Sure we know.
But was the state of emergency necessary?
The 27 cowards refused to let Fubara present the budget. They claimed that the state was running without a budget and Fubara was acting illegally. Now the sole administrator has received 400 b allocation that should have been approved by the 27 cowards and implemented by the elected Governor. Who lost? They may not receive their salaries still. Fubara will get back and get all his salaries speedily.
Now which budget will they operate when the state of emergency expires?
See what “agreement is agreement” has led them all to?
Again, it is no longer sure for Wike in 2027 in Rivers state. There are other interested parties who will push him and his 27 out of the way. |

JAMO84: For some Nigeria Christians who like to believe that terrorists are working for Islam. Imagine RCCG members going to surround a living faith congregation on a Sunday while service is holding, killing everyone in the church. Would you consider Rccg as part of your religion again?
Any terrorist who goes about killing people, Muslim or not, we curse them. Allah cursed them. They are not part of us and they will never be.
Alhamdulillah. Thousands of Muslim youths have taken up arms against those miserable terrorists in Borno, Katsina, Zamfara....Muslims in Nigeria don't just condemn terrorists, we fight them with our lives. I understand your line of thinking bro. It is very sad, very unfortunate that some humans are so barbaric. I wonder how some people can be so vile, sadistic and evil. How can one describe it that innocent citizens were praying in the mosque and those whom they believe to share the same faith with and trusted, faced them with guns and forcefully extinguished lives out of them all? With what we see, can we say that it has to do with religion? I think that it must be for economic reasons that these horrible fellows push people away from their communities and hijack the places. Please do not blame those who say that the evil men are Muslims. It’s been a frustrating daily occurrence and you hear those evil people professing their faith, before, in the middle and after their actions. Our prayer is that West African leaders can wake up to their responsibilities, take on these criminals and deal them the fatal and final blow. |

Yahaya Bello stealing the future of Kogi State did not embarrass the state,
Yahaya Bello inviting thugs to Government House Lokoja for electoral violence did not embarrass the state
Yahaya Bello thugs burnt an opposition women leader alive in her house did not embarrass the state,
It is a Senator who is speaking up for her rights that has embarrassed the state.
This country is too full of useless elders.
This one will see you tomorrow and demand respect from you as an elder but imagine the rubbish coming out from his mouth. This is an APC matter. Maybe they want to replace her with Yaya Bello. Who knows? It is sad that our nation gets worse and embarrassed daily in this manner by our politicians. More painful is the supper of the already impoverished citizens, whose rights no longer exist. Maybe, Wike should be blamed too if the national secretariats run out of printing papers or biros. “Mere” 100,000 naira and the party lost the secretariat, which loss was supervised by a national leader of the same party. You called it “mere”, yet Wike did not pay it as the party’s major financier. |

gidgiddy: I can't commend a Governor for violating the constitution he swore to uphold, and only a fool would
The constitution says that you must charge a suspect to court within three days of arrest. Not hold them for weeks with no charge Bros, e be like say Akwa Okuko or Eke hit dey empower you jujuically. Please tell me which section of the constitution Soludo violates. Tell me where and how Soludo detains them. If you cannot commend Soludo about security matters, then know that you have a skeleton in your cupboard. You have been lamenting since that homeland security law was put in place. Abi you dey fear to reach your village? Your hands clean so? Your mind dey pursue you? If you no reach village now, you no go know say that mango tree wey you dey climb before no dey there again. No let person point una compound to you. Anyway, we commend and will keep commending Governor Soludo for his efforts.? |
Politics › Re: Soludo Needs To Stop This Illegal Act Of Detaining People Without Charge by ElevationD: 7:06pm On Mar 22, 2025 |
gidgiddy: I'm not against Governor Soludo fighting criminality in Anambra, but I'm against him detaining people without charge. Ever since Soludo signed the Anambra Homeland Security bill into law in January, Anambrarians have witnessed extra-judicial killings, Illegal arrests and detention by his Security outfit, Agunechemba
High profile traditional native Doctors such as Akwa Okuko, Eke-hit and Mmili Enweilo, have been arrested. Even non traditionalists like Onyeze Jesus.
Arresting these people isn't a the problem, detaining them without charge is. Agunechemba has no business detaining people, they have no powers to charge anyone to court. If Agunechemba arrests a suspect, their duty is to hand the suspect over to the Police, along with any evidence they have, so the Police can do their job.
But a situation where Akwa Okuko, Eke and others can be arrested and detained for weeks by Agunechemba, without any charge, is a violation of their constitutional rights, as well as human rights abuse. Nobody has the right to detain people indefinitely without charge Bro I wonder why this security matter is giving you sleepless nights. For starters, maybe you are not aware that the disruptive Monday sit at home, has become history in Anambra state. Now citizens carry on their businesses daily without disturbance from criminal gangs disguising as Biafra agitators. You must commend Soludo for that singular success. Akwa Okoku, as he labeled himself is not detained “without charge”, so to speak, by Soludo. Homeland security is established and backed by law. He was arrested by homeland security, seen by the Deputy governor, as we all saw and after a while handed over to the police. I think we should commend the Governor for his efforts on security. He met the state in a terrible security situation. He asked citizens to cooperate in flushing out criminals. When criminals persisted, he acted. The rest is what we experience today, with a drastic reduction in crime all over the state. Please get some peace as the Governor makes the state once again the most peaceful state nationwide as it used to be. |

A party that ruled but couldn't pay the ground tax of her national Secretariat for 20 good years. What is the claim of such party to sincere leadership? When the said billions were raised in 2014, Wike was the minister of education. After the 2015 election, PDP as a party went broke. It was openly stated that Wike financed the party solely from that period. One of Wike’s right to his now vexatious PDP presidential ticket, was his sponsorship of the party. The question to Wike should be why he failed to pay the ground rent of 28.5 on behalf of his then beloved party?
If Wike did not have the plans to destroy PDP from within, why did he not pay the bill and get the party to refund him. His position as the minister put him in advantage to push his so called beloved party to sort out the bill.
The truth remains that Wike is deeply aggrieved with PDP. His only objective now is to retain his position. If he will do that, he must ensure that BAT wins Abuja and Rivers state in 2027. Whatever happens to PDP is no longer his business. He must destroy PDP from within. As far as he is is concerned, he is an APC member in disguise. |

With each passing day you find yourself at a loss as to how to understand Nigeria..
You cannot release allocation to a democratically elected Governor who is working with a budget passed by 4 lawmakers under the logic that "those 4 lawmakers only represent 12 percent of the state"
But you can release allocation to a man who is not even from the state , appointed by the President, without even one single lawmaker to make appropriation.
I need someone to help me understand this..
Surely the Nigeria Constitution never could have contemplated this absurdity. Thank you very much for this very simple breakdown. Now we can all understand what that constitutional breach means. |

The minerals he's offering as a bargain is already mostly occupied by the rebels. To get it back from the rebels and save his country it's only wise to use it as a bargain. That question is unbelievable young man. Please take your time to read about colonialism in Africa. Read about imperialism. Or are you not aware that foreigners powers sponsor coups in African countries? Where is the wisdom in his move please? Read first and the revert to me. |
