Agboriotejoye:You rightly corrected that Mr. Zebrudaya, because he’s the only one who says it that way. “I will handle you to police”! |
Very old parish. A very powerful parish in those days and made many powerful members of the church today. It used to be located in the then Roxy cinema, if I am not mistaken. Fellowshipping there was very sweet, very nice and beautiful. It used to be an air conditioned auditorium. I had my first close view of Pastor Adeboye when he visited the parish that year in 2001. It used to have powerful men from politics and the military as members. Thank God that they have grown far bigger. They are truly more than a family. A truly favored parish. |
Krismas:Sorry bro. You not only are narrow minded, but you are deeply uninformed and unknowledgeable in the areas that you have pointed to. “America has invaded more than 52 countries since ww2…”. Clearly you do not know what you are talking about. Can you list the countries? Can you list the reasons for invasion of your imaginary 52 countries? Certainly no. Your initial response was simply arrogant, cheeky and rude. This one continued. If you are not informed and you need to discuss with me, be civil and cut off the arrogance. I know far more than you, as the areas discussed in history, international politics and power, are my areas. |
Which constituents? The APC sponsored constituents in her Senatorial zone, or the real ones who filled the front and outside her home, as we saw, happily welcoming her. If any violence erupts, hold the fake, money induced constituents and their leaders responsible. Ododo and Bello are from and reside in Kogi state. When Bello was declared wanted by EFCC, he was kept in government house, as we read in the newspapers. Natasha is from Kogi and resides there. Aside from going to Abuja to represent her people, where do they expect her to go? And by the way, does she not have the right to report back to the sane people that she represents? They suspended her in the senate and expect her to relocate to the moon. If violence erupts, the Yaya Bello and Ododo must be held responsible. Yaya Bello showed an example of what he’s capable of against her. We are all witnesses of how Bello sent caterpillars to cut off the roads leading to her area before the last elections, preventing electoral materials from reaching her voters. Thank God she overcame him. |
They know her. They know that they cannot stop her from arriving her home. They only make her more popular among her people. By the way, where are the so called “constituents”. The crowd inside and outside her home tells us who the true constituents are. What we know is that Yaya Bello is setting himself up for 2027 against Senator Natasha. Unless APC finds another way, they cannot remove this determined young woman from the Senate. |
Ghostagain:Thank you sir. It is safe to say that you know absolutely nothing at all about international politics, nations, history and power. It is also safe to say that you know nothing about peaceful living and how decent societies should function. |
SoftSport:So where do her expect her to go? She was suspended for six months in the Senate. Does she no longer have the right to go to her home in Kogi state? Do you expect her to reside in the forest like herdsmen? Her legislative aides cannot be paid. She will not receive salaries for six months. How do you expect her to pay her bills in her Abuja official residence while she serves the irresponsible suspension? You people should stop this blind followership of APC. See the truth, speak the truth always the way it is. They know her. They know that she cannot be stopped. Why publicize it by themselves? Why not let her go to her house in peace. They only fear her popularity and the fact that Akpabio and the fake recall people, make her more popular everyday. |
Krismas:Narrow mindedness is to compare a decent democratic country like America, where freedom of speech is allowed and people live decently, to a nation like Iran, where women are muzzled, the citizens are beheaded in the name of religion, feeedon of speech is not accepted and the leaders forcing war and destruction on neighbors, while protecting their’s. When the people are tired with their leaders, the Americans show their disdain with their ballot papers at the next elections, voting out the unwanted leaders. Foolishness and cowardice makes you, in Iran, accept evil leaders like the Ayatollahs, watch them rule over you, while you cry and stay helpless in your home. |
Reverseng:But you are the devil. You just wrote meaninglessly. You left the substance and chased the shadow. |
Nonybb:The present religious intolerance against women in one of the paths. I think there will be a sponsorship to provoke the people against the Ayatollah, thereby causing riots and a coup in the country. The citizens are getting tired of their rule and the day May come soon. Just as they ended the Shah dynasty, I expect them to be removed and have a pro west government in place. |
gidgiddy:What holds the north and south together is the oil and gas that is controlled by the northerners here. Again, when they talk about their north, they tend to forcefully, as I call it, include those of the middle belt, who on a lot of occasions do not want to be associated with them. There has been no peace, no joy and rest of mine, since Buhari’s wicked government allowed herdsmen to arrive into the forests in the entire south. In the same Uromi, women became scared of going to their farms on their own. Herdsmen rape and kill them instantly in their farms. Nothing has come out of it, after several years of crying and complaining. The so called northerners did nothing. Ahmed Musa shut his mouth to all the evil committed by his fellow northerners. Ahmed Musa says it’s not about religion. What happened in the case of Deborah and other Christians killed for nothing in the north? Has anyone killed any Muslim in the South for abusing the Christian faith? The South is very tolerant and at peace. The North is full of trouble please. Is it not time for the north to go its own way, seeing such deep divide in the country? If we were one country, why would northern leaders rub in it our faces that the north was attacked, rather than say fellow Nigerians were attacked, as it should be. It is so sad that such loss took place. It is disgusting that the people were brutally murdered, even if they were carrying machetes. The killing is as absolutely unnecessary and evil. However, it was the reaction of many years of wickedness from herdsmen in that area. Like I said a couple of days ago, it is quite dangerous travelling on the stretch of road between Onicha Ugbo/Isele Uku/Onicha Olona axis to Uromi/Ewohinmi in Edo state. It always appears deserted and fearful. Herdsmen control that road and even with vigilantes there, they still trouble travelers. Uromi has been made dangerous in the day and night by herdsmen. Government must wake up to its responsibility. The farms in the north must be made safe again. That way northern farmers won’t leave in droves to go to areas where there’s peace. Also the forests and highways nationwide must be made safe again. State police must be encouraged. Allowing citizens to bear fire arms must be encouraged. |
Nonybb:Very painful indeed. Hamas rule was marked with extremism and intolerance. While they pretended to rule with kindness, they actually were very intolerant and absolutely brutal. They were so foolish, not seeing that the Iranians were using their land as a defence and battle field. The same to Hezbollah and potentially Houthis. Nothing has happened to the land and people of Iran. Hamas has brought the worst case scenario upon itself and its people. They are a clear case of the saying “never start a war that you cannot finish”. There was absolutely no need for that attack on the Israelis on the 7th of October. It was needless and meaningless. It was celebrated around certain parts of the Arab world as victory. The cowards turned their people into human shields, while pretending to fight the Israelis. Their irresponsible action cost that needless loss of human lives. When the ceasefire came into action, the cowards quickly took off their mufti and wore their military uniforms to celebrate what they perceived as victory, on the streets. Why did they take off their uniforms when confronted by Israeli military? Cowardice it is called. When they were releasing the Israeli hostages, they taunted the Israelis. They never reckoned that a brutal leader like Trump was coming. Today, the story in the entire Middle East has changed. Even Putin has changed his story. Hamas is in shambles, just like Hezbollah. Now they beg for peace. Now they are willing to relinquish the administration. Their fire arms are not under their control, so it is the story for the gods, as they say. Now it is a very easy possibility to get the entire Palestinians away from their own lands. The lands that they have fought so many losing battles for over 75 years and lost. They now beg to stay there. Now they will live in their own lands with appeal to the Israelis. If the Israelis even annex further lands, nothing anymore can go wrong. It is so sad to see such things happening. We must feel for the innocent Palestinians who over the years have lost their lives due to this endless hatred. It does not have to do with religion. It has to do with the hearts and minds of the leaders of the people of Palestinian. They hide under the cloak of religion to perpetrate their evil and stupidity. Who claims victory now? Even Hezbollah can no longer attack. They can only bark. A single wrong move and Lebanon will be in complete ruins. Next is Yemen. With the Americans positioning B2 bombers and warships close to them and Iran, their own days of evil are numbered. If they damage a single American warship, then just like Trump promised, all hell will be let loose on them. Lastly, this axis of resistance must be put to an end. Iran must be the next target. I strongly believe and hold it that if Iran is attacked, the Russians and North Koreans will stand back and watch. Trump is projecting American power and the warring Middle East must nations must tread with caution. |
papyjaypaul:One may wonder how a child of three to four years old became transphobic. One may also wonder how the teacher found out that the child was transphobic. If we go by the definition of transphobia, our answer becomes very easy and clear to all. How can you have two females as parents, one going as the dad and the other identifying as the mom? When the child goes around playing with his friends, he sees a man as the dad of his friend and a woman as the mom. Will that child not get confused, when his/her own parents are both females? We should expect reactions when they get to their schools. So for those who have two female parents, they can easily get abused. It is so sad that humanity degenerated to this point, where homosexuality is allowed to thrive and many societies accept it as the standard. It is horrifying that it has come to stay in European nations with females marrying females and males doing the same. Donald Trump did the right thing for the sake of humanity. With science going so deep with its idea of procreation, we need strong leaderships to counter certain scientific abuses. Women now believe that they do not need men to sleep with them to have children. What about the men? What happens when men only sleep with their fellow men. There certainly is a serious tinkering of the human race by science. If men cannot get down in beds with women for the sake of procreation, then the human race is in deep trouble. So for me, suspending or expelling that child is an extreme and unnecessary action. The confusion of the child could have been corrected by the same teachers, who in the first place always tell the children in school that they are trapped in the wrong body. The school should be sued by the parents, whether they are transgender or straight and let’s see how the court ruling plays out. |

ceejay80s:You did not understand what he meant. He did not mean beauty in the sense that you assumed. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, as they say. The man chose the lady on the basis of what he saw, but he failed to note the character flaws. That’s what he meant. |
Who has been more tolerant between the north and the south? Abeg make we hear something. Sometime ago, a woman got beaten up by northern okada riders in Festac. The woman was reversing her car and one wicked northern okada rider brushed the car. The woman came out of the car to check what happened. Suddenly these abokis stopped their bikes, descended on the poor lady and beat her up mercilessly. Herdsmen have been all over the south, raping, killing, maiming and destroying for years now and getting away with their crimes. They even appear to have protection because they appear to quickly get released after arrests. We have not seen the action of NEF. Everyday we see herdsmen arriving in various areas of the south on the backs of trailers with bikes, cows, goats, guns and other forms of weapons. They have taken over large swaths of forests and made them their kidnapping areas. Can anyone from the south dare such in the northern areas and get away? How these NEF people find the mouths to say such is horrifying. No one supports such horrendous acts, as perpetrated in Utomi a few days ago. It must be condemned absolutely. It must not be tolerated. However these northern elders should understand that it is a reaction from the people for the endless killings that have been going on in Uromi itself by herdsmen. Women find it hard to go to their farms in Uromi for fear of getting raped. Infact the road between Onicha Ugbo and Uromi/Ewohinmi, etc, is mostly deserted for fear of attacks by these herdsmen. NEF must be honest with themselves and face the truth and reality of the evil carried out daily by herdsmen. What we need is lasting solution to the insecurity in the north that daily chase them away from their farms and communities, forcing them to the south. |
But we all know that the so called alliance with Magnus Abe is to serve Abe’s ambition of becoming the governor, which he’s been aiming for years. How far can they go, knowing that the last elections in Rivers state saw many of the political strongmen working against candidates of their own parties. Will Wike ever support Abe’s ambition? |
Vickym1:Presidential election results: APC. 90,902 PDP. 74,194 LP. 281,717 They know that Abuja was for PDP until the coming of LP/Obi. BAT acknowledges that even the state house was PDP territory until LP came with Obi. Now Abuja has become Labour Party territory. Now we see that all the abracadabra projects of Wike are for the selfish purpose of BAT to win Abuja for APC. Rather than talk about how to make the nation better for all, irrespective of party affiliations, the man is thinking of how to capture Abuja for his party. |
Maxymilliano:He appears to have advanced cataract in his eyes. |
“What money cannot do, more money can do it”. One of our famous politicians made this statement. The man simply decamped from Fubara’s party to Wike’s party. He probably also got an irresistible offer. His wife’s comment told us all that we needed know about the man. |
ddippset:Even now in Rivers, his boy has exposed him completely and reduced his influence drastically. Rivers state consistently used to deliver over one million votes during Presidential elections. You can check that since 1999. With all his boasting, 200,000 SAs and hijacking, he could not deliver 300,000 votes in Rivers state to Tinubu. Wike will continue to feel and live in the pain of his loss to Atiku. Wike orchestrated the decamp of Obi from PDP. His greed and betrayals are second to none. Even Magnus Abe reminded him openly of his anti party activities during the last elections. Dino Melaye reminded him of how he has been sponsoring opposition candidates for a very long time against his own party. That 2023 election was lost because the greed of Wike and nothing else. The millions of votes to Obi would have added up to give PDP victory. Wike should bow his face in shame. To those who support Wike and his irresponsible ways, shame on you. Nigeria is at the level where people no longer care about corruption. Just get there, bring the money and that’s all. If that’s not the case, how have Nigerians not bothered to ask about the source of Wike’s humongous wealth? |
chidiokay:“..,weytin concern people with what happen in new york 10yrs ago…”. So if a man stole in New York 10 years ago, travels to another country to continue stealing, the authorities and people should give him the golden handshake and an award? I thought that I had heard the worst from certain citizens, until I heard those words from you! When you used the word dumb, did you forget to read your comment and juxtapose it with the issues at stake? What is worse between choosing to be a Yes man to thieving leaders, and decent leaders who are accountable and outspoken when crooked leaders overstep their bounds? I wonder how you have not thought as of now that Senator Natasha’s constituents are made up of citizens of various parties. Is it not dumb to think that it is the opposition APC that orchestrated such a move, to enable them have their party member take over the seat? So to you, Senator Natasha does not have her own supporters in her Senatorial zone, or even her own supporters want her recalled? Which of the bridges did she burn her please? The Lokoja - Abuja bridge, the old Carter bridge in Lagos, or the bridge in front of your school? The lady had her seat changed and objected that she was not informed prior to that. Do you think that they were talking about classroom seats? Her altercation with the Senate President did not go well and she was suspended. Is it not dumb to think that her constituents would be deprived of representation for six months? You expect her to keep quiet when everyone knows that the maximum duration should be fourteen days? The next, your APC members in her state and constituency claim to be the “constituents” and orchestrate a recall. Imasuen who took on her personally should not expect a response from her? Cowards die many times before their death, remember? If Senator Natasha did not build relationships across her state and particularly her Senatorial zone, you think that she would have walked up to the National Assembly and ask them to open the gates to allow her enter? You are a test case in blind followership. |
It is indeed very painful seeing citizens pass through these painful situations. It is true that elections have consequences, whether positive or negative. Irrespective of that however, we must not overlook the need for help. The reality is that APC supporters seem to choose the path of misery and hardship, but their choices make life hard for everyone. We must pray that they wake up from their bewitchment and make the right choices next time. Thank you to everyone that can help others, irrespective of tribe, religion or political affiliation. |
chidiokay:So you understand that what goes around, comes around? How did Senator Natasha’s constituents “adjudicate” that she was undeserving to serve them? Can you ask for a comparison between the two Senators, when you look at their impacts among their people, or contributions in the Senate chamber? Senator Natasha is way ahead of Imasuen, bro. Edo people already are complaining that he is worst performing Senator. Who says that the case in America is not valid? Assuming, but not conceding that it is not valid, do not forget that there is a word called morality. Senator Natasha’s submission against him was simple and straight forward. As a member of the ethics committee, he must be of high integrity. Those who come to equity must have clean hands. Are his own hands clean? He cannot be standing in judgement in a morality matter, when he knows that he is lacking in that area. Now it has gone public. What his constituents never knew about him, now they know, along with other citizens of the country. Did you notice that he suddenly shut his mouth, after Senator Natasha made her case against him? We know that there are paths to recall a legislator. If the conditions are met, the said legislator finds himself/herself back home. However we must always expect the highest standards in all ramifications from them all. |
Wike promised to cause trouble in states where the Governors are against him. One of such states is Bayelsa. The other is Bauchi. One day, very soon, he will be out of power like many others before him. |
He who brings home ant infested words, should e over lizards to pay him visits. Imasuen in fighting Natasha, forgot that his reputation could not be hidden for long. Now we all know that he was sacked in America because of fraud. Labour Party does not want people like him. I see the desire of APC Edo state to take over that Senatorial zone, just like it is happening in Kogi Central. |
BlueStripper:Before making such ignorant and arrogant comment as this, please read about it all. Ask questions and get better understanding. Your comment, just like others before and after yours are completely way off mark. |
BondRiv:The Nigerian Constitution: Chapter 8 FCT, & Gen. Provisions Part 1 Federal Capital Territory, Abuja Chapter 8. Part 1. Section 302. Minister of Federal Capital territory, Abuja. “The President may, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 147 of this Constitution, appoint for the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja a Minister who shall exercise such powers and perform such functions as may be delegated to him by the President, from time to time”. I needed to copy and paste that section here for you to not only see, but to read. I strongly believe that you cannot understand the wordings and will never, as you are just like blind Texan salamanders and earless seals. From the above, it should be very simple for a complete olodo like you to understand that Wike acts within the authority granted to him, as the minister. Other ministers also act within the powers granted to them. It is clear that you lack understanding, withof your biased position regarding Fubara. Because you jumped into the matter at the point where the issue had exploded, I do not blame you for your warped thinking. You do not understand the word “despot”, except that you read it in public spaces, from the Supreme Court. By the way, you must be a very inexperienced young school leaver and a complete mumu. You gave a long way to go, learning. Coconut heads are better than you, whose head resembles that of chimpanzees. Get away from here! |
BondRiv:Unfortunately you do not seem to know that the Minister is only in his role as a minister, or an administrative head. The FCT is not like the states of Nigeria, which are headed by elected Governors. It is administered by the Federal Capital Territory Administration, headed by the minister, in this case Wike, who is appointed by the President. It has only one elected Senator, in the name of Mrs. Ireti Kingibe of the Labour Party. If you do not know this very basic, I do not know how to help. There is a difference between an appointees and an elected person. Tinubu can choose to fire Wike any moment, but he cannot firmer Ireti Kingibe, neither can he fire Diri. I do not understand how Fubara became a despot. Where you not in this country before and after his election as the Governor? Or are you simply following the crowd, not taking your time to understand deeply what the matter is. If you call Fubara a dexpor, what do you want to term Wike? A lamb? |
kettykin:Unfortunately Wike cannot do that. Wike served as the representative of the President, in his capacity as the minister. The President is the Governor of the FCT. Again, the FCT is the administrative capital of the FG. The seat of power and the official residential area of the President. Can Wike stop Diri from visiting the President? |
Always very happy and staying positive. |
24errand:Close that your nonsense mouth. Peter Obi is from Anambra state. He is a politician, an ex governor and President in waiting. Mrs. Remi Tinubu is from Delta state, a politician, ex Senator and the current First Lady. Who should be more popular between them in Dta state? If Obi floored the First Lady in her state, I’d that not a sign that there is no connection between her and her people? Think before talking, una go say no. |

Exactly what I was talking about narrow mindedness!
