So what’s the difference between what Mr. Peter Obi stated and what you commented. Very vengeful Wike ensured that he remained in PDP to destroy the party and then, just at the eve of the next Presidential election, defect to APC to retain his position in the APC run government.

He pushed Umahi away, pushed Obi away, pushed Atiku away and the confusion in the party now ensured that governors and members of the NASS leave the party in droves.

If the executive and legislative arms can provide extensively for themselves from their budgets, why does the judiciary not have such benefit?

What is the business of Governors and FCT ministers with providing accomodation and basic needs to members of the judiciary? Is that not promoting corruption and shielding such persons from potential prosecution? Should the budget of the FCT not be used to make lives better for the citizens, providing basic needs and infrastructures in all the parts of the FCT?

Wike did not attend, yet he sent the Minister of state, Mariya Mahmoud, his junior Minister. She was in that meeting. What was the meaning? Why did he send her? If the Minister could not attend, why then should a junior Minister attend. When it is election result counting, Abuja becomes a state with the Minister as the Governor, but thereafter the Minister is no longer recognized as a Governor.

Never mind the APC people and their chronically blind supporters. Ask if Wike had not been attending the council of states meeting and they will deny it. They know absolutely nothing about it.

Very wrong information. Which road was washed away? That fellow who posted that video sent false narratives. He must be one of those opposed to the governor and a spoiler. The video posted did not show any destroyed road, but a flooded road. At this period, Anambra and Delta states are heavily exposed to flooding, largely because of the rivers. Go and look at that same road today after that flooding and you will find it intact.

Flooding is a worldwide problem. It is nature and there’s not much that can be done about it, otherwise developed countries would not be facing it by now.

That road was well built and no deception about it. All roads constructed by Soludo’s administration are solidly made and easily verifiable.

Even that video shows us the drainages. They were overwhelmed by the heavy rains and floods that followed. When it floods, cars and houses are affected. That fellow should be told to stop embarrassing himself with his video.

Then, the race began in earnest for three years now, reaching a frenzy with the works of the two PDP committees on zoning. The first was the Gov Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi committee on the zoning of the PDP party offices. The Ugwuanyi committee quickly told the world the committee’s assignment did not cover zoning the office of the president. Though this was true, the question is: why didn’t the Ugwuanyi committee zone the PDP chairmanship to the North without aligning it to the divide that would produce the PDP presidential flag-bearer? The second committee headed by Gov Samuel Ortom of Benue state was specifically on the zoning of the presidential ticket and, with the votes of the representatives of all the 17 Southern states without any exception, the Committee unanimously recommended throwing open the PDP presidential ticket, which the PDP NEC simply upheld.

One thing irrefutably stands out – Wike shot himself in the leg. Here was a man who had an overarching influence on both committees but could not insist that the ticket be zoned South. Many had wondered why? The reason is also relatively in plain sight: the Southeast factor. As the clamour for zoning of the presidential ticket of the PDP to South reached its crescendo, many had pointed out the fact that though the PDP Constitution had prescribed zoning of the office of the president to be between North and South since the South-west and South-south had taken their turns in producing the president and the vice in this current dispensation in the persons of Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan, zoning this time around, should not just be to the South but the Southeast.

Atiku Abubakar went a step further by offering to step down from the race if it would be agreed that the touted zoning to the South would mean micro-zoning to the Southeast. Wike and the rest could not take the Atiku challenge maybe because Atiku would likely back Peter Obi, who was his vice-presidential running mate in 2019 and an ally. The prospects of Peter Obi picking the ticket if PDP zoned South was so real compelling Wike to go for an open contest, believing he could pick it up ahead of Atiku, Tambuwal and Bala Mohammed, given his large war chest.
