Always very happy and staying positive. |
24errand:Close that your nonsense mouth. Peter Obi is from Anambra state. He is a politician, an ex governor and President in waiting. Mrs. Remi Tinubu is from Delta state, a politician, ex Senator and the current First Lady. Who should be more popular between them in Dta state? If Obi floored the First Lady in her state, I’d that not a sign that there is no connection between her and her people? Think before talking, una go say no. |
End of life’s journey for the boy. By the way, if an apprentice who has not started life yet maintains a girlfriend, is it not sign that he will not make it well in life? Why not focus on his study, become a master, work and then get a lady to live his life with? Now his freedom is gone. The said girl will only be arrested, interrogated and set free if she is not complicit. She will continue her irresponsible life with other men in freedom. Who will make young men find some sense? |
press9jatv:And he earned the name hooligan, which he rightly deserves. |
Xisnin:Please read through completely wit clear understanding and no bias. Wike openly said that he purchased the election forms for all the candidates in Rivers state. Having done that, did you not expect him to get the returns on his investment? Wike stated off as a local government chairman and then rose over the years on that political ladder. Have you ever wondered what would have given him such stupendous wealth? As a lawyer, did you hear that he had a successful law firm? Did you hear that he owned a factory somewhere? If we cannot question leaders who accumulate such wealth out of the blues, then we agree with them to continue impoverishing us. It was stated the amount declared monthly as the state income, which was less than half of the real sum. Fubara was the AG, sought badly for arrest by EFCC and hidden in the government house by the then governor. Why was he hidden there? Do you think that a man like that would not know what was happening with the resources, especially as he did not authorize that removal? If Wike, as he said, fixed all the leaders, do you not expect them to report to him? Did you not read that the refusal of Fubara to permit the stealing of over 16b monthly became the issue? He asked why he should account for what he knew nothing about. Did you not read that? Was it disputed by Wike and his group? Lastly, your response was contradictory please. It showed partly that you agreed with what the OP said. |
Xisnin:So all the ex governors arrested by EFCC for embezzling public funds, where were they getting the monies from? Or you were not aware that Abacha used the then CBN governor to directly receive cash is dollars, pounds and other European currencies from the CBN vault? Is it not the job of the state governor to give the instructions, while the civil servants, in this case the accountant general, etc to perfect the paper work of removing the funds? Please follow what happens a little more. What we all read above is the exact narrative that we have always heard since 2021. |
This is the exact story of the events that we all know. Nothing less, except the horrible actions of Wike. |
papyjaypaul:No. He will never benefit from it for the rest of his life. When he is out of hospital, he will be in court for the offence of murder. That’s a life sentence. A little bit of patience with his far elder brother would have helped. Said mango trees were probably planted by their father. What a shame. |
First his security must be taken off. Next he should no longer be entitled to any security. In the first place the Chinese will not give any Nigerian such security in their country. Next the security who shot the officer must be sacked and jailed. Finally the man must face the crime and jailed. |
FreeStuffsNG:“Pride girth before a fall”. Tell yourself that. If you allow some common sense to work for you, you must first ask yourself how the so called oil has made living better for Nigerians. With the so called little quantity found in the SE, they are able to run their states successfully. Has Lagos become like Johannesburg or Kigali, with all your pride? If you allow some common sense to work for you, you should ask yourself and government that you blindly support what has been happening to the income from resources in the north. Olodo. Why not look at the northerners in the face and call them parasites without fear? Afterall your so called VAT is distributed to Kano, Jigawa, etc and yet beer from your side is destroyed on daily basis? You need more investments in oil and gas in Lagos state, yet you do not know that Imo and Anambra states hold some of the largest gas reserves in the world. It is no longer a secret that gas is the future. If Nigeria holds together as a nation, very soon we will know who is the parasite between you and others. In the meantime, keep feeling the pain of being a tenant in the house of the people that you hate in your own area. While decent Nigerians are forging ahead inspite of the tribal, political and religious differences, people like you keep living on trees like ancient people, using tribalism to trouble the development of the country. |
Ok. |
Dogalmighty17:After knowing that they steal public funds, you fight for them, support them by all means to continue in their positions, for the same paltry packs of food that they give. |
Ok. |
Akpakomiza2:You see yourself? So to you, rigging has human face. So when APC won in Osun state and Buhari used the words “ remote control”, the rigging had human face? No wonder this country is in this pit. Well done . |
Akpakomiza2:Now na APC get power. Like the proverbial monkey that was given water to drink with a cup, who will retrieve the cup? Now they have become not only masters of rigging, but masters of backing corruption. You see life? |
Akpakomiza2:Bros o, leave Delta story. If you want to talk about Delta, please ask questions and you will get the exact answers. And when you need to talk about rigging, first take a close look at APC to understand it. Again do not forget that Buhari once said that APC won Osun state that year by remote control. If the sitting President could say that, why do you a bloody citizen, want to look for what is by your side? |
Counterigbolies:The only mumu here is YOU. Your dirty English gives you away as not only a complete mumu, but a well trained ODE, in all descriptions of it. When you are on social media spaces like this, endeavor to make meaningful contributions only, if you have any and are able to. You do not know what arguments are, but especially in these matters, not to talk of superior arguments. I advise you to face your television and only watch football matches, as befit an unlearned fellow like you. |
Akpakomiza2:Now you are talking. Hold your Edo state. It Asue wins, good luck to him. |
That’s your business oga. Nwebonyi is a disgrace to his party. Without doubt, he showed himself a complete hooligan. How he was able to call Oby Ezekwesili a fool at 70 beats my imagination. By all standards, they are not mates. Except that he is a Senator, how would he ever compare with her. It was a shameful outburst in the name of defending the Senate President. Even with all the call on him to restrain himself, he continued. He even dared to tell her that her likes should not be in the Senate chambers. He made himself the fool. If the SP had managed the event with Natasha maturedly, the Senate as a whole will not be in this mess. Thankfully he found out that the woman is no pushover. |
cathodekazim:That’s politics and politicians. It is the work of her political opponents, who thought that an opportunity had come for them to remove her. The lady has shown resilience. She’s proved to be a fighter and not a coward. Se has guts and personality. She’s fearless and very confident. Natasha is one type of leader that we need. She performs for her people. Even her fellow Senators like Imasuen and Nwebonyi now know better. If you want to take on Natasha, you must have the strength. Imasuen’s credibility now is questioned. Nwebonyi who is an opposition Senator has showed that he is an APC man in the body of Labour Party. He should not be returned in 2027. Labour should not trust that man with the ticket next time. |
casualobserver:Look friend, you did not need this very long analysis and English, if only you looked without bias at the constitutional provisions. The question remains if the conditions for a declaration of a state of emergency were existing. Aside from the political disagreements between the contending powers, what were the existing conditions (if any), genuinely leading to the state of emergency. Long submissions and interpretations are not needed if we understand clearly the constitution as quoted by you. |
Akpakomiza2:Oga, tell us only about Edo state. You do not know much about other states. Show us the areas in Edo state where APC won elections without rigging. What are the factors that determine failure that you cannot find in the entire leadership in your Edo state? Give us concrete evidence to back up your claim that Okowa failed in Delta state as the Governor. Where was and is the hope for APC to defeat PDP in Delta politics? Go and read the election results from 2015, when APC started to field candidates in Delta state and tell us where the hope for APC was. Inspite of Ibori and his combination of APC political leaders in Delta Central, Okowa defeated them all. That APC got two seats, was by the name of the candidates and not the party. Even APC supporters were openly saying that they did not stand a chance. Of all the Senatorial zones, how did you expect Omo Agege to defeat PDP in Delta north, which was, is and will continue to be PDP’s home? By the way, Peter Nwaoboshi, who contested on the platform of APC was roundly defeated by Ned, not because Ned was popular, but because, just like Delta central is Omo Agege/Ibori’s stronghold, Delta north is Okowa’s stronghold. Omo Agege himself scored 240k votes because of the anti party activities of Ibori against his own PDP in Delta central. Your Omo Agege was lucky that Ibori was angry at Okowa for not accepting his own governorship candidate. Yet they were roundly defeated by Okowa. What’s making Sheriff useless? Show us proof that he is useless. You go just siddon for Ramat park dey drink alumo come dey tell us of Sheriff. |
PresidObi:Where did Obi win everywhere in Delta state that he did not repeat in Rivers state? In other presidential elections before Wike, PDP scored over one million votes. Even with his last minute so called 200k special assistants, he delivered less than 300k votes to APC, according to what was claimed. Was that progressive or retrogressive? To you, who was a paperweight between Wike and Okowa, who delivered the Presidential election victory to his party in Delta state? Why was Wike not able to muster over one million votes, or even close to it, as was always the custom. We all have always expected heavy votes from Kano and Rivers. NNNP scored close to one million votes, yet your Wike could not match words with action in Rivers state. Labour Party defeated APC in Lagos state, but can you call Shettima a paper weight politician? Or you do not understand what the word paperweight means? A decent politician with integrity with not sell his party and people for selfish interests. Okowa does not and will never do that. Your Wike has been accused severally, and even openly by Magnus Abe of anti party activities. With such greedy people as Wike, how can political parties progress? Oya, answer. |
casualobserver:And have you taken your time to look at the constitution, to familiarize yourself with it and ask if the so called state of emergency was in accordance with its stipulations? I suggest that you take your time to look through, vis - a - vis the actions to taken, to make a proper assessment and draw a proper conclusion on it. |
Now they people are waking up. Never start a fight that you cannot have victory. Never bite more than you can chew. Hopefully the citizens can spread it like wildfire and Hamas rule can end. Hopefully also it spreads like wildfire to Iran, Yemen, to flush out the Ayatollahs,?Houthis and the remaining axis of evil. If Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, UAE, etc can have peace in their nations, why should Iran continue with its greed for power and control over the Middle East. While the irresponsible Hamas, Hezbollah, PL, Houthis and other non state actors bring war and destruction upon their people, Iran must not be allowed to have any peace. |
casualobserver:And does your new sole administrator have an assembly, not to talk of an approval from any assembly? By the way, who’s helping him manage the 400b allocation released to him? |
dam2000:And Ezekwisili simply showed the man the foolishness in him. A supposed distinguished or honorable man who did not know how to choose his words on such occasions, is nothing but a fool. |
helinues: |
SoftSport:So a convicted armed robber in New York who relocates to Nigeria should not be termed so. You need to wait for him to rob you before you can be convinced of who he truly is. I cannot believe what’s happening with the youths of our country. I wonder how you overlook criminals in position of power, especially as their positions favour you or interest you, praising them and believing that they are able to make our societies better. You all should at least have a little bit of shame. |
Asonaijaaso:Sorry bro, you have the wrong calculation. There is only one option, not for Israel, but for the Houthis. With Trump presently in the mix, if they hit the Israeli airport, they will get a response far worse than Gaza. Remember that the Israelis took time to respond to Hezbollah. Their radar is already set in Yemen and their evil and irresponsible Houthi leaders. This will not be the battle against Saudi Arabia. The Israelis fight the scotched earth wars. Watch out, Yemen will bleed badly. They hit an American warship, just like Trump earlier said “all hell will let loose, they will face unimaginable destruction from Trump. |
Nonsense people. No network for about one month. They should be ashamed of themselves. |
commoditiesnig:And Tinubu now will understudy Egypt’s electricity. An idea put forward by Obi, but seriously rejected by suffering members of APC? How do you say about him being a copycat? |
