Lifestone:That’s what the state of emergency is expected to achieve. If within six months, all parties still are disagreeing, then a further six months can be declared. The President does not have the constitutional power to remove the state governor. So for the fellow up there who addressed Fubara as “ex”, he needs to learn. Fubara is not an ex governor. I think the losers here are Wike’s boys. Do not forget that they started the impeachment move against Fubara, within three months of their resumption as legislators. When the battle started, Fubara stopped all their payments. In all, they have not sat for more than six months, if we do the counting. They lost time, they lost resources and now they will lose more time and resources, as their suspension will last until September or so. Wike equally has lost. He’s idea of impeaching Fubara has been dealt a blow by Tinubu. Fubara will return in six months to continue as the governor. Wike’s plan failed. He will have to wait until 2027 to change Fubara. I do not think that it will work for him anymore, as other political gladiators will step in to show their interests. I also do not expect PDP to sit on the fence over this. The biggest losers until today have been the citizens. Voting for the wrong leaders has its consequences. |
Maxymilliano:That’s the position of the law. It was the same with Joshua Dariye and OBJ declared a state of emergency to settle the issue. Now Fubara, his deputy and the rest can go go rest. The CJ can be replaced along with the commissioners, by the new sole administrator. |
TUANKU:The you equally must be a scoundrel and a complete riff raff. Out of your stupidity, you and your fellow foolish youths failed to understand that I simply looked at all the possibilities and what could have led the children, who are irresponsible as you are, to take such wicked action against their father. |
easzypeaszy:May everyday of your life be miserable. You will not live to have or see children, you wasted don of a vagabond father. |
I believe that he will declare a state of emergency in the state, not exceeding six months, as it happened then when Joshua Dariye was the governor of Plateau state. All legislative assignments to be taken over by the National Assembly. Everyone to rest and if after six months Wike and his bunch of cowards choose to continue their irresponsible act, Tinubu can extend it. |
tollyboy5:Then I am right to say that just like that riff raff, you are equally a scoundrel and a wretch. |
abobote:You confirmed that you are not just a scoundrel, but also a wretch. |
tundegan:Mind your own state. Your own governor made promises. Ask him to account to you all. Your BAT promised that in the first four years, there must be electricity, stable all over the federation. He said that if he failed, he should not be voted to return for his second term. Go and tell him to do the magic that he promised when he was campaigning. |
That’s what it should be. The right step in attracting investors to the state. Gov Otti must be commended. |
123yes:He claimed to have been financing the party when GEJ left. Why did he not pay the bill please, knowing that the party was broke? |
Wike is the biggest mole in the PDP. His agenda as it appears is to remain on the PDP, control the party at the national, s zonal and state level, keep his 27 cowards until the eve of the 2027 election, destroy PDP and finally decamp to APC, with the intention of remaining as a minister beyond 2027. If anything happens and he loses his ministerial seat, he will push his senator away and take over the seat in his senatorial zone. Wike has many battles ahead. He must be reminded of the words: how are the mighty fallen. |
Cowbell521:Says a scoundrel, a gutterspine, a fustilarian and a scut. |
Was that his first, second or third wife? He probably all along was told to checkmate the excesses of his wife and he did not care. The result showed up with the greed and wickedness of the woman and the children. Again, such heartlessness from the children requires a simple paternity check. By the way, who knows if he ever was supporting his children financially. We only saw the wickedness of the children. We did not hear their side of the story. Whatever the story was, having given the greedy woman two shops and 3m, they planned to make the man suffer by taking away all he had. The video is of the sitting room, showed that the man is by no means a poor man. Anyway, that’s a case of attempted murder, grievous bodily harm and kidnapping. The four children, along with their mother and the evil abokis, have many years to serve in jail. When the sons are out of jail, what they have done to their father must happen to them. |
And even if they paid him a visit, is that not their private business? Or is there any rule or law prohibiting them or others from visiting the governor? |
kevwemike:Please if you do not have a copy of the Nigerian constitution (which you should), go and get one and read with clear understanding. You can also read it online if you want and then tell us what it says. |
Ikaeniyan0:Kemi Badenoch, born a Yoruba lady just as you are a Yoruba person, resides permanently in England, married to an English man with children, leads her political party and with the potential of becoming the Prime minister, called an English woman even with her black skin. Why have the English not called her a Yoruba person or denied her that English status? You cannot know the land more than the people themselves. You have not faced your own tribe, yet you want to think that you know Opobo more than the people, while asking others to face their own land. While you can almost kill your self to get an American, Canadian, UK, New Zealand citizenship, you still on the other hand play the tribal card in your own country. Have the Ijaws come out to say that Opobo is not their land? When the same Wike sought an Ijaw man to make his next, did he not tell the whole world that Fubara was an Ijaw man? Why did he suddenly change his stance, if not for the simple purpose of pursuing his own personal agenda? The Ibani language and people that you jumped in to talk about are an Ijaw ethnic group. You find them with other Ijaw speaking people in Opobo and Bonny. Those like Wike who said that Opobo people are not real Ijaw people, simply live in self deceit and delusion. |
Which kind nonsense be that? |
Botragelad:Hamas is simply a big problem to Palestinians. Hezbollah ate the humble pie at the peace agreement and now the Lebanese have found peace. If all the need is to release the remaining 59 hostages, why the delay. The Israelis in turn have released hundreds of detained Palestinians, including terrorists in exchange for peace. Now, with the Islamic holy month going on, Palestinians again begin to experience destruction on another large scale. It is time for citizens to wake up and say enough to this destruction. Added to their problem is the backing of Donald Trump. He threatened them with hell on earth and will carry it out except Hamas changes its ways. Peace is needed in the Middle East. Iran and its axis of evil must put to an end this killing of innocent people on such large scale. |
Maxymilliano:Na waoh. Na locust standing I see so? Bros you for kuku day na na locust beans instead. |
tundegan:Can you show us with evidence, one politician worldwide who is a man of integrity? |
Yellow face, brown hands and legs. Marks of bleaching. Shameless government official, who was patronizing prostitutes and so brazenly spraying them money. Surely he must have been drunk on the day. |
Akpakomiza2:Mr. Akpakomiza, did he get approvals from the courts or not, in the first place? |
heniford2:The SSG absolutely made no error bro. The Governor presented the budget to the then court recognized members of the state assembly. They passed it into law. The allocation to the SSGs office was given for use. How is it his fault please? Amaewhule and his group first requested Fubara to present the list of commissioners, having refused to recognize the existing commissioners. That included the SSG. Fubara did. How have they now turned around to request for an SSG that they claimed was non existent in their foolishness? Unfortunately for the misled cowards, all that Amaewhule did were backed up courts. How have they overlooked that? Greed has completely overtaken Amaewhule. Now he desperately intends to remove the governor deputy, giving himself room to become the temporary governor of the state, spending the same money that he accuses others of embezzling. Breeze go blow and we go see fowl yansh. I foresee the end, very soon, of the desperation of Wike and his spoonfed legislators. |
Shame on Wike/Amaewhule. It was the game plan long ago. Wike once he thought that he lost control of the governor, decided to use Anaewhule to trouble the state. As I always maintained, Amaewhule and his co-travelers are cowards. They definitely and confidently decamped to APC on the instructions of Wike. They quickly and fictitiously returned to PDP seeing that the plan was a wrong move and effectively checkmated by Fubara. PDP itself at the national level treated the matter with kid gloves. A few days ago, one person here argued that the case in the court had died, following the Supreme Court pronouncement. I told him that the case was not dead. The Supreme Court took up the matter, which in the first place was not part of the issue. There we are now with the same Justice Obile, who they claimed to be awaiting the Supreme Court ruling in April. Without doubt, there is a sinister plan to get the governor and his deputy out of the position, effectively positioning Amaewhule, another Ikwerre man, as the governor. With Amaewhule, who is alleged to me related to Wike, it will be east to completely dominate Rivers state and its resources. I strongly believe that the same Amaewhule and his co-travellers will decamp finally to APC on the eve of the 2027 elections, as Wike himself may decide to take the mask off his face by declaring for APC. In all, I do not expect PDP or LP to lose grounds in 2027. Wike has taught people lessons and they will be waiting for him and his loyalists in 2027. |
What a very big shame. A very big rascal who has a child and taught her child rascality and irresponsible living. She taught the child practical lessons on stealing and went physically to steal with her. Shameless people. |
Una see life? His appearance and dressing portray him as an irresponsible and dirty man. If he has daughters and a wife, I wonder what they will be thinking, seeing their husband and father frolicking and spraying money on women of easy virtue. Just like it has always been said, na women dey always disgrace public officials pass. Those ladies made people see the kind of man that he is. He should without delay be fired. |
zero8zero:When he used the words “dead on arrival”, did you hear that consulted the committee? Did those words not show that he had taken a position on his own, in view of a clear good relationship with the SP? |
Hmm. |
casualobserver:Do not make a mistake. APC is called a bed of strange fellows. To remove GEJ from power, supporters and opposition fused together. The same El Rufai left PDP to join CPC and agreed with APC. Just as he did before 2015, now he needs supporters and opposition to achieve his goal. Will history repeat itself? |
100% Kperoogi forgot to include El Rufai days as the FCT minister. He was very ruthless and completely intolerant of the same downtrodden that he suddenly identifies with. |
Straight to the point. Very well captured. Very descriptive of Wike. |
