Slytiger:What if your landlord sells the house to you? Or have you not heard how people went from house ownership to tenancy? The new owner becomes the landlord and the owner of the grass and flower! |
Carazon:Lagos with the oga as leader has not successfully sorted out electricity after uncountable years as the federal and commercial capital. Johannesburg that is the mate of Lagos is far ahead. Why not remove that log in your own eyes first. |
Nigerians used to queue for hours to purchase petrol at petrol stations. Now Nigerians form long queues to purchase cooking gas at the gas stations. Very soon Nigerians may be queuing up to purchase charcoal and firewood. Even the good old kerosene is hardly available anymore. |
He looks more like his grandfather Fela, than his father Femi. Fantastic. |
beerfraud:Wetin una people dey use una own intelligence do? Abi na only motor park intelligence una get? |
beerfraud:They are the same people trusted by foreign countries and nationals to trade with. You have no choice. Those from your own end are known to be lazy and live dependent lives. Mostly they depend on the accused for their living. Let me give you examples of what those you accuse do to help you and the entire country: They sell the phones you use. They sell the TVs you watch. Without them, you would not have heard this news in the first place. They sell all the equipments in your house, including the building materials. You sell your lands to them and turn around to rent apartments from them. They are you landlords in your communities. They sell your cooking utensils. The drugs that sustain you are sold by them. Now my dear friend on Nairaland, how can you not sit back and watch. They say “if you cannot beat them, join them”! |
Lifestone:That does not make sense bro. They call is emotion. But I call it immaturity. He needs to study Lionel Messi, Ronaldo and Bukayo Saka. They are more gifted, more skilled, receive better pay, play for better clubs, calm, composed and matured. |
Righteousness2:Parties agreed. Next parties will come together to sign ceasefire agreement. Next will be implementation of ceasefire terms. But first Israel should have stopped bombing on the instruction of President Donald Trump. So we can safely say that as of today, no gunshots, etc, in Gaza. All should happen in a matter of days. |
We4all:How did you come to the conclusion of selfishness. You took sides with the wife, without hearing the man’s side? |
Toyota Corolla. That’s probably there source of income, as the man may be an UBER driver. If he keeps the key and his wife drives it to destruction, where will they feed from? Her mates wey dey take transport carry children go school no be human being sef? |
mariovito:Yes it is so. When they started growing, security agencies were docile. They treated them with kid gloves. Some security agents probably accepted bribes and looked the other way. Society leaders seeing opportunities to make money illegally supported them. When it blew out of hand, it became the duty of soldiers and other members of the armed forces. The issue of far bigger than what the police, including the mobile can handle. Because they allowed the evil people to grow and get more sophisticated arms that the security agencies, hid in forests that are difficult to access, the airforce needed to mobilize to flush them out. Remember “a stitch in time saves nine”, as they say. It was not done. Now it is beyond the control of all security agencies. |
Why that ahh, ahh, ahh, ahh like that everywhere, everytime sef. So no be only area boys dey shout like that sef. Dem take ahhh, ahhh, ahhh do some people? |
ddippset:They ended up stressing themselves and the rest of the nation. Dangote did not move an inch, I think. Dangote was requested to absorb the sacked staff into any of his companies. One wonders why they were not requested to resume in the refinery. PENGASSAN must as a matter of urgency desist from all acts of sabotage against Dangote. |
Oakenshield:Yes, if he chooses to hire and fire, that’s his business. If anyone feels that his employments terms are not acceptable, then such person can jolly well try other places. It’s a privately owned organization and the union leaders do not have the right to shove whatever their jargons down the throat of the organization. The union leaders can go and set up their own refineries and decide what should happen there. I wonder how some of you with little or no experience, justify or rationalize such rascality. That’s the refinery that serves the entire nation. PENGASSAN comprises of various groups who oppose the refinery and are direct competitors. They use PENGASSAN as their cover and they are largely importers, proven to want to shut down the refinery and continue their very unfair practices. In the end, they were forced to swallow the hard and bitter pill. They bowed their faces in shame and even still found face to threaten with a renewal of their strike. In just one day, the cost of gas shot up. They forgot that they are Nigerians and their families would require public transport and gas for food. It is truly embarrassing. |
owobokiri:Liverpool dropped a little. They were not at the top of their game and Gala played better. Osimhen could have added at least one more goal with the opportunities that he had. The pressures of performance on footballers is massive. They need more time to rest, either at the end of the season, or in-between. Too many cups to fight for. |
owobokiri:Attackers win the games, but defenders win the trophies. Liverpool is more solid that Galatasaray. Exhaustion is telling on Liverpool. They got away with Arsenal. If that game is repeated today, Arsenal will tear them to pieces. However, expect Liverpool to sweep Galatasaray away when the meet again. |
You will know how far when you get to Liverpool. I am certain that Gala will be completely blown away at the Merseyside. |
slivertongue:If that monopolist did not build a refinery, you will be on daily queues, injuring yourself and others to purchase petrol at prices dictated to you by the unions and government. You all should learn to see the truth and embrace it. Do not allow your oppressors, in this case the unions, to keep oppressing you. |
Now the young lady has been getting the attention that she has been craving for. Traffic to her social media pages. Some money loading for her! |
Chiemeriee:HRH Eze Emma Onyia is the Okakwu and not Akakwu. Please correct that OP. Ogbaru is entirely LP, but I still continue to see Moughalu as an APC man in LP garment for the moment. One continues to wonder why Uga - Idemmili - Odekpe - Atani - Akili to Osommala road is such a disgrace. I have hoped that with what Governor Soludo is doing in Anambra south, he can find a way with the FG to fix that length of road. That’s an oil rich local government and a complete agrarian area. Yams produced there are part of what is termed “Onitsha yam”. Government should please have mercy on the people and fix the road. Obodoukwu, afia Idemmili, Iyiowa are desperate in need of complete rehabilitation please. |
Christ4ever:Agreed with you and Ali Ndume. |
madridguy:Such are comments of those with no knowledge. No be only kangaroo peace plan, na antelope peace plan. |
Righteousness2:Did you not read the below in your summarization? 19. While Gaza re-development advances and when the PA reform program is faithfully carried out, the conditions may finally be in place for a credible pathway to Palestinian self-determination and statehood, which we recognize as the aspiration of the Palestinian people. 20. The United States will establish a dialogue between Israel and the Palestinians to agree on a political horizon for peaceful and prosperous co-existence. How did you come to your conclusion with your number 7? Please read with understanding and cut off the bias. |
Hopefully Hamas agrees to the peace plan and let Palestinians have their peace. With the UN forcing Iran’s hand with threats of further sanctions, it is hoped that Iran will not make the wrong move of opting out of the NPT and just concentrate or think about fixing the ailing economy. In just a matter of days, Iranians are groaning under increasing costs of basic needs. For example, a kilo of beef goes for $10. If Ayatollah chooses to go the hard way instead of following the voice of reasoning, then the citizens should rise up at last against the regime. Only yesterday, the Houthis defiantly fired a ballistic missile at Tel Aviv. Hopefully peace with Gaza will not afford the Israelis the opportunity to face the Houthis more squarely. Two days ago, Hezbollah announced that they had re-armed. While the Lebanese government is seeking to end the crisis and get Hezbollah to disarm, the leaders are talking about re-arming and facing the Israelis again. Hopefully Hezbollah will not make a wrong move that may put Lebanon at risk again. Netanyahu did well to apologize to the Qataris. Hopefully compensation would be paid to those affected by the strike. It is sincerely hoped that Hamas will throw pride away and take this opportunity. Even though the loss on the Palestinian side is not quantifiable, especially in terms of human lives, Hamas must fully surrender and drop all arms for that land to be rebuilt. Gaza is a beautiful area and if well financed, can become one of the most beautiful areas on earth some day. After this, won’t it be appropriate for Mr. Putin to put an end to his arrogance against Ukraine? We must all say thanks to President Donald Trump for his efforts in respect of Gaza, Ukraine and the rest of the world. |
manuelkel:Bros abeg where are you from? Travel first reach Oluku junction and claim right there. All those who received slaps first before forcefully taking their phones never knew their rights? In the face of “I go shoot you”, in the middle of nowhere, which right do you want to claim? No let me laugh abeg. |
Educationalserv:Very terrible. |
Go to Ojuelegba. They seat inside danfo buses. Go to Oluku junction, Benin. Enter Benin city itself. Go to Asaba, Delta state, between FMC and Inter BUA. Go to Lekki - Ajah. These mentioned areas, no peace of mind with police officers. They do not even want to care if you are a youth or elderly. They forcefully remove your phone to search and beat you in addition to extorting you of huge sums of money. Those police personnel never comply. |
And after serving eight years as governor, he will return to the Senate to spend the rest of his political life. It is so sad that citizens do not have the ability to hold leaders accountable in our country, otherwise certain persons should not be in position of power. For us, leaders can loot and whatever pittances that they give us on election day including their Tshirts, we can accept with pride. We never bother after that to ask what happened to roads, electricity, healthcare, education, etc. All we do after election is to wail and wail and wail. |
Feelsgood:Only lazy and broke youths talk this way. That’s how some of you doubted Dangote until production started. You are in Akwa Ibom, yet you are not updated. I have to make the wahala of researching for you. I previously mentioned the location, crept that you want me to give you transport fare. Now doubting Thomas, I have to provide you with pictures. No wake up. Go through BUA information daily and find out. Maybe you think Rabiu is one of those who would make false claims about his organization. No be only pictures wey I go give you, I go even give you photographer and camera join. https://energyinafrica.com/news/our-refinery-not-yet-at-90-completion-bua-group-refutes-claim/ https://www.vanguardngr.com/2025/01/we-havent-reached-90-completion-bua-refinery/#google_vignette |

Let wait for Israel to strike somewhere again.
