I have a case similar, but mine is that my boss had never paid me since I started working for him except the 40k part-pay he gave me for my first month (June 2021) and from then up till October November since I stopped working, nothing has been paid to me. Blood covenant is very, very hard to break because it has to do with the Blood. Blood is a Symbol of life. Even if u report to his parents or to the Police, he might deny it. But why do u want to dump him by breaking the covenant?

It may interest you to know that the police or his parents have nothing to do with trying to force him break it. The most they can do is beg him to opt out of it. God saved me from this in my jss3. We almost did it but somehow, we didn't. We're still very good friends till date, and I wonder what would have been our situation now if we did it, we may not have loved each other anymore and also want to break it like our friend here wants.
