known to be puppets. How do you expect their movement to other parties translate to victory at the next elections if they fail to deliver good governance? How do you expect their defections to translate to victory at the next elections if the fail to fix their societies? Understanding what is talked about is very crucial. |
The word for me was “reptilian”. The guy truly acts and looks like one. |
BATified2023:Maybe you think that there’s a similarity between a cult fights and real wars. Maybe you think that there’s a similarity between shooting one or two guns with throwing bombs, grenades, rockets and destruction of whole towns and villages. You have never been to the east, so do not bother. You do not know what happens there. And by the way, there’s no similarity between the events in some communities there and real wars. Your business ends in the SW where you support APC. To you, shooting guns at school campuses or bus stops is similar to real wars. Pray that you never experience it. I am very sure that I am far older and more experienced than you are. Tell yourself how old you were when the Liberian war was fought. If you tell yourself how old, then you can determine that I am not of the same age with you. Ask anyone who was also in Liberia during the war and evacuated, what the experience was. That should help you determine that I no be your age mate. |
tinsel:I asked if you ever saw war and you evaded it. Can you please answer that simple question? Even if you have not been in a war area, have you ever witnessed where bombs were thrown? I am very certain that I am by far older than you are. |
jamafa:No sir. If you have personally experienced it, tell us how it feels. |
Very vengeful Wike ensured that he remained in PDP to destroy the party and then, just at the eve of the next Presidential election, defect to APC to retain his position in the APC run government. He pushed Umahi away, pushed Obi away, pushed Atiku away and the confusion in the party now ensured that governors and members of the NASS leave the party in droves. The reality of it all is the saying “soldier go, soldier come”. Those like Makinde who remain in PDP can only ensure that Wike is removed from the party along with his co-sojourners. That way they can rebuild and certainly better hands can get into the party. The truth remains that PDP remains the better choice over APC. |
GreatChizzy:What’s the difference between getting displaced in your community by heavily armed men who kill your people indiscriminately, take over your lands and a civil war? You probably have not heard the booms of GPMGs, bombs and grenades before. Ask hose who have been displaced nationwide to tell you how it feels. |
EvilMerodack:Did you hear of kidnappings, daylight robbery, insecurity, herdsmen, rapes and other crime in other parts of the country not at war? Is the whole country not at war, the way it stands now? Can you tell us how safe communities and roads all over the country are now? Can you compare it with 1968 - 1970? You’re not under oath to comment. If you are not sure of what to say, just go dey preach for sports section. |
APCNig:Did you forget to mention that she’s extremely wealthy? Did you forget to mention that while you do not have one child yet, she has four and gives them the best of life? Did you forget that her children, because of their mom’s position in the society, are already ahead of you? You failed to mention that she’s a lawyer and a distinguished Senator. Please post your achievements in life so far. |
wilson2:If he does not have valid papers to keep him in India, it will be deportation after serving jail time. It the action was not necessary. Quick temper. Again, he probably did not have documents and wanted to box his way out. |
Sure, without your passport you can travel. However be prepared for exploitation at the borders. The big transport companies demand your international passports for stamping at the various border posts. The drivers negotiate their way at the border posts if you do not have your passport. Again prepare for embarrassing questions and actions if you do not have a passport. |
Beniyke1:Exactly. We are told about the Executive, the legislators and the judiciary in democratic settings. If it is so, it presupposes that each arm should have and enjoy its own budget. If the executive and legislative arms can provide extensively for themselves from their budgets, why does the judiciary not have such benefit? What is the business of Governors and FCT ministers with providing accomodation and basic needs to members of the judiciary? Is that not promoting corruption and shielding such persons from potential prosecution? Should the budget of the FCT not be used to make lives better for the citizens, providing basic needs and infrastructures in all the parts of the FCT? |
Nwaikpe:Umahi finally swallowed his pride and answered a simple question days after he was asked. Probably the response of Governor Makinde humbled him. Even at that he responded arrogantly to Governor Makinde. Umahi with his acclaimed knowledge, forgot that Governor Makinde answers such simple accountability questions daily as an Engineer. Now I think Umahi, Ebonyi youths and others who abused Rufai Oseni should swallow their pride and apologize to him. Certainly with Umahi’s costing, even his supporters by now should be asking him simple accountability questions. |
Kukutente23:He is even very arrogant with his display of lack of knowledge. So sad about some of our youths. No wonder different leaders keep calling them lazy. |
Putindbutt:Stop arrogantly displaying your ignorance. Wike had been attending the council of state meeting since he became the Minister. A simple search would have erased your lack of information. Even Wike himself will be laughing at you and Lere Olayinka his boy. |
richmond500:Don’t mind them all. No commonsense. Wike did not attend, yet he sent the Minister of state, Mariya Mahmoud, his junior Minister. She was in that meeting. What was the meaning? Why did he send her? If the Minister could not attend, why then should a junior Minister attend. When it is election result counting, Abuja becomes a state with the Minister as the Governor, but thereafter the Minister is no longer recognized as a Governor. Never mind the APC people and their chronically blind supporters. Ask if Wike had not been attending the council of states meeting and they will deny it. They know absolutely nothing about it. Read the below link: https://www.thisdaylive.com/2024/08/13/tinubu-presides-over-national-council-of-states-meeting/ |
Ttalk:The same man who could not read what was written by him on the same floor? If he could not read what he wrote, how would he know what he talks about? Such a disgrace to Ibadan people that such men unlearned people represent them. Why not tell us that Ibadan alone is bigger than the whole of Lagos state, Ekiti or Osun states? Or are each of the mentioned states bigger than the entire SE. This rubbish and insult on the SE must stop. |
PigTormentor:Next time if English is so difficult to write, you may simply write in your language if you are able, for better understanding. You can only go to equity with clean hands. Your poorly written English perfectly described you! |
9jatriot:Avoid scrutiny and yet was a governor for two terms? Avoid scrutiny and yet was a bank chairman? Avoid scrutiny and contested the Presidency? Avoid scrutiny and yet you could not get your transport fare to go to his schools to find out? Avoid scrutiny, yet copies of his credentials fly around daily? Show us the law that demanded that he should submit his degree please. Avoid scrutiny and yet telling people to please fact check his documents? Why can you not pay transport within Nigeria to find out? Abi is the BAT imposed hardship so tough with you? |
yarimo:Did I not see “chears” in your comment? Were you trying to say “cheers”? Don’t tell me that it is typo error. No dey spoil yourself like this everytime. |
Hopefully police personnel on highway patrol will follow the order. Particularly the ones on Lagos - Shagamu - Ore - Benin highway. |
So so so sad. He and his wife never knew what was coming next. May the family be consoled. |
Minjim:How did you look at the road and avoid looking at the drainage from the picture copied and pasted by your very own self? |
Very wrong information. Which road was washed away? That fellow who posted that video sent false narratives. He must be one of those opposed to the governor and a spoiler. The video posted did not show any destroyed road, but a flooded road. At this period, Anambra and Delta states are heavily exposed to flooding, largely because of the rivers. Go and look at that same road today after that flooding and you will find it intact. Flooding is a worldwide problem. It is nature and there’s not much that can be done about it, otherwise developed countries would not be facing it by now. That road was well built and no deception about it. All roads constructed by Soludo’s administration are solidly made and easily verifiable. Even that video shows us the drainages. They were overwhelmed by the heavy rains and floods that followed. When it floods, cars and houses are affected. That fellow should be told to stop embarrassing himself with his video. |
anonimi:Exactly they way it all went. I have followed Atiku and OBJ for far too many years, just as I have followed BAT. Thank you for this. |
Burob:- A political failure and he won the governorship of his state. - A political failure and your OBJ singled him out of five contenders in 1999, to facilitate his election as the President. - A political failure and OBJ knelt to beg him to remain as the President in 2003. - A political failure and yet the Vice President for two terms. If that is how you define a political failure, then you should surrender yourself to be used as a research in understanding of words abeg. |
mascot87:Failing since 1993? Maybe you have a different definition of who a failure is. Do you want to tell us please? Lack of information should not be displayed publicly with arrogance. Since 1993, Atiku became the leader of PDF, late Shehu Musa Yaradua’s political machine. That machine got him the governorship of Adamawa state in 1999. Atiku was needed to secure northern votes when OBJ contested the presidency in 1999. He helped OBJ become the President and he in turn was the vice for two terms. OBJ begged him for survival in 2003. Atiku is a very wealthy Nigerian and except by an act of God, will never know poverty in his life. He owns among others, the American university in Adamawa. He’s a player in all major sectors of the economy, including maritime. He has installed governors, Kings and leaders. He commands governors, Kings and leaders. He is a family man with wives and children. He is recognized locally and internationally. Take your time to read Atiku’s profile and tell yourself the truth. If not becoming the President is considered by you as a failure, then you definitely need to try to contest as a councillor in your ward to tell us how it feels like. Tell us how he is a failure. |

How can a man who has been in 4 different parties criticise party jumpers? He obviously can't, so what we have here are Obidients saying one thing while their oga at the top says something else entirely!
